By employing Senanayake's oxathiazolidine-2-oxide reagent, a collection of sulfinamides was prepared and provided the first examples of sulfinamides promoting the allylation of benzaldehyde and N-benzoylhydrazones with allyltrichlorosilane. The optimum sulfinamide-derived Lewis base promoter displays comparable activity to the best sulfinyl-based Lewis bases reported. The use of bis-sulfoxides is also discussed.  相似文献

Given that it is not always feasible to reach an affected area via land or sea within the first week following a natural disaster, aerial delivery provides the primary means to rapidly supply the affected population. Further, it is often the case that high density delivery of humanitarian aid supplies are taken over by non-friendly groups within the affected population. By using direct airdrop systems to deliver large quantities of individually wrapped food and water items, dispersion among the affected disaster relief population will occur more quickly. In this paper, we proffer a multiple criteria decision analysis (MCDA) framework to optimize the military humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HA/DR) aerial delivery supply chain network. The model uses stochastic, mixed-integer, weighted goal programming to optimize network design, logistics costs, staging locations, procurement amounts, and inventory levels. The MCDA framework enables decision-makers to explore the trade-offs between military HA/DR aerial delivery supply chain efficiency and responsiveness, while optimizing across a wide range of real-world, probabilistic scenarios to account for the inherent uncertainty in the location of global humanitarian disasters as well as the amount of demand to be met.  相似文献

The Bethe-Salpeter equation for a fermion-antifermion system, coupled by photons, is considered in the Feynman gauge. The kernel is that resulting from exchange of a single photon. The usual reduction of the sixteen B-S spinor amplitudes in terms of tensors leads to 16 coupled integro-differential equations. By straightforward application of charge conjugation-, parity-, and Lorentz-invariance, the system of coupled equations is reduced to ones involving no more than eight and as few as three scalar structure functions for the various parity, charge conjugation, and total angular momentum states. The results hold for arbitrary coupling strength. As a check of the equations obtained, a perturbation theory is carried out for the Coulomb interaction. It leads to effective potentials in agreement with those obtained previously to order 4 for positronium.  相似文献

Abstract— Single-strand breaks are produced in the phosphodiester backbone of ultraviolet-light-irradiated 5–bromodeoxyuridine-containing DNA (BU-DNA) after treatment with alkali. No radiation dependent breakage is observed in thymine-containing DNA (thy-DNA). The relative yields of breaks terminated by 5'-hydroxyl and 5'-phosphate groups was determined by measuring the rate of phosphorylation achieved with polynucleotide kinase in BU-DNA single strands before and after treatment with alkaline phosphatase. The ratio of 5'-phosphate to 5' hydroxyl groups ranged from 2.3 to 2.9 in different experiments. When cysteamine was present during irradiation no new end groups were produced.
In order to identify the nucleoside(s) at the 5'-termini, phosphate groups were removed with alkaline phosphatase and the 5'-hydroxyl groups were phosphorylated with polynucleotide kinase. Electrophoresis of enzymatic digests showed a single 32P-labeled component migrating more rapidly than any of the four usual 5'-mononucleotides. Upon column chromatography this component resolved into a major peak coincident with 5'-dUMP and a lesser unidentified constituent. No 5'-dBUM32P was observed among these nucleotides.  相似文献
