We study certain moduli spaces of stable vector bundles of rank 2 on cubic and quartic threefolds. In many cases under consideration, it turns out that the moduli space is complete and irreducible and a general member has vanishing intermediate cohomology. Let Mξ(r) denote the moduli space of stable vector bundles over X of rank r and determinant ξ. The Fourier-Mukai transform, with respect to a Poincaré line bundle on X×J(X), of any FMξ(r) is a stable vector bundle on J(X). The bandwidth packing problem is defined as the selection and routing of messages from a given list of messages with prespecified requirements on demand for bandwidth. The messages have to be routed over a network with given topology so that the generated revenue is maximized. Messages to be routed are classified into two priority classes. An integer programming based formulation of this problem is proposed and a Lagrangean relaxation based methodology is described for solving this problem. A general purpose heuristic is then developed for generating feasible solutions of good quality. Several numerical experiments are conducted using a number of problem parameters such as number of messages, ratio of messages for lower and higher priority classes, capacity of links, and demand distribution of messages belonging to different classes and high quality solutions to the priority bandwidth packing problem are generated under the different situations.  相似文献

Lie’s method of differential equation is used to obtain the one-parameter Lie groups admitted by the time-dependent Schrödinger equations for atoms, molecules and nucleons in harmonic oscillator field. This group for atoms and molecules is isomorphic to 10-parameter inhomogeneous orthogonal group in 4 dimensions, irrespective of the numbers of nuclei and electrons. For Z protons andN neutrons in a harmonic oscillator field, both isotropic and anisotropic, the r-parameter Lie groups are seraidirect products of an invariant subgroup and a factor group. In the case of isotropic oscillator field r is 1/2[3Z(3Z-1) +3N (3N -1)+2], while for the anisotropic oscillator field r is 1/2[3Z (Z+1)+3N(JV+1)+2].  相似文献

CdS is a large band gap material compared to HgS. Both are interesting from academic and technological points of view. The nanodispersions (colloids) of CdS and HgS as well their core-shell products and composites (co-colloids) were prepared by varied modes of precursor addition in micellar solution of cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). Fix a C principal G–bundle E0G{E^0_G} on a compact connected Riemann surface X, where G is a connected complex reductive linear algebraic group. We consider the gradient flow of the Yang–Mills–Higgs functional on the cotangent bundle of the space of all smooth connections on E0G{E^0_G}. We prove that this flow preserves the subset of Higgs G–bundles, and, furthermore, the flow emanating from any point of this subset has a limit. Given a Higgs G–bundle, we identify the limit point of the integral curve passing through it. These generalize the results of the second named author on Higgs vector bundles.  相似文献

The P and M enantiomers of the octanuclear [Fe84‐O)4(μ‐4‐Cl‐pz)12Cl4] complex, having T symmetry, were resolved by temporary substitution of chloride ligands by racemic 4‐sBu‐phenolates and subsequent crystallization, where the (S)‐ and (R)‐phenolates coordinate selectively to the M and P complexes, respectively. The complexes were characterized by circular dichroism analysis and X‐ray structure determination. This work constitutes a rare example of enantiomeric recognition resulting in spontaneous resolution upon crystallization.  相似文献

Financial systems are known to have irregular and erratic fluctuations due to diverse influences and often result in economic crisis and huge financial losses. Recent models of financial systems show that they behave chaotically and have long range memory dependence. Mitigating these undesirable chaotic natures of financial systems by appropriate control policies is important in order to reduce investment risks and improve economic performance. In this paper, a fractional order fuzzy control policy is employed to suppress the chaotic dynamics of a representative chaotic fractional order financial system. An intelligent Regrouping Particle Swarm Optimization (Reg-PSO) is used to design the numeric weights of the control policy and the methodology is demonstrated by credible simulations. The designed fractional fuzzy control policies are shown to work well with respect to conventional fuzzy control policies in the presence of persistent and anti-persistent noise, which can be due to additional extraneous influences on the system.  相似文献
