The catalytic activity of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) in a one-pot three component condensation reaction consisting of an aromatic aldehyde, urea or thiourea, and a β-dicarbonyl under solvent-free conditions was investigated. This reaction affords the corresponding dihydropyrimidinones (thiones) in high to excellent yields. Compared with the classical Biginelli reactions this method consistently gives a high yield, easy magnetic separation, a short reaction time, and catalyst reusability. 相似文献

In this article, the underlying dynamics of treating grade distribution is interpreted as a chaotic system instead of a stochastic system for a better understanding. Here, we study the behavior of grade distribution spatial series acquired at the Chadormalu mine in Bafgh city of Iran to distinguish the possible existence of low‐dimensional deterministic chaos. This work applies a variety of nonlinear techniques for detecting the chaotic nature of the grade distribution spatial series and adopts a nonlinear prediction method for predicting the future of the grade distributions. First, the delay time dimension is computed using auto mutual information function to reconstruct the strange attractors. Then, the dimensionality of the trajectories is obtained using Cao's method and, correspondingly, the correlation dimension method is adopted to quantify the embedding dimension. The low embedding dimensions achieved from these methods show the existence of low dimensional chaos in the mining data. Next, the high sensitivity to initial conditions is evaluated using the maximal Lyapunov exponent criterion. Positive Lyapunov exponents obtained demonstrate the exponential divergence of the trajectories and hence the unpredictability of the data. Afterward, the nonlinear surrogate data test is done to further verify the nonlinear structure of the grade distribution series. This analysis provides considerable evidence for the being of low‐dimensional chaotic dynamics underlying the mining spatial series. Lastly, a nonlinear prediction scheme is carried out to predict the grade distribution series. In the current work, based on a semiclassical Boltzmann approach, we have investigatedthe influence of the Rashba spin-orbit coupling on spin-current of a single layer gappedgraphene. It was shown that the Rashba coupling plays a considerable role in thegeneration of the spin-current of vertical spins in mono-layer graphene. The behavior ofthe spin-current is determined by the density of impurities. It was also shown that thespin-current of the system could increase by increasing the Rashba coupling strength andband-gap of the graphene and the sign of the spin-current could be controlled by thedirection of the current-driving electric field. 相似文献

Recent studies have shown that searches in the mono-photon and missing energy final state can be used to discover dark matter candidates at the ILC. While an excess in this final state over the Standard Model background would indicate the existence of a dark sector, no detailed information about the internal structure of this sector can be inferred. The effect of metallic nano-particles (MNPs) on the electrostatic potential of a disordered 2D dielectric media is considered. The disorder in the media is assumed to be white-noise Coulomb impurities with normal distribution. To realize the correlations between the MNPs we have used the Ising model with an artificial temperature T that controls the number of MNPs as well as their correlations. In the T → 0 limit, one retrieves the Gaussian free field (GFF), and in the finite temperature the problem is equivalent to a GFF in iso-potential islands. The problem is argued to be equivalent to a scale-invariant random surface with some critical exponents which vary with T and correspondingly are correlation-dependent. Two type of observables have been considered: local and global quantities. We have observed that the MNPs soften the random potential and reduce its statistical fluctuations. This softening is observed in the local as well as the geometrical quantities. The correlation function of the electrostatic and its total variance are observed to be logarithmic just like the GFF, i.e. the roughness exponent remains zero for all temperatures, whereas the proportionality constants scale with T ? T c . The fractal dimension of iso-potential lines (D f ), the exponent of the distribution function of the gyration radius (τ r ), and the loop lengths (τ l ), and also the exponent of the loop Green function x l change in terms of T ? T c in a power-law fashion, with some critical exponents reported in the text. Importantly we have observed that D f (T) ? D f (T c ) ~ 1/√ξ(T), in which ξ(T) is the spin correlation length in the Ising model. 相似文献

This paper reports an experimental work on the convective heat transfer of ferrofluid flowing through a heated copper tube in the laminar regime in the presence of magnetic field. Significant enhancement on the heat transfer of ferrofluid by applying various orders of magnetic field is observed in this experiment. Also in this experiment, the effect of magnetic nanoparticles concentrations and magnet position have been investigated. The main reason for the enhancement of heat transfer coefficient could be caused due to remarkable changes in thermophysical properties of ferrofluid under the influence of applied magnetic field. 相似文献

The wings of some insects, such as cicadae, have been reported to possess a number of interesting and unusual qualities such as superhydrophobicity, anisotropic wetting and antibacterial properties. Here, the chemical composition of the wings of the Clanger cicada (Psaltoda claripennis) were characterized using infrared (IR) microspectroscopy. In addition, the data generated from two separate synchrotron IR facilities, the Australian Synchrotron Infrared Microspectroscopy beamline (AS‐IRM) and the Synchrotron Radiation Center (SRC), University of Wisconsin‐Madison, IRENI beamline, were analysed and compared. Characteristic peaks in the IR spectra of the wings were assigned primarily to aliphatic hydrocarbon and amide functionalities, which were considered to be an indication of the presence of waxy and proteinaceous components, respectively, in good agreement with the literature. Chemical distribution maps showed that, while the protein component was homogeneously distributed, a significant degree of heterogeneity was observed in the distribution of the waxy component, which may contribute to the self‐cleaning and aerodynamic properties of the cicada wing. When comparing the data generated from the two beamlines, it was determined that the SRC IRENI beamline was capable of producing higher‐spatial‐resolution distribution images in a shorter time than was achievable at the AS‐IRM beamline, but that spectral noise levels per pixel were considerably lower on the AS‐IRM beamline, resulting in more favourable data where the detection of weak absorbances is required. The data generated by the two complementary synchrotron IR methods on the chemical composition of cicada wings will be immensely useful in understanding their unusual properties with a view to reproducing their characteristics in, for example, industry applications. 相似文献

A super-modified simplex (SMS) method has been used to optimize the mobile phase used for separation of seven water-soluble vitamins in multivitamin tablets by gradient micellar liquid chromatography (MLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detection at 254, 295, and 361 nm. Effect of column temperature and addition of organic modifier to the mobile phase on separation efficiency were investigated: the appropriate conditions used were a temperature of 35 degrees C and 1-butanol modifier. The sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) concentration, pH, and 1-butanol% in the mobile phase were chosen for simultaneous optimization using the SMS method. The optimum mobile phase was found to be 16 mmol L(-1) (mM) SDS, 0.02 M phosphate buffer, pH 3.6, and a gradient of 3.5-10% (v/v) butanol. The total analysis time for vitamins was 75 min. The analytical parameters including linearity ( r>0.9970), limit of detection (0.12-50 micro g mL(-1)), precision of method (relative standard deviation (RSD) <8.90%), and accuracy obtained by the recovery assay (88-103%) support the usefulness of the proposed method for the determination of the water-soluble vitamins. 相似文献
