There have been performed experimental measurements of effective thermal conductivity of silica-gel for a stagnant cylindrical fixed bed under transient and steady state conditions in the presence of dry air at different pressures and for different amounts of adsorbed water. The Bauer-Schlünder and Kunii-Smith models have been used to identify the thermal solid conductivity of silica gel pellets from measurements of the conductivity in an adsorbent bed. Sorption rates of water vapor in silica gel were measured using a single-step thermal method by monitoring the sample surface temperature by infrared detection. In order to obtain the mass diffusivity it is necessary to match the numerical solution of the mathematical model to the experimental data.  相似文献

We have synthesized and characterized a phosphoramidite derivative of 2′-deoxy-6-selenoinosine (d6SeI) and incorporated this modification into an oligonucleotide by solid-phase synthesis. During cleavage from the solid-support and deprotection, spontaneous dimerization of this oligonucleotide occurs via formation of a diselenide cross-link between the modified nucleobases. This cross-link can be readily reduced to restore the single-stranded oligonucleotide. UV thermal denaturation and circular dichroism spectroscopy of duplexes with d6SeI paired against all four native nucleobases revealed minor differences in stability and structure relative to 2′-deoxyinosine. This selenium containing nucleobase modification may be useful for applications in DNA nanomaterials and X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

A library of 50 copper‐based complexes derived from bisphosphines and diamines was prepared and evaluated in three mechanistically distinct photocatalytic reactions. In all cases, a copper‐based catalyst was identified to afford high yields, where new heteroleptic complexes derived from the bisphosphine BINAP displayed high efficiency across all reaction types. Importantly, the evaluation of the library of copper complexes revealed that even when photophysical data is available, it is not always possible to predict which catalyst structure will be efficient or inefficient in a given process, emphasizing the advantages for catalyst structures with high modularity and structural variability.  相似文献

Structural analysis of methyl and dimethyl cyclohexanols using gas-lquid chromatography and C13 nuclear magnetic resonance

Kováts' retention indices and C13 chemical shifts of all twenty dimethyl cyclohexanols have been measured and assigned. It has been found that there are good linear relationships between carbon chemical shifts and the Kováts' indices.  相似文献

We have synthesized and studied the ring dehydration mechanisms and kinetics of polyamic acid models in solution and in the solid state using 13C-NMR (solid and liquid), HPLC, FTIR, and x-ray diffraction. Results obtained in solution show the role of temperature, catalysts, and the basicity of the amine in ring dehydration mechanisms and kinetics, as well as conformation and intramolecular bonds in the amic acid bond in the solid state. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A volume step method measuring the pressure and the adsorbent temperature of an adsorbent-adsorbate system has been developped. It is shown that this method allows the determination of all the relevant parameters of an adsorption process, kinetic as well as thermodynamic in case of Linear Driving Force mass transfer. The method for determining the parameters can be extended to the case of diffusive mass transfer if the mass transfer kinetics is faster than the heat transfer kinetics. An example is given, showing the determination of the diffusion coefficient of carbon dioxide in NaX zeolite pellets and the change of the diffusion coefficient and of the isosteric heat of adsorption when the adsorbent is not fully dehydrated.  相似文献
