九十年代对纳米尺寸(nanoscale)材料的光物理性质的深入研究,导致了介于微观与宏观物理间的新的学科一介观物理(mesoscopic physics)的产生.其科学义在于建立和发展介于原子分子和固体之间所谓介观系统(mesoscopic system)的量子理论,揭示介观物质特性及其相互作用本质,并利用介观特性探索新型结构和功能材料.以往对纳米半导体超微粒材料的研究主要集中于与本征特性相关的量子尺寸效应,或缺陷对超微粒本征特性的影响[1,2].超微粒中过渡金属离子中心发光性质研究首次报道于1993年[3,4]并指出这可能成为崭新的一类发光材料. 相似文献

The results of electron paramagnetic resonance experiments on Mn diluted in zinc single crystals are reported showing a small anisotropy in the g-factor. We present a search for the decay B(-)--> tau(-)nu(tau) in a sample of 88.9 x 10(6) BB pairs recorded with the BABAR detector at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center B factory. One of the two B mesons from the Gamma(4S) is reconstructed in a hadronic or a semileptonic final state, and the decay products of the other B in the event are analyzed for consistency with a B(-) --> tau(-)nu(tau) decay. We find no evidence of a signal and set an upper limit on the branching fraction of B(B(-) --> tau(-) nu(tau)) < 4.2 x 10(-4) at the 90% confidence level. 相似文献

The static configuration of ferroelectric domain walls was investigated using atomic force microscopy on epitaxial PbZr(0.2)Ti(0.8)O(3) thin films. Measurements of domain wall roughness reveal a power-law growth of the correlation function of relative displacements B(L) alpha L(2zeta) with zeta approximately 0.26 at short length scales L, followed by an apparent saturation at large L. In the same films, the dynamic exponent mu was found to be approximately 0.6 from independent measurements of domain wall creep. These results give an effective domain wall dimensionality of d = 2.5, in good agreement with theoretical calculations for a two-dimensional elastic interface in the presence of random-bond disorder and long-range dipolar interactions. 相似文献

We present measurements of the branching fraction and CP-violating asymmetries in the decay B0-->f0(980)K0S. The results are obtained from a data sample of 123 x 10(6) Upsilon(4S)-->BB decays. From a time-dependent maximum likelihood fit, we measure the branching fraction B(B0-->f0(980)(-->pi+pi-)K0)=(6.0+/-0.9+/-0.6+/-1.2)x10(-6), the mixing-induced CP violation parameter S=-1.62(+0.56)(-0.51)+/-0.09+/-0.04, and the direct CP violation parameter C=0.27+/-0.36+/-0.10+/-0.07, where the first errors are statistical, the second systematic, and the third due to model uncertainties. We measure the f0(980) mass and width to be mf0(980)=(980.6+/-4.1+/-0.5+/-4.0) MeV/c2 and Gammaf0(980)=(43(+12)(-9)+/-3+/-9) MeV/c2, respectively. 相似文献

The heavy fermion system exhibits properties that range from an incommensurate antiferromagnet for small to an exotic superconductor on the Ir-rich end of the phase diagram. At intermediate where antiferromagnetism coexists with superconductivity, two types of magnetic order are observed: the incommensurate one of and a new, commensurate antiferromagnetism that orders separately. The coexistence of -electron superconductivity with two distinct -electron magnetic orders is unique among unconventional superconductors, adding a new variety to the usual coexistence found in magnetic superconductors. 相似文献

Artificial PbTiO3/SrTiO3 superlattices were constructed using off-axis rf magnetron sputtering. X-ray diffraction and piezoelectric atomic force microscopy were used to study the evolution of the ferroelectric polarization as the ratio of PbTiO3 to SrTiO3 was changed. For PbTiO3 layer thicknesses larger than the 3-unit cell SrTiO3 thickness used in the structure, the polarization is found to be reduced as the thickness is decreased. This observation confirms the primary role of the depolarization field in the polarization reduction in thin films. For the samples with ratios of PbTiO3 to SrTiO3 of less than one, a surprising recovery of ferroelectricity that cannot be explained by electrostatic considerations was observed. 相似文献

Capacitive discharges have classically been modeled in the electrostatic approximation. However, electromagnetic effects become significant if the excitation wavelength lambda and the plasma skin depth delta are not infinite. An electromagnetic model valid in the entire range of lambda and delta of practical interest is solved. We find that the plasma may either be sustained by the usual capacitive (E) field or by an inductive (H) field, and that the discharge experiences E to H transitions as the voltage between the electrodes is raised. 相似文献

We present the first study of the statistics of GHz photons in quantum circuits, using Hanbury Brown and Twiss correlations. The super-Poissonian and Poissonian photon statistics of thermal and coherent sources, respectively, made of a resistor and a radio frequency generator, are measured down to the quantum regime at milli-Kelvin temperatures. As photon correlations are linked to the second and fourth moments of current fluctuations, this experiment, which is based on current cryogenic electronics, may become a standard for probing electron/photon statistics in quantum conductors. 相似文献

We measure the branching fraction for the charmless semi-inclusive process B --> eta'Xs, where the eta' meson has a momentum in the range 2.0 to 2.7 GeV/c in the upsilon4S center-of-mass frame and Xs represents a system comprising a kaon and zero to four pions. We find B(B --> eta'Xs) = [3.9 +/- 0.8(stat) +/- 0.5(syst) +/- 0.8(model)] x 10(-4). We also obtain the Xs mass spectrum and find that it fits models predicting high masses. 相似文献
