The anodic oxidation of the 4,4′-dimethoxychalcone (DMC) was investigated by different electrochemical methods at a platinum working electrode and in acetonitrile as a solvent. The DMC exhibited a single irreversible anodic peak around 1.6 V versus Ag/AgCl. On the time scale of cyclic voltammetry experiments, the highly reactive radical cation issued from the first electron transfer underwent a second order rate-limiting reaction. The potential imposed electrolyses of DMC led to the formation of a semi-conducting oligomer with 40 % yield. Using different physico-chemicals methods, the structural study confirmed the formation of an o-phenylenevinylene oligomer. The values of the corresponding optical and electrochemical band gaps were calculated to be 3.15 and 2.86 eV, respectively. Finally, a mechanism for the DMC electro-oligomerization was proposed on the basis of the obtained results. 相似文献

In this work we study the some general fractal sums of pulses defined in ? by: $$F(t) =\sum^{+\infty}_{n=1}a_nG(\lambda_n^{-1}(t-X_n))$$ where (a n ), (λ n ) two positive scalar sequences such that ∑a n is divergent, and (λ n ) is non-increasing to 0, G is an elementary bump and X n are independent random variables uniformly distributed on a sufficiently large domain Ω. We investigate the Hausdorff dimension of the graph of G and in particular we answer a question given by Tricot in (Courbes et dimensions fractales, Springer, Berlin, 1995). 相似文献

In this study, essential oil and various extracts (hexane, petroleum ether, acetone, ethanol, methanol and water) of Eucalyptus gilii were screened for their chemical composition, antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. The essential oil chemical composition was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID), respectively. Thirty four compounds were identified, corresponding to 99.5% of the total essential oil. Tannins [104.9-251.3 g catechin equivalent (CE)/Kg dry mass], flavonoids [3.3-34.3 g quercetin equivalent (QE)/Kg dry mass], phenolics [4.7-216.6 g gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/Kg dry mass] and anthocyannins [1.2-45.3 mg cyanidin-3-glucoside equivalent (C3GE)/Kg dry mass] of various extracts were investigated. Free radical scavenging capacity of all samples was determinedt. In the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay, the IC50 of essential oil was 163.5 ± 10.7 mg/L and in the 2,2'-azinobis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonate (ABTS) assay, it was 94.7 ± 7.1 mg/L. Among the various extracts, the water extract showed the best result (IC50 = 11.4 ± 0.6 mg/L) in the DPPH assay which was comparable to vitamin C (IC50 = 4.4 ± 0.2 mg/L). The antimicrobial activities were evaluated against different bacterial and fungal strains. Gram positive bacteria were found to be more sensitive to the essential oil and extracts than Gram negative ones. Anthocyanins seem to have a major effect on the growth of Bacillus subtilis (R2 = 0.79). A significant antifungal activity was observed against the yeast and fungi. Correlations between chemical composition and antioxidant activities were studied and R2 values were about 0.96 for the effect of phenolics on the DPPH assay. 相似文献

Two new monoterpene Ducrosin A (1) and sesquiterpene Ducrosin B (2) were isolated along with three known compounds, stigmasterol (3) and two furanocoumarins (4 and 5), from the dichloromethane extract of the seeds of Ducrosia anethifolia (DC.) Boiss. Their structures were determined using extensive 1D and 2D NMR, (ES)-HRMS and IR spectroscopic analyses and by comparison with literature data. Gas chromatography analysis of the fatty acids (FAs) of D. anethifolia seed oils (DAOs) showed high percentages of elaidic acid (C18:1 Δ9t) 65% and oleic acid (C18:1 Δ9c) 15%. The total tocopherol (tocols) content in DAOs was found to be 164 mg/100 g. The cytotoxic effect of the isolates was also evaluated using the MTT assay against the HCT-116 and SKOV-3 cell lines. The results showed that compound 2 was the most cytotoxic agent followed by compounds 1 and 4, which has an epoxide moiety that most likely contributes to its activity. 相似文献

Photoresponsive polyamides containing main‐chain pentamethylated norbornadiene (NBD) moieties are obtained in quantitative yields via the Yamazaki–Higashi reaction between a pentamethylated NBD dicarboxylic acid and a series of aromatic diamines. Chemical structures are confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR and weight average molar masses measured by SEC are in the range of 21,500–28,600 g mol?1 with chain dispersities close to 2. Physical properties are investigated by FTIR, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis, and viscosimetry. All obtained polyamides are amorphous with glass transition temperatures ranging from 68 to 124 °C. They are soluble at room temperature in common organic solvents and exhibit good thermal stabilities with Td10 values ranging from 175 to 276 °C. The photochemical isomerization of the NBD moiety into quadricyclane (QC) is studied by UV/vis spectroscopy after sunlight irradiation of polymer films. For all polyamides, a first‐order kinetic rate is observed for the conversion of NBD to QC. The thermal release of the stored energy associated to the reverse transformation of QC groups into NBD ones is about 90–95 kJ mol?1 as measured by DSC of the irradiated polymer films. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper deals with the homogenization of a class of nonlinear elliptic problems with quadratic growth in a periodically perforated domain. The authors prescribe a Dirichlet condition on the exterior boundary and a nonhomogeneous nonlinear Robin condition on the boundary of the holes. The main difficulty, when passing to the limit, is that the solution of the problems converges neither strongly in L~2(Ω) nor almost everywhere in Ω. A new convergence result involving nonlinear functions provides suitable weak convergence results which permit passing to the limit without using any extension operator.Consequently, using a corrector result proved in [Chourabi, I. and Donato, P., Homogenization and correctors of a class of elliptic problems in perforated domains, Asymptotic Analysis, 92(1), 2015, 1–43, DOI: 10.3233/ASY-151288], the authors describe the limit problem, presenting a limit nonlinearity which is different for the two cases, that of a Neumann datum with a nonzero average and with a zero average. 相似文献

The present work describes the chemical composition and evaluates the antimicrobial and the anti-acetylcholinesterase properties of the flower oil from the Tunisian Ferula lutea obtained by hydrodistillation and analyzed by combination of GC/FID and GC/MS. The chemical composition of the flower oil of this species is reported for the first time. Seventeen compounds were identified accounting for 94.3% of the total oil. The chemical composition of this essential oil was characterized by a high proportion of monoterpene hydrocarbons (80.4%) among which delta-3-carene (31.2%) and alpha-pinene (25.8%) were the predominant compounds. The oxygenated monoterpenes represent the second major fraction (12.0%), 2,3,6-trimethylbenzaldehyde (10.9%) being the predominant one. Furthermore, the isolated oil was tested for its antimicrobial activity using the disc-diffusion and the microdilution assays against six Gram-positive and five Gram-negative bacteria as well as towards eight Candida species. It was found that flower oil of F. lutea exhibited interesting antibacterial and anticandidal activity (MIC = 39 mcirog/mL against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and S. epidermidis and MIC = 156 microg/mL against Candida albicans). The anti-acetylcholinesterase effect of this oil was also evaluated in this work. Results showed that this oil exhibits significant activity (IC50 =70.25 +/- 5.41 microg/mL). 相似文献

A mixed-metal Lindqvist-type heteropolyanion of organic cation; (C8H14N2)2[V2W4O19]?2H2O (m-XDAV2W4) has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by means ICP and elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, IR, UV–Vis, luminescence and biological analyses. The X-ray structural analysis supported by a detailed Hirshfeld surface analysis and fingerprint plots has been elucidated the different inter-contacts in the crystal structure mainly associated with O…H/H…O close contacts between [V2W4O19]4? (V2W4) clusters, water molecules and m-xylylenediammonium entities so stabilizing the 3D-supramolecular structure. The optical survey reveals an important HOMO–LUMO band gap indicating stability and blue luminescent behavior of reported material. Moreover, the biological trials indicated that this compound displays promising antibacterial and antifungal activities. 相似文献
