In this framework, the novel analytical approach is presented to predict the dual solutions of Jeffery–Hamel (JH) transport model utilizing KKL (Koo–Kleinstreuer–Li) Al2O3 model with magnetic field, Ohmic heating and viscous dissipation. The predictor homotopy analysis method (PHAM) is applied to realize the existence of multiple solutions (bifurcation) for stretching/shrinking parameter and channel angle. It is observed that the dual solutions exist only for convergent channel. The eigenvalue problem is constructed to perform stability analysis which shows the physically stability of the upper branch. A numerical validation with Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg (RKF) shooting method using MATLAB is also carried out for verification. The Reynolds number is responsible to increase the velocity of fluid for both branches of the solution. For the increasing values of Ec and M, the Nusselt number decreases and increases respectively. 相似文献

The magnetorheological suspension (MRS) brake is of the monoblock type. The main part of the electromagnetic brake is an electromagnet, between whose poles two MRS disks are placed. For distances between disks of 0.65×10−3 m±10%, revolutions of the electric motor, coupled to the electromagnetic brake, ranging between 200 and 1600 rev/min and braking powers of up to 85 W, there are no differences in revolutions between the disks of the electromagnetic brake. For fixed revolutions of the electric motor, the revolution of the parallel disk can be modified continuously by means of the intensity of the magnetic field. A new sensitive spectrophotometric method has recently been developed for the trace determination of cyanide with ninhydrin. Cyanide ion was supposed to act as a specific base catalyst. Nevertheless, this paper demonstrates that the reported assay is based on a novel reaction of cyanide with 2,2-dihydroxy-1,3-indanedione, which affords purple or blue colored salts of 2-cyano-1,2,3-trihydroxy-2H indene. Hydrindantin is merely an intermediary of the reaction. The formation of a stable and isolable ninhydrin-cyanide compound has been confirmed by its preparation in crystalline form. Also, it is thoroughly characterized by elemental as well as MS, IR, UV/VIS and 1H NMR analyses. The Ruhemann's sequence of reactions of cyanide with ninhydrin has been reconsidered and an adequate mechanism of the reaction is proposed. As a consequence, the interference of oxidizers as well as copper, silver and mercury ions with the cyanide determination has been elucidated. 相似文献

This paper deals with a theoretical (numerical) analysis of the effects that blowing/injection and suction have on the steady mixed convection or combined forced and free convection boundary layer flows over a vertical slender cylinder with a mainstream velocity and a wall surface temperature proportional to the axial distance along the surface of the cylinder. Both cases of buoyancy forces aid and oppose the development of the boundary layer are considered. Similarity equations are derived and their solutions are dependent upon the mixed convection parameter, the non-dimensional transpiration parameter and the curvature parameter, as well as of the Prandtl number. The variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectra of the hydride 3 in C(6)D(6), C(6)D(5)CD(3), or (CD(3))(2)SO show that the pyramidal configuration on antimony is stable up to 100 degrees C, whereas inversion at the nitrogen is not prevented by internal coordination even at -80 degrees C. The crystals of 1, 2, 4, and 5 consist of discrete molecules with the Sb and Bi atoms in an approximately Psi-trigonal-bipyramidal environment in the cases of 1 and 2 and in a pyramidal environment in the cases of 4 and 5.
