Two-high power excimer laser systems with square (25 × 25 cm) and circular (with a diameter of 40 cm) cross sections of the
output laser beam are described. The first (second) system consists of four (five) excimer lasers. The experimental results
on the generation of the high-quality high-power laser pulses are presented. Laser beams with a pulse duration of 1–250 ns,
a divergence of 0.01 mrad, a spectral line width of 0.01 cm−1, and a pulse energy of up to 330 J are obtained.

In tilted magnetic fields a bilayer electron–hole system is found to generate a photocurrent under terahertz radiation as the system is tuned to electron cyclotron resonance conditions. The photoinduced current amplitude oscillates with the magnetic field in correlation with Shubnikov–de Haas oscillations for electrons. The phenomenon is accounted for by a photomagnetic effect in electron–hole systems in the quantum Hall regime and has potentialities for terahertz detection and spectroscopy. 相似文献

We investigate three-flavour chiral perturbation theory including virtual photons in the limit in which the strange quark
mass is much larger than the external momenta and the up and down quark masses, and where the external fields are those of
two-flavour chiral perturbation theory. In particular, we work out the strange quark mass dependence of the electromagnetic
two-flavour low-energy constants C and ki. We expect that these relations will be useful for a more precise determination of the electromagnetic low-energy constants.

The paper describes a new source of surface organic radicals whose special feature is a low rate of the initiation of alkyl radicals in reactions of H atoms with the surface of alkanes. A special reactor design was used to accumulate radicals at room temperature and observe alkoxyl radicals RO by the EPR method. For this purpose, alkanes were deposited on aerosil and placed into an EPR cavity. Thanks to the large area of aerosil loads (~103 cm2), we were able to obtain a stable signal corresponding to a ~1017 total amount of alkoxyl radicals (the degree of surface coverage ~0.1%). When O2 was introduced into the reactor in concentrations of 1015–1016 cm?3, a sharp decrease in the signal from surface organic radicals was observed. The process was described as the first-order (RO) s + O2 → HO2 + ketone reaction with a 1.7 × 10?17 cm3 s?1 rate constant. 相似文献

The integral characteristics of magnetization switching in amorphous gadolinium-cobalt films with perpendicular anisotropy
are studied by visualizing the domain structure and measuring magnetooptic hysteresis loops. The films have a radial gradient
of magnetic properties that is due to a spatially nonuniform thermal field. Magnetization switching in those film areas where
the domain wall motion depends only on the coercive force is simulated in simple terms. In a first approximation, local events
of magnetization switching are shown to take place independently of each other and the net hysteresis loop can be represented

Hollow-core photonic-crystal fibers with a special dispersion profile are shown to allow phase-matched nonlinear optical interactions of isolated air-guided modes of high-intensity femtosecond laser pulses confined in the hollow fiber core. We review the non-anticommutative Q-deformations of = (1, 1) supersymmetric theories in four-dimensional Euclidean harmonic superspace. These deformations preserve chirality
and harmonic Grassmann analyticity. The associated field theories arise as a low-energy limit of string theory in specific
backgrounds and generalize the Moyal-deformed supersymmetric field theories. A characteristic feature of the Q-deformed theories is the half-breaking of supersymmetry in the chiral sector of the Euclidean superspace. Our main focus
is on the chiral singlet Q-deformation, which is distinguished by preserving the SO(4) ∼ Spin(4) “Lorentz” symmetry and the SU(2) R-symmetry. We present the superfield and component structures of the deformed = (1, 0) supersymmetric gauge theory as well as of hypermultiplets coupled to a gauge superfield: invariant actions, deformed
transformation rules, and so on. We discuss quantum aspects of these models and prove their renormalizability in the Abelian
case. For the charged hypermultiplet in an Abelian gauge superfield background we construct the deformed holomorphic effective
action.

The approach to using hydrogen as fuel, which ensures the smooth operation of autonomous power systems that use renewable energy sources (wind or solar power installations) with the stochastic mode of power generation, has been presented. The fundamental possibility of implementing the nondetonation combustion of hydrogen via the addition of ecologically clean components or a small percentage of methane has been demonstrated by methods of mathematical modeling.
