Conjugated polymers gain growing importance as conductive materials in industrial applications in various fields of electronic devices. Cellulose with its extraordinary supramolecular structure and material properties can help to awake the possibilities for conducting polymers in interplay of the two materials. The ability of additional derivatization, the stiff and oriented molecular structure and the inherent strength, stability and film-forming properties give cellulose a complementary role to the brittle conjugated polymers, cellulose imparting the features of a stable and robust carrier component. To go forward this way, making a composite out of cellulose and conducting polymers is a prerequisite. Different strategies to form composite materials of non-derivatized cellulose and conductive organic polymers were tested. Significant differences between various mixing strategies as well as between the conducting polymers polyaniline (PAni), polypyrrole (PPy), and polythiophen (PTh) were observed. In situ synthesis of the conducting polymers in cellulose solutions and microcellulose dispersions as well as blending of pre-synthesized conducting polymers in these cellulose systems were tested. Unexpectedly, not homogenous mixtures showed best results in respect to film formation and conductivity, but composites formed by heterogeneous mixtures of the conducting polymers within a cellulose gel. Best results were obtained with finely dispersed PAni. The results support development studies towards circuitry and photo-current systems based on cellulose carriers.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: Identification of the target proteins of bioactive compounds is critical for elucidating the mode of action; however, target identification has been difficult in general, mostly due to the low sensitivity of detection using affinity chromatography followed by CBB staining and MS/MS analysis. RESULTS: We applied our protocol of predicting target proteins combining in silico screening and experimental verification for incednine, which inhibits the anti-apoptotic function of Bcl-xL by an unknown mechanism. One hundred eighty-two target protein candidates were computationally predicted to bind to incednine by the statistical prediction method, and the predictions were verified by in vitro binding of incednine to seven proteins, whose expression can be confirmed in our cell system. As a result, 40% accuracy of the computational predictions was achieved successfully, and we newly found 3 incednine-binding proteins. CONCLUSIONS: This study revealed that our proposed protocol of predicting target protein combining in silico screening and experimental verification is useful, and provides new insight into a strategy for identifying target proteins of small molecules.  相似文献

A recent paper (Davidovi? et al., J. Heuristics, 18:549?C569, 2012) presented a bee colony metaheuristic for scheduling independent tasks to identical processors, evaluating its performance on a benchmark set of instances from the literature. We examine two exact algorithms from the literature, the former published in 1995, the latter in 2008 (and not cited by the authors). We show that both such algorithms solve to proven optimality all the considered instances in a computing time that is several orders of magnitude smaller than the time taken by the new algorithm to produce an approximate solution.  相似文献

Methods proposed for in vivo redox status estimation, X-band (9.4 GHz) electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) bile flow monitoring (BFM) and 300 MHz in vivo EPR measurement, were compared. The spin probe 3-carbamoyl-2,2,5,5-tetramethylpyrrolidine-1-oxyl (carbamoyl-PROXYL) was utilized for both methods, due to its suitable lipophilicity. EPR signal decay of a nitroxyl spin probe in the bile flow and in the liver region (upper abdomen) of several rat groups with different selenium status were measured by both the BFM and the in vivo EPR method, respectively. The nitroxyl radical clearance measured with in vivo EPR method may be affected not only by the redox status in the liver but also by information from other tissues in the measured region of the rat. On the other hand, the time course of nitroxyl radical level in the bile flow of rats was found to be a reliable index of redox status. Measurement site and/or volume limitation, which was achieved by the BFM method in this paper, is quite important in estimating reasonable EPR signal decay information as an index of tissue/organ redox status.  相似文献

The semiconductor and optical properties of UO2 are investigated. The very long drift carrier lifetimes, obtained from current–voltage I(V) and capacitance–voltage C(V) measurements, along with the well-defined optical properties provide little evidence of an abundance of material defects away from the surface region. Schottky barrier formation may be possible, but very much dependent on the choice of contact and surface stoichiometry and we find that Ohmic contacts are in fact favored. Depth resolved photoemission provided evidence of a chemical shift at the surface. Density functional theory, with the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof (HSE) functional, indicates a band gap of a 2.19 eV and an anti-ferromagnetic ground state. Ellipsometry measurements indicates at UO2 is relatively isotropic with a band gap of approximately 2.0 eV band gap, consistent with theoretical expectations.  相似文献

In this paper we develop an order driver market model with heterogeneous traders that imitate each other on different network structures. We assess how imitations among otherway noise traders, can give rise to well known stylized facts such as fat tails and volatility clustering. We examine the impact of communication and imitation on the statistical properties of prices and order flows when changing the networks’ structure, and show that the imitation of a given, fixed agent, called “guru", can generate clustering of volatility in the model. We also find a positive correlation between volatility and bid-ask spread, and between fat-tailed fluctuations in asset prices and gap sizes in the order book.  相似文献

In the Large Helical Device plasma discharges, the size of an externally imposed island with mode number ( n/m = 1/1) decreases substantially when the plasma is collisionless ( nu(*)< approximately 1) and the beta is finite ( > approximately 0.1%) at the island location. For the collisional plasmas with finite beta, on the other hand, the size of the island increases. However, there is a threshold in terms of the vacuum island size below which the island enlargement is not seen.  相似文献

The energetic proton emission has been investigated as a function of the reaction centrality for the system (58)Ni + (58)Ni at 30A MeV. Extremely energetic protons (E(NN)(p) > or = 130 MeV) were measured and their multiplicity is found to increase almost quadratically with the number of participant nucleons, thus indicating the onset of a mechanism beyond one- and two-body dynamics.  相似文献

A new sampling technique, Headspace Sorptive Extraction (HSSE), is here applied for the first time to the headspace sampling of medicinal and aromatic plants. The analyte partition coefficient between HSSE‐PDMS stir bar and sample headspace (K1), the concentration factor (CF), the reproducibility, and the minimum recoverable amount were determined by analyzing standard solution of high volatility C5–C7 compounds with different polarities and structures (cyclohexane, propyl acetate, hexanal, 1‐hexen‐3‐ol, isoamyl acetate, and 2‐heptanol). Four aromatic and medicinal plants, viz. rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.), sage (Salvia officinalis L.), thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.), and valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.) were analyzed by HSSE‐GC with PDMS stir bars, and their concentration capacity was compared with those of S‐HS and HS‐SPME with different fibers. HSSE showed very high concentration capability with both standard and real sample components.  相似文献

High field magnetization measurements have been performed to examine the existence of itinerant metamagnetism in exchange-enhanced systems related to YCo2 together with Fe1−x CoxSi. In the Y(CoxFex)2 system, the meta magnetism inherent in YCo2 has been observed in 0.04 x0.07. The transition is not as sharp as in the Y(Co1−xAlx)2 system. Other exchange-enhanced paramagnets Y(CoxCux)2 and Y1−xLaxCox2 and weakly itinerant ferromagnet Fe1−xCoxSi exhibit no metamagnetic transition up to 430 kOe.  相似文献
