Heterocyclic compounds particularly five, six and seven membered ring containing heterocycles are the most abundant which constitute a staggeringly diverse and important class of molecules that occur ubiquitously in a variety of synthetic drugs, bioactive natural products, pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Owing to the glorious past and impressive present of the biologically active heterocyclic scaffolds, these skeletons have long been a subject of immense interest. Hence, substantial efforts have been made to the development of new and innovative synthetic strategies for the synthesis of these heterocycles involving use of different metal catalysts, organic and inorganic reagents etc. Among the different types of metal catalysts used, iron catalysts are one of the cheap and easily available. In recent time, several new and innovative iron(III) chloride catalyzed synthesis of heterocycles with structural diversity are coming in the forefront of the literature by the scientific community. This review highlights the advancements made so far by iron(III) chloride for the synthesis of different assemblies of small heterocycles covering the year 2014–2018.  相似文献

In the present report, we have studied the structural and optical change in the In2Se3 thin films prepared by the thermal evaporation method, deposited on a glass substrate and annealed at 250°C. Both the structural and optical studies revealed the formation of γ-In2Se3 phase on annealing at such low temperature as 250°C which is not observed before. Raman analysis indicates that the as-prepared film consists of both α and γ-In2Se3 phases and the annealed film contains only γ-In2Se3 phase. The absorption mechanism in the studied film follows the direct allowed transition. The optical band gap is found to be decreased with annealing due to the increase in the width of localized states near to the band edges. Transmittance is found to be decreased and the absorption is increased with annealing due to the change in the film density which enhances its suitability for solar cell applications.  相似文献

Chronic N-Methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) administration to rats is reported to increase arachidonic acid signaling and upregulate neuroinflammatory markers in rat brain. These changes may damage brain cells. In this study, we determined if chronic NMDA administration (25 mg/kg i.p., 21 days) to rats would alter expression of pro- and anti-apoptotic factors in frontal cortex, compared with vehicle control.  相似文献

The microstructure and texture evolution during annealing of rolled pure Mg, at temperatures ranging from 150 to 400°C, was characterised in the present study. A grain growth exponent of n?=?13 was observed and the activation energy for grain growth kinetics was found to be 95.6?kJ?mol?1. Further, broadening of the normalised grain size distributions, indicating abnormal grain growth, was also observed at all temperatures of annealing. The sample had a dominant basal texture before annealing. However, after annealing up to a temperature of 300°C, the alleviation of basal texture was observed in the samples. On further annealing at a temperature of 400°C, a strong basal texture was developed in the samples. The mobility of high angle grain boundaries, which is proportional to correlated misorientation distribution, was observed to be responsible for texture strengthening of the material. The grain boundary mobility changes during grain growth led to the growth of either small or large grains. It was further observed that the growth of small grains caused the formation of basal fibre and large grains led to the weakening of basal texture.  相似文献

Nonlinear dynamics of a hinged–hinged pipe conveying pulsatile fluid subjected to combination and principal parametric resonance in the presence of internal resonance is investigated. The system has geometric cubic nonlinearity due to stretching effect out of immovable support conditions at both ends. The pipe conveys fluid at a velocity with a harmonically varying component over a constant mean velocity. For appropriate choice of system parameters, the natural frequency of the second mode is approximately three times that of the first mode for a range of mean flow velocity, activating a three-to-one internal resonance. The analysis is carried out using the method of multiple scales by directly attacking the governing nonlinear integro-partial-differential equations and the associated boundary conditions. The set of first-order ordinary differential equations governing the modulation of amplitude and phase is analyzed numerically for combination parametric resonance and principal parametric resonance. Stability, bifurcation and response behavior of the pipe are investigated. The amplitude and frequency detuning of the harmonic velocity perturbation are taken as the control parameters. The system exhibits response in the directly excited and indirectly excited modes due to modal interaction. Dynamic response of the system is presented in the form of phase plane trajectories, Poincare maps and time histories. A wide array of dynamical behavior is observed illustrating the influence of internal resonance.  相似文献

Hundreds of billions of commensal microorganisms live in and on our bodies, most of which colonize the gut shortly after birth and stay there for the rest of our lives. In animal models, bidirectional communications between the central nervous system and gut microbiota (Gut–Brain Axis) have been extensively studied, and it is clear that changes in microbiota composition play a vital role in the pathogenesis of various neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, anxiety, stress, and so on. The makeup of the microbiome is impacted by a variety of factors, such as genetics, health status, method of delivery, environment, nutrition, and exercise, and the present understanding of the role of gut microbiota and its metabolites in the preservation of brain functioning and the development of the aforementioned neurological illnesses is summarized in this review article. Furthermore, we discuss current breakthroughs in the use of probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics to address neurological illnesses. Moreover, we also discussed the role of boron-based diet in memory, boron and microbiome relation, boron as anti-inflammatory agents, and boron in neurodegenerative diseases. In addition, in the coming years, boron reagents will play a significant role to improve dysbiosis and will open new areas for researchers.  相似文献

Oxidative amination of azoles through catalytic C? H bond activation is a very important reaction due to the presence of 2‐aminoazoles in several biologically active compounds. However, most of the reported methods are performed under homogeneous reaction conditions using excess reagents and additives. Herein, we report the heterogeneous, porous γ‐MnO2‐catalyzed direct amination of benzoxazole with wide range of primary and secondary amines. The amination was carried under mild reaction conditions and using molecular oxygen as a green oxidant, without any additives. The catalyst can easily be separated by filtration and reused several times without a significant loss of its catalytic performance. Of note, the reaction tolerates a functional group such as alcohol, thus indicating the broad applicability of this reaction.  相似文献
