This paper reports on the development of braided reinforced composite rods as a substitute for the steel reinforcement in concrete. The research work aims at understanding the mechanical behaviour of core-reinforced braided fabrics and braided reinforced composite rods, namely concerning the influence of the braiding angle, the type of core reinforcement fibre, and preloading and postloading conditions. The core-reinforced braided fabrics were made from polyester fibres for producing braided structures, and E-glass, carbon, HT polyethylene, and sisal fibres were used for the core reinforcement. The braided reinforced composite rods were obtained by impregnating the core-reinforced braided fabric with a vinyl ester resin. The preloading of the core-reinforced braided fabrics and the postloading of the braided reinforced composite rods were performed in three and two stages, respectively. The results of tensile tests carried out on different samples of core-reinforced braided fabrics are presented and discussed. The tensile and bending properties of the braided reinforced composite rods have been evaluated, and the results obtained are presented, discussed, and compared with those of conventional materials, such as steel. Cyanide detection in pure water is important for many applications. We present a novel type of chemodosimeter azo dye developed on the basis of the benzophenone as the electrophilic receptor of the cyanide anion and a saccharidic moiety to render the dye water soluble. This chemodosimeter is found to be highly selective and tunable toward only cyanide in pure water.  相似文献

Electrochemical oxidation of primary amine in ionic liquid media has been investigated. The ionic liquid chosen for this study was 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide. Two primary amine compounds are used for this study; 4-nitrobenzylamine and 2-aminoethylferrocenylmethylether. The oxidation of the amino compounds in ionic liquid conduces to the modification of the electrode surface. The modified electrodes were characterized by cyclic voltammetry and XPS analysis. Both techniques support the presence of an organic layer strongly attached onto the electrode surface. The surface concentration of the attached group obtained in this media was found to be around 1 to 3 × 10?10 mol cm?2. The use of ionic liquid as media for the grafting leads to decrease of the surface concentration of the grafted layer; and the formation of less dense layer compared with classical solvent such as acetonitrile.  相似文献

The reaction of nitrilimine 6a with ethyl pyridine-2-acetate (7) gave the corresponding pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyridine 8, while the reaction of 6b containing an ester moiety afforded the acyclic adduct 9. The reaction of 6a with 2-aminopyrimidine (10) gave the novel unexpected pyrimido[2,1-d]1,2,3,5-tetrazine 11. A copper-based magnetic nanocatalyst has been prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by FESEM, EDS, TEM, XRD, XRF, ICP–OES, FTIR, and BET analysis. This new nanocatalyst displays a good activity toward the aerobic oxidation of a wide range of alcohols in water. Moreover, it is recyclable up to five following runs by simple filtration without any significant loss of its catalytic activity.

The first systematic study of all dipolarophile sites of 1,2-diazepine towards nitrile oxide as dipole via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions has been carried out. To this end, the structural and energetic aspects of seventy-two isomers were determined by means of ab initio and density functional theory methods at different levels of accuracy were performed on all peri- and regio-isomeric forms. The agreement between the calculated and the experimental geometries, regio- and periselectivity of the studied reaction is good in all instances. The dipole condensation with the norcaradiene dipolarophile has been considered seemingly for the first time. The bis-cycloadduct 3a,3b,7,10a-tetrahydro-10 H-[1,2] oxazolo [4,5-d] [1,2,4] oxadiazolo [4,5-b] [1,2] diazepine is the most stable one as predicted by all methods used in this work. However, the tautomerization study of all forms of 1,2-diazepine seems to rule out the existence of the tautomeric form that provides the above mentioned cycloadduct. Consequently, the bis-cycloadduct 5,10-dioxa-1,2,4,11-tetrazatricyclo[7,3,1,02,6]trideca-3,7,11-triene is the favored product of this reaction.  相似文献
