Density, speed of sound and viscosity measurements of binary aqueous solutions of tri-potassium citrate were performed from dilute up to near saturated concentration range at T = (293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, and 313.15) K. Volumetric and transport properties of ternary aqueous solutions of (tri-potassium citrate + KCl) have also been measured within the molality range of KCl (0.05, 0.15, 0.25, 0.35, 0.45, and 0.55) at different temperatures. Apparent molar volume and apparent molar isentropic compressibility have been calculated from the density and speed of sound for binary and ternary aqueous solutions of tri-potassium citrate. Apparent molar volume and apparent molar isentropic compressibility of ternary aqueous solutions of (tri-potassium citrate + KCl) have been correlated with the Redlich–Mayer equation. Viscosity values of ternary aqueous solutions of (tri-potassium citrate + KCl) have been fitted with the Jones–Dole equation. The results obtained have been interpreted in elucidating the effect of tri-potassium citrate on the interaction of KCl–H2O. Density and viscosity values of ternary aqueous solutions of (tri-potassium citrate + KCl) have been predicted successfully using the methods proposed by Laliberte (2007), Laliberte and Cooper (2004) [9], [10] and Zafarani-Moattar and Majdan-Cegincara (2009) [11].  相似文献

Polyvinyl amine coated Fe3O4@SiO2 composite microspheres with a core-shell structure were prepared and employed as a magnetic catalyst for Knoevenagel condensation under mild conditions. The catalyst can be readily recovered using a magnet and reused several times without loss in activity or selectivity. The performance of the magnetic base catalyst was compared with that of polyvinyl amine functionalized mesoporous SBA-15, which showed that the magnetic nanoparticles gave improved reaction rate and yield.  相似文献

Time-dependent, two-dimensional(2 D) magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)micropolar nanomaterial flow over a shrinking/stretching surface near the stagnant point is considered. Mass and heat transfer characteristics are incorporated in the problem. A model of the partial differential expressions is altered into the forms of the ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations. The obtained equations are numerically solved by a shooting scheme in the MAPLE software. Dual solutions are observed at different values of the specified physical parameters. The stability of first and second solutions is examined through the stability analysis process. This analysis interprets that the first solution is stabilized and physically feasible while the second one is un-stable and not feasible. Furthermore, the natures of various physical factors on the drag force, skin-friction factor, and rate of mass and heat transfer are determined and interpreted. The micropolar nanofluid velocity declines with a rise in the suction and magnetic parameters, whereas it increases by increasing the unsteadiness parameter.The temperature of the micropolar nanofluid rises with increase in the Brownian motion,radiation, thermophoresis, unsteady and magnetic parameters, but it decreases against an increment in the thermal slip constraint and Prandtl number. The concentration of nanoparticles reduces against the augmented Schmidt number and Brownian movement values but rises for incremented thermophoresis parameter values.  相似文献

The superior material properties of β‐keratin along with the hierarchical high‐aspect‐ratio structure of geckos' foot pad have enabled geckos to stick readily and rapidly to almost any surfaces in both dry and wet conditions. In this research, nonsticky fluoropolymer (Teflon AF) resembling β‐keratin rigidity and having an extremely low surface energy and dielectric constant was applied to fabricate a novel dry adhesive consisting of high‐aspect‐ratio nanopillars terminated with a “fluffy” top layer. Both the nanopillars and the terminating layer are fabricated concurrently by replica molding using a nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide membrane as the mold. These Teflon AF hierarchical nanostructures are shown to have an exceptional capacity to generate strong adhesion in both dry conditions and under water because of combined actions of van der Waals forces, electrostatic attractions, and hydrophobic effects. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this research, flower-like cobalt nanostructures were synthesized in a solution of water and ethylene glycol under microwave radiation without using metal foils or templates for self-assembly. The synthesized nanoparticles were completely stable in free air. Size distribution and phase of nanoparticles can be controlled through the synthetic process. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform IR (FTIR), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) measurements were carried out to investigate the structural properties and to interpret the formation process of flower-like cobalt nanostructures. Size distribution and average size of particles were determined by Dynamic Laser Light Scattering (DLLS) measurements. Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) was used to investigate the thermal stability of cobalt nanoparticles. All experiments were designed to fulfill the L8 Taguchi design and data analysis was performed using MINITAB software.  相似文献

In the present investigation, we have decided to study the interaction between the bovine whey carrier protein of β-lactoglobulin (BLG) with a newly synthesized Pt(II) complex (bipyridine ethyl dithiocarbamate Pt(II) nitrate), as an anti-cancer compound using fluorescence and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopic methods at two different temperatures of 25 and 37 °C. Also, cytotoxicity and apoptotic activity of this complex have studied against cancer model cell line of K562. Results of intrinsic fluorescence of BLG represent that Pt(II) complex has strong ability to quench the intrinsic fluorescence of protein through dynamic quenching procedure. The values of binding constant (0.21 and 0.27 μM?1 at 25 and 37 °C, respectively) and number of binding site calculated according to the quenching methods at different temperatures. Also, thermodynamic parameters data suggested that hydrophobic interaction plays a major role in the interaction of complex with BLG. In addition, far-UV-CD results show that Pt(II) complex did not induce any significant changes in the secondary structure of BLG. Cytotoxicity and apoptotic effects of the complex toward the cancer cell line of K562 were measured using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay and 4,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole staining methods. From above results, it can be concluded that the bovine whey carrier protein of BLG could bind to be a suitable transfer for this new anti-cancer compound and may be suggested that the anti-tumor activity of this complex reveals typical morphological features of apoptotic death.  相似文献

A problem of a dynamically balanced asymmetric ball with a rotor rolling over a rough horizontal plane is considered. Earlier, A. Y. Moskvin constructed bifurcation diagrams of the momentum map and bifurcation complexes in order to study the dynamics of the system and to obtain singular solutions. A natural development of this research is a fine Liouville analysis of the system. The first step in this direction is presented in the paper, namely, we verify the non-degeneracy of singularities and describe the Liouville foliation in a neighborhood of singular points of the momentum map.  相似文献
