We have developed a convenient two-step procedure for the synthesis of 3-ethoxycarbonyl indoles from commercially available materials. The two-step procedure involves the synthesis of 2-aryl-3-hydroxypropenoic acid ester, followed by a catalytic reduction. This method is efficient, simple, and selective.  相似文献

Generation 5 ethylenediamine (EDA)-cored poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers (E5, E denotes the EDA core and 5 the generation number) with different degrees of acetylation and carboxylation were synthesized and used as a model system to investigate the effect of charge and the influence of dendrimer surface modifications on electrophoretic mobility (EM) and molecular distribution. The surface-modified dendrimers were characterized by size-exclusion chromatography, 1H NMR, MALDI-TOF-MS, PAGE, and CE. The focus of our study was to determine how EM changes as a function of particle charge and molecular mass, and how the molecular distribution changes due to surface modifications. We demonstrate that partially modified dendrimers have much broader migration peaks than those of fully surface functionalized or unmodified E5 dendrimers due to variations in the substitution of individual dendrimer surfaces. EM decreased nonlinearly with increases in surface acetylation for both PAMAM acetamides and PAMAM succinamic acids, indicating a complex migration activity in CE separations that is not solely due to charge/mass ratio changes. These studies provide new insights into dendrimer properties under an electric field, as well as into the characterization of dendrimer-based materials being developed for medical applications.  相似文献

A mid-infrared supercontinuum (SC) is generated in ZBLAN (ZrF4-BaF2-LaF3-AlF3-NaF...) fluoride fibers from amplified nanosecond laser diode pulses with a continuous spectrum from approximately 0.8 microm to beyond 4.5 microm. The SC has an average power of approximately 23 mW, a pump-to-SC power conversion efficiency exceeding 50%, and a spectral power density of approximately -20 dBm/nm over a large fraction of the spectrum. The SC generation is initiated by the breakup of nanosecond laser diode pulses into femtosecond pulses through modulation instability, and the spectrum is then broadened primarily through fiber nonlinearities in approximately 2-7 m lengths of ZBLAN fiber. The SC long-wavelength edge is consistent with the intrinsic ZBLAN material absorption.  相似文献

Well-crystallized hydrogenated carbon nitride thin films have been prepared by microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (MWPECVD). 1H-1,2,3-triazole+N2 and Si (1 0 0) were used as precursor and substrate, respectively. Substrate temperature during the deposition was recorded to be 850 °C. The synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses. The plasma compositions were checked by optical emission spectroscopy (OES). XRD observation strongly suggests that the films contain polycrystalline carbon nitride with graphitic structure of (1 0 0), (0 0 2), (2 0 0) and (0 0 4). XPS peak quantification reveals that the atomic ratio of the materials C:N:O:Si is 32:41:18:9. X-ray photo-electron peak deconvolution shows that the most dominant peak of C (1s) and N (1s) narrow scans correspond to sp2 hybrid structure of C3N4. These observations indicate that 1H-1,2,3-triazole favors the formation of hydrogenated carbon nitride with graphitic phase by CVD method and thus is in good agreement with XRD results. SEM of surface and OES of plasma also support the formation of polycrystalline carbon nitride films from 1H-1,2,3-triazole+N2 by CVD.  相似文献

The X‐ray mass attenuation coefficients of silver were measured in the energy range 5–20 keV with an accuracy of 0.01–0.2% on a relative scale down to 5.3 keV, and of 0.09–1.22% on an absolute scale to 5.0 keV. This analysis confirms that with careful choice of foil thickness and careful correction for systematics, especially including harmonic contents at lower energies, the X‐ray attenuation of high‐Z elements can be measured with high accuracy even at low X‐ray energies (<6 keV). This is the first high‐accuracy measurement of X‐ray mass attenuation coefficients of silver in the low energy range, indicating the possibility of obtaining high‐accuracy X‐ray absorption fine structure down to the L1 edge (3.8 keV) of silver. Comparison of results reported here with an earlier data set optimized for higher energies confirms accuracy to within one standard error of each data set collected and analysed using the principles of the X‐ray extended‐range technique (XERT). Comparison with theory shows a slow divergence towards lower energies in this region away from absorption edges. The methodology developed can be used for the XAFS analysis of compounds and solutions to investigate structural features, bonding and coordination chemistry.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce delay-dependent control strategies for bilateral teleoperation systems in the presence of passive and constant input forces under time varying delay. We first design teleoperation systems where the local and remote sites are coupled by position signals of the master and slave manipulator. The design also combined undelayed position and velocity signals with nonlinear adaptive control terms to deal with the parametric uncertainties associated with the dynamical model of the master and slave manipulator. Then, we develop teleoperators by delaying position and velocity signals of the master and slave manipulator. Using Lyapunov–Krasovskii function, delay-dependent stability and tracking conditions for both teleoperators are developed in the presence of symmetrical and unsymmetrical time varying delays. The stability conditions are established in the presence of passive and constant human and environment interaction forces with the master and slave manipulators. Finally, simulation results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical development of the proposed designs for real-time teleoperation applications.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: A simple, specific, and fast stability indicating reverse phase liquid chromatographic method was established for instantaneous determination of moxifloxacin and prednisolone in bulk drugs and pharmaceutical formulations. RESULTS: Optimum chromatographic separations among the moxifloxacin, prednisolone and stressinduced degradation products were achieved within 10 minutes by use of BDS Hypersil C8 column (250 X 4.6 mm, 5 mum) as stationary phase with mobile phase consisted of a mixture of phosphate buffer (18 mM) containing 0.1% (v/v) triethylamine, at pH 2.8 (adjusted with dilute phosphoric acid) and methanol (38:62 v/v) at a flow rate of 1.5 mL min-1. Detection was performed at 254 nm using diode array detector. The method was validated in accordance with ICH guidelines. Response was a linear function of concentrations over the range of 20-80 mug mL-1 for moxifloxacin (r2 [greater than or equal to] 0.998) and 40-160 mug mL-1 for prednisolone (r2 [greater than or equal to] 0.998). The method was resulted in good separation of both the analytes and degradation products with acceptable tailing and resolution. The peak purity index for both the analytes after all types of stress conditions was [greater than or equal to] 0.9999 indicated a complete separation of both the analyte peaks from degradation products. The method can therefore, be regarded as stabilityindicating. CONCLUSIONS: The developed method can be applied successfully for simultaneous determination of moxifloxacin and prednisolone in pharmaceutical formulations and their stability studies.  相似文献

Posttranslational methylation by S-adenosyl-l-methionine(SAM)-dependent methyltransferases plays essential roles in modulating protein function in both normal and disease states. As such, there is a growing need to develop chemical reporters to examine the physiological and pathological roles of protein methyltransferases. Several sterically bulky SAM analogues have previously been used to label substrates of specific protein methyltransferases. However, broad application of these compounds has been limited by their general incompatibility with native enzymes. Here we report a SAM surrogate, ProSeAM (propargylic Se-adenosyl-l-selenomethionine), as a reporter of methyltransferases. ProSeAM can be processed by multiple protein methyltransferases for substrate labeling. In contrast, sulfur-based propargylic SAM undergoes rapid decomposition at physiological pH, likely via an allene intermediate. In conjunction with fluorescent/affinity-based azide probes, copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition chemistry, in-gel fluorescence visualization and proteomic analysis, we further demonstrated ProSeAM's utility to profile substrates of endogenous methyltransferases in diverse cellular contexts. These results thus feature ProSeAM as a convenient probe to study the activities of endogenous protein methyltransferases.  相似文献

Chitosan–starch blend films (thickness 0.2 mm) of different composition were prepared by casting and their mechanical properties were studied. To improve the properties of chitosan–starch films, glycerol and mustard oil of different composition were used. Chitosan–starch films, incorporated with glycerol and mustard oil, were further modified with monomer 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) using gamma radiation. The modified films showed improvement in both tensile strength and elongation at break than the pure chitosan–starch films. Water uptake of the films reduced significantly than the pure chitosan–starch film. Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) showed that the modified films experience less thermal degradation than the pure films. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and FTIR were used to investigate the morphology and molecular interaction of the blend film, respectively.  相似文献
