Benzothiazolium compounds exhibit pronounced antimicrobial activities and stimulation effects on plant growth. When applied to fields they can pollute soil colloids. In contact with the soil they can potentially interact with a clay fraction giving rise to clay organocomplexes. Model intercalation complexes were prepared using monoionic montmorillonite and a variety of water-soluble benzothia zolium salts. It was found that the adsorption into the silicate interlayer space proceeds via a cation exchange process. Substantial differences were observed in the extent of the reaction between non-substituted andN-substituted species. The sulphur atoms present in the benzothiazolium molecules repel the surface oxygen atom: this is considered to be the factor responsible for prevention of insertion of the guest cations perpendicular to the layers. 相似文献

Summary A general formula for the Kekulé structure count (K) is deduced for the class of catacondensed all-benzenoids with unbranched backbones. The formula is extended to thin pericondensed all-benzenoids, where allowance is made for pyrene units. In this treatment the fragmentation matrices are employed. A generalization of these matrices is furnished. Next some generalK formulas for classes of catacondensed and thin pericondensed all-coronoids are deduced. Amphiphilic graft copolymers were synthesized via activated ester substitution of derivatives of fumaric acid with amino-functionalized methoxypoly (oxyethylene)s (MPEO-NH2) of different molecular weights. The monomeric activated esters, isopropyl pentachlorophenyl fumarate (PCPFA) and isopropyl succinimido fumarate (SIFA), were copolymerized with styrene (St) or N-vinyl pyrrolidone (VP) at equimolar ratio. The polymeric-activated esters proved to be good precursors for grafting of definite amounts of MPEO-NH2. The aminolysis of the succinimide esters and VP-containing copolymers proceeded with gel formation due to extensive hydrogen bonding. The hydrodynamic behavior, the emulsifying ability, the thermal properties, and crystallinity of the graft copolymers were studied as a function of their molecular characteristics. Some halo or mercaptide bridged palladium (II) dimers, [Pd(S2CNR2)X]3 (R=ibutyl, X=Cl, Br, I, S-ethyl and S-t-butyl) were studied by variable temperature 1H nmr spectroscopy. Line shape changes of the chloro and bromo bridged dimers were interpretated by the solvolytic breaking of the Pd-X bond, while mercaptide bridged complexes were explained in terms of slow N-C single bond rotation. Molecular structures of three emissive annular digold compounds [Au2(dmpm)(dtc)]Cl (dmpm = Me2PCH2PMe2,dtc = S2CNEt2), 1 , [Au2(dppm)(dtc)]PF6, (dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2),2,and [Au2(dppe)(dtc)]-(PF2) (dppe = Ph2P(CH2)2PPh2), 3, were determined. All three compounds are dimetallacycles having two gold atoms bridged by a dithiolate ligand and a diphosphine ligand, the geometry around each gold atom being almost linear. All the dimetal lacy die rings are slightly distorted from planarity with intramolecular Au-Au distances shorter than 3.0 Å. Compound 1 forms a polymeric chain through intermolecular Au-Au contacts (3.061 ? 3.135 Å). Compound 2 forms a tetramer through intermolecular Au-Au interactions (Au-Au distances ranging from 3.086 to 3.222 ). Compound 3 is monomeric. All of the compounds luminesce at 77 K in the solid state. Emissions originating from 3LMCT from dtc ligand to Au excited states are assigned. The emission maxima of 1 ? 3 are at 541,535 and 520 nm respectively and are blue shifted as the number of Au-Au interactions is decreased. 相似文献

A synthesis of (6 R, 7 R)-7-acylamino-2-oxocephem-4-carboxylic acids from penicillins is reported based on the formation of the 2-oxocephem system in an intramolecular Wittig condensation.
