Here we report a simple and fast method for wine fingerprinting based on direct matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry analysis of different red wine samples, useful for batch-to-batch analysis and for the detection of key compounds even in trace amounts which may vary from vintage to vintage, and from one treatment to another one. A series of 20 samples from different wines were subjected to MALDI mass spectrometry. We found that 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid is far superior with respect to all the matrices tested To the best of our knowledge this is the first application of an effective wine profiling not limited to detection of anthocyanins. More than 80 molecular species were detected. Moreover, qualitative and quantitative differences were observed, owing to the nature and relative abundance of different chemical compounds among the wines.  相似文献

The correlation between β2‐, β3‐, and β2,3‐amino acid‐residue configuration and stability of helix and hairpin‐turn secondary structures of peptides consisting of homologated proteinogenic amino acids is analyzed (Figs. 1–3). To test the power of Zn2+ ions in fortifying and/or enforcing secondary structures of β‐peptides, a β‐decapeptide, 1 , four β‐octapeptides, 2 – 5 , and a β‐hexadecapeptide, 10 , have been devised and synthesized. The design was such that the peptides would a) fold to a 14‐helix ( 1 and 3 ) or a hairpin turn ( 2 and 4 ), or form neither of these two secondary structures (i.e., 5 ), and b) carry the side chains of cysteine and histidine in positions, which will allow Zn2+ ions to use their extraordinary affinity for RS? and the imidazole N‐atoms for stabilizing or destabilizing the intrinsic secondary structures of the peptides. The β‐hexadecapeptide 10 was designed to a) fold to a turn, to which a 14‐helical structure is attached through a β‐dipeptide spacer, and b) contain two cysteine and two histidine side chains for Zn complexation, in order to possibly mimic a Zn‐finger motif. While CD spectra (Figs. 6–8 and 17) and ESI mass spectra (Figs. 9 and 18) are compatible with the expected effects of Zn2+ ions in all cases, it was shown by detailed NMR analyses of three of the peptides, i.e., 2, 3, 5 , in the absence and presence of ZnCl2, that i) β‐peptide 2 forms a hairpin turn in H2O, even without Zn complexation to the terminal β3hHis and β3hCys side chains (Fig. 11), ii) β‐peptide 3 , which is present as a 14‐helix in MeOH, is forced to a hairpin‐turn structure by Zn complexation in H2O (Fig. 12), and iii) β‐peptide 5 is poorly ordered in CD3OH (Fig. 13) and in H2O (Fig. 14), with far‐remote β3hCys and β3hHis residues, and has a distorted turn structure in the presence of Zn2+ ions in H2O, with proximate terminal Cys and His side chains (Fig. 15).  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of the copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(pyim)(tcm)(2)](n) (1), [Cu(bpy)(tcm)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(bpz)(4)(tcm)(8)] (3), {[Cu(terpy)(tcm)].tcm}(n) (4) and {[Cu(2)(tppz)(tcm)(4)].3/2H(2)O}(n) (5) [pyim = 2-(2-pyridyl)imidazole, tcm = tricyanomethanide, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpz = 2,2'-bipyrazine, terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine and tppz = 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine] are reported. Complexes, 1, 2 and 4 are uniform copper(II) chains with single- (1 and 4) and double-(2) micro-1,5-tcm bridges with values of the intrachain copper-copper separation of 7.489(1) (1), 7.520(1) and 7.758(1) (2) and 7.469(1) A (4). Each copper atom in 1, 2 and 4 is five-coordinate with bidentate pyim (1)/bpy (2) and tridentate terpy (4) ligands and nitrile-nitrogen atoms from bridging (1,2 and 4) and terminal (1) tcm groups building a distorted square pyramidal surrounding. The structure of 3 is made up of neutral centrosymmetric rectangles of (2,2'-bipyrazine)copper(II) units at the corners, the edges being built by single- and double-micro-1,5-tcm bridges with copper-copper separations of 7.969(1) and 7.270(1) A, respectively. Five- and six-coordinated copper atoms with distorted square pyramidal and elongated octahedral environments occur in . Compound 5 is a neutral copper(II) chain with regular alternating bis-tridentate tppz and double micro-1,5-tcm bridges, the intrachain copper-copper distances being 6.549(7) and 7.668(1) A, respectively. The two crystallographically independent copper atoms in 5 have an elongated octahedral geometry with three tppz nitrogen atoms and a nitrile-nitrogen atom from a bridging tcm group in the equatorial positions, and two nitrile nitrogen atoms from a terminal and a bridging tcm ligand occupying the axial sites. The investigation of the magnetic properies of 1-5 in the temperature range 1.9-295 K has shown the occurrence of weak ferro- [J = +0.11(1) cm(-1) (2)] and antiferromagnetic interactions [J = -0.093(1) (1), -0.083(1) (4), -0.04(1) and 1.21(1) cm(-1) (3)] across the micro-1,5-tcm bridges and intermediate antiferromagnetic coupling [-J = 37.4(1) cm(-1) (5)] through bis-tridentate tppz. The values of the magnetic interactions are analyzed through simple orbital symmetry considerations and compared with those previously reported for related systems.  相似文献

The metabolic fate of the estrogenic mycotoxin zearalenone in rainbow trout is presently unknown. In this study, the tissue concentration of zearalenone and its principal metabolites (α-zearalenol and β-zearalenol) was determined. A known amount of zearalenone was administered as a single bolus to ten fish, and the biological tissue concentration was determined at various times following administration. The analytes were extracted from liver and muscular tissue using an on-line matrix solid-phase dispersion–solid-phase extraction sample preparation protocol, and their concentration determined by HPLC–Turboionspray–tandem mass spectrometry. The results showed that zearalenone is mainly metabolized into α-zearalenol in both liver and muscular tissues. The maximum concentrations of each analyte found in liver were 76.1, 211.2 and 63.7?ng/g respectively for zearalenone, α-zearalenol and β-zearalenol, while in muscular tissue they were 10.7, 8.2 and 6.5?ng/g. These values were reached after 2?h in liver tissue and 12?h in muscular tissue. Moreover the data obtained showed that the elimination rate in liver is quite fast since 48?h after the exposure less than 7% of the maximum concentration found is still present. In muscular tissue, however, about one-third of the maximum concentration found is still present after 48?h.  相似文献

The distribution ratios of n-alkanes, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and nitrated PAH components between fine and coarse fractions of soot has been investigated in downtown Rome through three field campaigns carried out at different times of the year. The preferential accumulation of almost all species investigated onto fine particles has been observed in all field experiments performed. Moreover, nitrated PAHs had varied distributions, according to the origin of their occurrence in the atmosphere; in fact, congeners of photochemical origin accumulated more in fine particles than those released by primary sources.  相似文献

2-Chlorotropone was obtained from 2-tosyloxytropone in 88% yield in the recyclable ionic medium BMIMBF4/LiCl. That Li+ acts as a Lewis acid was proven by the lack of reactivity of 2-tosyloxytropone, under the above conditions, on replacing LiCl with NaCl or BMIMCl, or using BMIMCl alone, or a BMIMBF4/MeCN/KCl mixture. 2-Bromo- and 2-iodotropone were obtained along similar lines from LiBr or LiI, respectively, whereas LiF proved unreactive.  相似文献

A parallel localized spectroscopy (PALSY) method is presented to speed up the acquisition of multidimensional NMR (nD) spectra. The sample is virtually divided into a discrete number of nonoverlapping slices that relax independently during consecutive scans of the experiment, affording a substantial reduction in the interscan relaxation delay and the total experiment time. PALSY was tested for the acquisition of three experiments 2D COSY, 2D DQF‐COSY and 2D TQF‐COSY in parallel, affording a time‐saving factor of 3–4. Some unique advantages are that the achievable resolution in any dimension is not compromised in any way: it uses conventional NMR data processing, it is not prone to generate spectral artifacts, and once calibrated, it can be used routinely with these and other combinations of NMR spectra.
