A spin-polarized radioactive 123In (I π , g = 1.220(2) , T 1/2 = 5.97(5) s) beam has been successfully generated by the tilted-foil method. This nuclide is the heaviest ever polarized in its ground state by this method. Using the ISOL-based re-acceleration-type facility TRIAC, an 123Ing.s. beam of 305 keV/nucleon went through a stack of 15 carbon foils with a tilt angle of 70° , and an asymmetry of 0.76 ± 0.25% of β-decays was observed by the β-NMR technique. The asymmetry shows that the tilted-foil method combined with a re-acceleration facility is useful for producing spin-polarized beams for applications such as nuclear physics and materials science.  相似文献

By molecular dynamics simulations, the boundary condition for the Boltzmann equation at a vapor-liquid interface is found to be the product of three one-dimensional Maxwellian distributions for the three velocity components of vapor molecules and a factor including a well-defined condensation coefficient. The Maxwellian distribution for the velocity component normal to the interface is characterized by the liquid temperature, as in a conventional model boundary condition, while those for the tangential components are prescribed by a different temperature, which is a linear function of energy flux across the interface. The condensation coefficient is found to be constant and equal to the evaporation coefficient determined by the liquid temperature only.  相似文献

We theoretically and experimentally investigated fundamental characteristics of an integrated optic pressure sensor using intermodal interference between the lowest-order TM-like and TE-like modes. The sensor consists of a rectangular diaphragm and a straight single-mode waveguide along an edge of the diaphragm. Its operation is based on a difference of phase retardations produced in the two guided modes through the photoelastic effect. The sensor was fabricated by bonding two glass substrates together: a Corning 0211 glass 300 μMm thick to form a waveguide and a thick substrate with a 10 mm × 10 mm square hole to define the diaphragm. The fabricated sensor was successfully tested using a He-Ne laser at 633 nm. The halfwave pressure was measured to be 77 kPa which is almost double the theoretical estimate.  相似文献

An ISOL-based radioactive nuclear beam (RNB) facility, Tokai Radioactive Ion Accelerator Complex (TRIAC), has been jointly developed by High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) and Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA). The facility started to supply RNBs for experiments in 2005 and RNBs including fission fragments with energies up to 1.1MeV/A are available in the present. Applying the Galerkin procedure to Marguerre's shallow shell equations, reasonably accurate solutions are obtained for the buckling and postbuckling behavior of clamped shallow spherical shells subjected to external pressure distributed over half the surface.For the geometrical parameter λ smaller than 4.5, the half-loaded shells do not buckle. The buckling loads for 6 ≦ λ ≦ 15 lie about 17–30% below those of uniformly loaded shells. However, the lowest loads after buckling are higher than those for uniformly loading. As λ keeps increasing, the buckling mode shows more and more waves along the circumferential direction. The amplitude of the asymmetrical deflection component Δ1 becomes remarkably large immediately after buckling. After passing the postbuckling lowest equilibrium point, the sinusoidal deflection disappears and the deflection is changed such that only one location on the shell surface, including the non-loaded area, has been deflected almost symmetrically. The effects of initial imperfections are not so great as for the uniformly loaded case.  相似文献

The regiodivergent C?H borylation of 2,5‐disubstituted heteroarenes with bis(pinacolato)diboron was achieved by using iridium catalysts formed in situ from [Ir(OMe)(cod)]2/dtbpy (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene, dtbpy: 4,4′‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine) or [Ir(OMe)(cod)]2/2 AsPh3. When [Ir(OMe)(cod)]2/dtbpy was used as the catalyst, borylation at the 4‐position proceeded selectively to afford 4‐borylated products in high yields (dtbpy system A). The regioselectivity changed when the [Ir(OMe)(cod)]2/2 AsPh3 catalyst was used; 3‐borylated products were obtained in high yields with high regioselectivity (AsPh3 system B). The regioselectivity of borylation was easily controlled by changing the ligands. This reaction was used in the syntheses of two different bioactive compound analogues by using the same starting material.  相似文献

A first-generation strategy for construction of (+)-nodulisporic acids A (1) and B (2) is described. The strategy entails union of the eastern and western hemisphere subtargets via the indole synthesis protocol developed in our laboratory. Subsequent elaboration of rings E and F, however, revealed the considerable acid instability of the C(24) hydroxyl, thereby preventing further advancement. Nonetheless, preparation of the heptacyclic core of (+)-nodulisporic acids A and B, the total synthesis of (+)-nodulisporic acid F, the simplest member of the nodulisporic acid family, and elaboration of the heptacyclic core of (-)-nodulisporic acid D were achieved.  相似文献
