The results of theoretical and experimental studies of heat transfer and pressure drop in nonuniform porous materials and systems are presented. In experiments, measurements were made of the air flow rate, inlet and outlet air pressures, and air and porous sample temperatures. Experimental determination of the heat transfer coefficient in porous structures is associated with certain difficulties. The problem of determining a temperature difference between coolant and porous skeleton is the most complex. As a rule, under laboratory conditions this difference is small and cannot be found with sufficient accuracy. In the present work, the method of determination of the internal heat transfer coefficient is based on solving the inverse unsteady heat transfer problem for porous structures. Using this approach, the heat transfer coefficient is calculated indirectly or on the basis of the porous material temperature variation over time. 相似文献

Presented in this paper is a general theory describing the consolidation of a porous elastic soil. The formulation allows for the occurrence of finite geometry changes and finite elastic strains during the consolidation process. The governing equations have been cast in a rate form and the laws which determine deformation and pore fluid flow, i.e. Hooke's law and Darcy's law, are presented in a frame indifferent manner. A numerical technique is described that provides an approximate solution to the governing equations. The results of an experimental investigation of the local mean and fluctuating friction at the wall of a horizontal tube are presented for the case where a gas-liquid stream flows in the tube with a wide range of regime parameters. The motion of a hypersonic body is accompanied by an increase in the gas temperature in the boundary layer up to tens of thousands of degrees, which causes the gas to ionize. Under these conditions there are problems in calculating coefficients of viscosity, diffusion, and heat conduction. Investigations have shown that it is invalid to extrapolate the widely used approximations for transport coefficients in the high temperature region [1–3]. This paper considers the laminar boundary layer in the vicinity of the stagnation point of a blunt body in a stream of monatomic nonequilibrium ionized gas. The main thrust is a more accurate calculation of transport coefficients and an investigation of their effect on profiles of the gasdynamic parameters.
