Visible light irradiation of a reaction mixture of carbonyl-coordinated tetra(2,4,6-trimethyl)phenylporphyrinatoruthenium(II) (Ru(II)TMP(CO)) as a photosensitizer, hexachloroplatinate(IV) as an electron acceptor, and an alkene in alkaline aqueous acetonitrile induces selective epoxidation of the alkene with high quantum yield (Phi = 0.6, selectivity = 94.4% for cyclohexene and Phi = 0.4, selectivity = 99.7% for norbornene) under degassed conditions. The oxygen atom of the epoxide was confirmed to come from a water molecule by an experiment with H(2)(18)O. cis-Stilbene was converted into its epoxide, cis-stilbeneoxide, without forming trans-stilbeneoxide. trans-Stilbene, however, did not exhibit any reactivity. Under neutral conditions, an efficient buildup of the cation radical of Ru(II)TMP(CO) was observed at the early stage of the photoreaction, while an addition of hydroxide ion caused a rapid reaction with the cation radical to promote the reaction with reversion to the starting Ru(II)TMP(CO). A possible involvement of a higher oxidized state of Ru such as Ru(IV), Ru(V), Ru(VI) through a dismutation of the Ru(III) species was excluded by an experiment with Ru(VI)TMP(O)(2). Decarbonylation of the Ru complex was also proven to be invalid. A reaction mechanism involving an electron transfer from the excited triplet state of Ru(II)TMP(CO) to hexachloroplatinate(IV) and subsequent formation of OH(-)-coordinated Ru(III) species, leading to an oxo-ruthenium complex as the key intermediate of the photochemical epoxidation, was postulated.  相似文献

We report herein a practical synthesis of 4'-thiothymidine (15) and appropriately protected 2'-deoxy-4'-thiocytidine (16), -thioadenosine (27), and -thioguanosine (29) derivatives, substrates for the synthesis of 4'-thioDNA, from the corresponding 4'-thioribonucleosides. 2'-deoxy-4'-thiopyrimidine nucleosides were synthesized using a radical reaction of the corresponding 2'-alpha-bromo derivatives, which were prepared via 2,2'-O-anhydro derivatives. 2'-deoxy-4'-thiopurine nucleosides were synthesized using the same radical reaction of the corresponding 2'-beta-bromo derivatives.  相似文献

In the radical polymerization of methylmethacrylate in the presence of p-phenyldichlorophosphine, the initial rate and degree of polymerization increased with polymerization time. They first decreased with increase in the phosphine concentration but increased with further increase in the phosphine concentration. Termination was first order with respect to the initiator. The degree of polymerization was independent of the initiator concentration, but dependent on the conversion. The polymer contained no phosphorus units regardless of the phosphine concentration. The ESR spectra of system showed existence of a phosphorus radical. In order to explain these characteristics of the polymerization, it is proposed that there may be a nonstationary state in which the polymer radicals are regenerated during the polymerization from the phosphoranyl radicals.  相似文献

Complexation mechanism, binding properties and thermodynamic parameters of supramolecular chirality induction in the achiral host molecule, syn (face-to-face conformation) ethane-bridged bis(zinc porphyrin), upon interaction with chiral monoamine and monoalcohol guests have been studied by means of the UV-vis, CD, (1)H NMR, and ESI MS techniques. It was found that the chirogenesis process includes three major equilibria steps: the first guest ligation to a zinc porphyrin subunit of the host (K(1)), syn to anti conformational switching (K(S)), and further ligation by a second guest molecule to the remaining ligand-free zinc porphyrin subunit (K(2)), thus forming the final bis-ligated species possessing supramolecular chirality. The validity of this equilibria model is confirmed by the excellent match between the calculated and experimentally observed spectral parameters of the bis-ligated species. The second ligation proceeds in a cooperative manner as K(2) > K(1) for all supramolecular systems studied, regardless of the structure of the chiral ligand used. The binding properties are highly dependent on the nature of the functional group (amines are stronger binders than alcohols) and on the structure of the chiral guests (primary and aliphatic amines have overall binding constant values greater than those of secondary and aromatic amines, respectively).  相似文献

Highly conjugated monomers, 7,7,8,8-tetrakis(alkoxycarbonyl)quinodimethanes (methoxy (1a), ethoxy (1b), isopropoxy (1c), benzyloxy (1d), chloroethoxy (1e), and bromoethoxy (1f)), were synthesized. Recrystallizations of 1a, 1c, 1e, and 1f yielded two crystal forms (prisms (1a-A) and needles (1a-B), needles (1c-A) and plates (1c-B), prisms (1e-A) and plates (1e-B), and prisms (1f-A) and needles (1f-B)), which have different molecular packing modes by X-ray crystal structure analysis, indicating that the crystals are polymorphic. In the photopolymerizations of these monomer crystals in the solid state, 1a-A, 1e-A, and 1f-A polymerized topochemically to give crystalline polymers. For their thermal polymerizations in the solid state, in addition to 1a-A, 1e-A, and 1f-A, 1e-B and 1f-B polymerized, but polymers formed from the 1e-B and 1f-B were amorphous. The packing of quinodimethane molecules in the crystals was defined by four kinds of parameters, stacking distance (d(s)), the distance between the reacting exomethylene carbon atoms (d(cc)), the angles formed between the stacking axis and longer axis of the monomer molecule (theta(1)), and the shorter axis of the monomer molecule (theta(2)), and then the polymerization reactivity of these quinodimethanes in the solid state was discussed on the basis of these parameters.  相似文献

Au particles dispersed thin metal oxide films were prepared from precursor films containing HAuCl4 with H2S gas diffusion method. HAuCl4 was uniformly dissolved in the films as promoted by hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC). The mechanism of the Au particle formation was studied. It was found that HAuCl4 was converted directly to Au metal particles upon contacting with H2S gas. Au particles generated by this method were characterized with small particle size, sharp size distribution and high volume fraction in the films. The surface plasma resonance absorption of Au particles shifted to longer wavelength when TiO2 component was introduced in the matrix.  相似文献
