The stoichiometries and binding constants of the host-guest complexes between the bicyclic azoalkanes 1-6 and alpha-, beta-, and gamma-cyclodextrins (CDs) and the induced circular dichroism (ICD) of the complexes were analyzed. Assisted by proximity relationships obtained from 2D ROESY NMR spectra, the signs and intensities of the ICD spectra are interpreted in terms of the solution structures (co-conformations) of the CD complexes. The ICD assignments are based on the orientation-intensity ICD rules of Harata and Kodaka, which relate the ICD signs and intensities to the relative orientation of the electric dipole transition moment of the n,pi azo chromophore to the CD axis. The influence of the size of the guest and the host is discussed and the effect of introducing an additional chromophore (either a phenyl or a second azo group) on the ICD spectra is demonstrated. 相似文献

This research investigated a novel process to prepare polyester from corn stover through liquefaction and crosslinking processes.
First, corn stover was liquefied in organic solvents (90 wt% ethylene glycol and 10 wt% ethylene carbonate) with catalysts
at moderate temperature under atmospheric pressure. The effect of liquefaction temperature, biomass content, and type of catalyst,
such H2SO4, HCl, H3PO4, and ZnCl2, was evaluated. Higher liquefaction yield was achieved in 2 wt% sulfuric acid, 1/4 (w/w) stover to liquefying reagent ratio;
160°C temperature, in 2h. The liquefied corn stover was rich in polyols, which can be directly used as feedstock for making
polymers without further separation or purification. Second, polyester was made from the liquefied corn stover by crosslinking
with multifunctional carboxylic acids and/or cyclic acid anhydrides. The tensile strength of polyester is about 5 MPa and
the elongation is around 35%. The polyester is stable in cold water and organic solvents and readily biodegradable as indicated
by 82% weight loss when buried in damp soil for 10 mo. The results indicate that this novel polyester could be used for the

The two complexes [Ni(oxen)Cu(L)2](ClO4)2.xH2O (L=2,2'-bipyridyl(bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline(phen)) have been synthesized, where oxen is N,N'-bis(2-aminoethyl)oxamido di-anion. The crystal structure of [Ni(oxen)Cu(bpy)2](ClO4)2.CH3OH has been determined by X-ray diffraction method. The crystal is triclinic system, space group P1 with a=12.179(1),b=12.298(2), c=11.476(2) A, a=97.57(1), B=97.52(1), 7=80.29(2), V=1669.04(67) A3, Z=2, Dcalcd=1.667 g/cm3. The structure has been refined to final R of 0.076 and Rw of 0.080, respectively. A rapid method based on matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD) was developed for the determination of procymidone, pentachloroaniline and methyl-pentachloro-phenylsulfide in wine. After the optimisation of different parameters such as the type of adsorbent, the extraction solvent, and the extraction assistance by sonication. The analysis of samples was accomplished using gas chromatography with electron-capture detector (GC-ECD). Spiked blank samples were used as standards to counteract the matrix effect observed in the chromatographic determination. The recovery of the method was in the range 82.4–93.7% and a good linear relationship (R 2 ≥ 0.9992) with relative standard deviations lower than 8%. The limits of detection (LOD) ranged from 0.1 to 0.4 μg L?1. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of these compounds in commercial wine samples. 相似文献

The effects of variant counterions with ionic strength of 0.05, 0.10, 0.20 and 0.25 mol·kg^-1 on the stability and particle size of silica sols have been studied using the traditional methods of Ubbelohde viscosity measurement, TEM and titration respectively, finding that the stability and particle size of the silica sols are all concerned with the acidic, positively electric properties and the sizes of the counterions, as well as the attraction between the counterions and surface silicon hydroxyl groups of the silica sols. The small positively charged counterions lead to the decrease in particle sizes, making the silica sol the most stable. But the larger weakly acidic counterions can restrict the particle sizes of the silica sols and easily make the sols coagulate. It was also found that there existed a linear relationship between log r and log η, which has not ever been reported. The effect of temperature on the stability and particle sizes was also discussed. 相似文献
