This paper is concerned with improvements in constraints handling for mixed-integer optimization problems. The novel element is the reduction of the number of binary variables used for expressing the complement of a convex (polytopic) region. As a generalization, the problem of representing the complement of a possibly not connected union of such convex sets is detailed. In order to illustrate the benefits of the proposed improvements, a typical control application, the control of multiagent systems using receding horizon optimization techniques, is considered.  相似文献

Polymer films of some polyimides containing pendant phthalonitrile groups were prepared by casting the corresponding poly(amic acid) solutions onto glass plates, followed by thermal imidization under controlled temperature conditions. The poly(amic acid)s were synthesized by polycondensation reaction of 4,4′‐diamino‐4″‐(3,4‐dicyanophenoxy)triphenylmethane, 1, or of different amounts of 1 and 4,4′‐bis(4‐aminophenoxybiphenyl), with two aromatic dianhydrides, 4,4′‐oxydiphthalic anhydride or benzophenone‐3,3′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylic dianhydride. Most of the films were flexible and tough and exhibited high thermal stability, having the initial decomposition temperature above 400 °C. Dynamic mechanical analysis and dielectric spectroscopy revealed the influence of phthalonitrile group content on the relaxation processes of polyimides. The values of the dielectric constant at 10 kHz and 20 °C were in the range of 3.25–3.61. The films exhibited nano‐actuation in the range of 240–480 nm, depending on the phthalonitrile group content, when an electric voltage was applied on their surface. BiFeO3 epitaxial thin films fabricated by pulsed laser deposition on different scandate substrates were investigated by means of Raman spectroscopy. We observed periodic changes in Raman position, full width at half maximum and intensity for some phonon modes as a function of the azimuthal angle ϕ. Further analysis revealed the possibility to assign the so far controversial discussed Raman modes at low wavenumbers (<250 cm−1) through rotational Raman measurements at different azimuthal angles, which show high sensitivity to the aforementioned parameters. Furthermore, the ferroelectric/ferroelastic domain structure shown by piezo‐response force microscopy investigations of the samples was confirmed. Our results are supported by symmetry‐based calculations including the analysis of Raman scattering geometry as well as the dielectric function of BiFeO3 in the infrared range. Complex oxides demonstrate specific electric and magnetic properties which make them suitable for a wide variety of applications, including dilute magnetic semiconductors for spin electronics. A tin-iron oxide Sn1−xFexO2 nanoparticulate material has been successfully synthesized by using the laser pyrolysis of tetramethyl tin-iron pentacarbonyl-air mixtures. Fe doping of SnO2 nanoparticles has been varied systematically in the 3-10 at% range. As determined by EDAX, the Fe/Sn ratio (in at%) in powders varied between 0.14 and 0.64. XRD studies of Sn1−xFexO2 nanoscale powders, revealed only structurally modified SnO2 due to the incorporation of Fe into the lattice mainly by substitutional changes. The substitution of Fe3+ in the Sn4+ positions (Fe3+ has smaller ionic radius as compared to the ionic radius of 0.69 Å for Sn4+) with the formation of a mixed oxide Sn1−xFexO2 is suggested. A lattice contraction consistent with the determined Fe/Sn atomic ratios was observed. The nanoparticle size decreases with the Fe doping (about 7 nm for the highest Fe content). Temperature dependent 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy data point to the additional presence of defected Fe3+-based oxide nanoclusters with blocking temperatures below 60 K. A new Fe phase presenting magnetic order at substantially higher temperatures was evidenced and assigned to a new type of magnetism relating to the dispersed Fe ions into the SnO2 matrix.  相似文献

The developments concerning new hybrids based on porphyrin derivatives and colloids destined for the detection of ascorbic acid (AA) in the relevant range for medical investigations are presented. Mn(III) tetratolylporphyrin chloride (MnTTPCl), spherical gold colloid (n-Au), and their hybrid (MnTTPCl/n-Au) were chosen to be comparatively investigated by ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy in the presence of AA. The hybrid material (MnTTPCl/n-Au) has the best capacity to detect concentrations of AA in the range of 2.6 × 10?6–4.38 × 10?5 M. Modified glassy carbon (GC) electrodes were obtained by thin film deposition of MnTTPCl, n-Au alone, and in successive mixed thin films, comparing their response during the electrochemical oxidation of AA. The electrocatalytic effect of the MnTTPCl on the AA oxidation is justified both by the increase in the peak current density and by the shift toward more negative potentials (0.024 V). The GC/MnTTPCl electrode has the best electrocatalytic effect for the AA oxidation and is promising for sensor applications.  相似文献

Due to the Balassa–Samuelson effect, the candidate countries to the European Monetary Union face a possible conflict between the effects of tradable productivity increase on inflation and on the appreciation of the real exchange rate on one hand, and the Maastricht criteria regarding inflation and exchange rate stability on the other hand. A restrictive monetary policy could succeed in reaching inflation criteria, but only with the cost of slowing down real convergence. This paper deals with the Balassa–Samuelson effect in Romania. The main conclusion of the paper is that in the period 1998–2006 the average annual rate of inflation generated by the Balassa–Samuelson effect in Romania was on average 0.6% in the case of the classical model. Due to the existence of government-regulated prices (mostly non-tradable goods) accounting for as much as 21% of the CPI basket in Romania – the price of non-tradables has increased by less than in the case those prices were market prices. If we include these regulated prices in non-tradable, which is named by us extended model, the impact of Balassa–Samuelson on inflation could have been on average 2.46%. Therefore, the Balassa–Samuelson effect is expected to result into higher inflation with future price liberalization for non-tradables.  相似文献

Layers of the DNA bases adenine, cytosine, and guanine were deposited onto hydrogen passivated Si(1 1 1) surfaces. The average tilt angles of these molecules with respect to the substrate surface were determined by the angular dependence of the Near Edge X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (NEXAFS) of the carbon K-edge. The interpretation of the NEXAFS spectra was assisted by a semi-empirical approach to the calculation of the π-transition region which employs density functional theory calculations and core level photoemission data.  相似文献

Unsaturated macromolecular carboxybetaines were obtained by reaction of poly(4-vinylpyridine) and poly(N-vinylimidazole) with propiolic acid. A kinetic model was presented for 4-methylpyridine. It consists of three coupled reactions: neutralization, addition which involves two molecules of acid and leads to a cation–anion pair structure, where the cation results from the addition of the amine nitrogen to the triple bond of acid, and an equilibrium reaction between the ion-pair structure and the betaine structure. The addition rate was found to be higher for poly(4-vinylpyridine) than for poly(N-vinylimidazole); it was also higher in water than in a water–methanol mixture. The reaction with acetylenedicarboxylic acid was carried out on poly(N-vinylimidazole), but the transformed units showed the structure that results from propiolic acid. The betaine products from 4-methylpyridine did not polymerize by radical initiation. The polymeric products show characteristics of photocrosslinking polymers. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
