We have successfully demonstrated a novel sensing technique for monitoring the variation of solution concentrations and measuring the effective dielectric constant in a medium by means of an ultra-small and label-free nanosensor, the mechanism of which is based on the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of gold nanorods. The nanorods are fabricated in a narrow size distribution, which is characterized by transmission electron microscopy and optical absorption spectroscopy. In addition, we employ a simple analytical calculation to examine the LSPR band of the absorption spectrum, which provides excellent consistency with aspect ratio. The plasmonic sensing is performed by detecting the diffusion process and saturation concentration of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide in water, and tracing the effective dielectric constants of the medium simultaneously. This promising sensing and analytical technique can be easily used for investigating the nano-scale variations of mixing or reaction process in a micro/nanofluidic channel or the biological interaction in the cytoplasm of the cell.  相似文献

We applied the combination of AgOAc with ThioClickFerrophos, the chiral ferrocenyl triazole-based P,S-ligand, to the reaction of glycine imino ester with nitroalkenes. The conjugate addition of the imino methyl ester preferentially produced anti-α-imino-γ-nitrobutyrates in good yields with high enantioselectivities (ee) of up to 99% at -25 °C in THF in the presence of triethylamine. Meanwhile, the pyrrolidine cycloadducts were obtained as major products in good yields with high enantioselectivities (up to 96% ee) using tert-butyl imino ester in the absence of triethylamine at room temperature.  相似文献

Pt nanoparticles (PtNPs) were synthesized in the presence of a NH(2)-terminated fourth generation poly(amido amine) (PAMAM) dendrimer as a stabilizer at different molar ratios (M:D) of metal precursor to amine terminal group of dendrimer. Subsequently, PtNPs protected by dendrimers (DENPtNPs) were covalently immobilized on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) by using a condensing agent for amide bond formation between acid-treated MWCNTs and DENPtNPs and the product CNT/DENPtNPs were characterized. PtNPs on MWCNTs increased quantitatively in content with M:D and dispersed with same aspect as the dispersion of DENPtNPs in water: PtNPs homogeneously dispersed at low M:D ratio and slightly aggregated at high ratio. The decomposition of CNT/DENPtNPs occurred at the lower temperature owing to the catalytic effect of PtNPs. A near-infrared absorption band around 2083 nm, which is extremely weak for MWCNTs, was intensified and D, D' and G Raman bands were slightly downshifted when DENPtNPs were attached. These phenomena can be attributed to the electron transfer from DENPtNPs to MWCNTs. Remarkable advantage is apparent from the enhanced electrochemical behavior of CNT/DENPtNPs loaded on gold electrode. PtNPs promoted the electron transfer of MWCNTs and dendrimers contributed to uptake of redox materials.  相似文献

Adsorption behaviors of functional poly(amido amine) dendrimers with an azacrown core and long alkyl chain spacers were investigated on gold and self-assembled monolayer (SAM) by means of time course attenuated total reflection-surface enhanced infrared absorption and surface plasmon resonance spectroscopies. While 1.5th and 2.5th generation (G1.5 and G2.5) ester-terminated dendrimers were slightly adsorbed on all substrates examined, the adsorption of G2 amine-terminated dendrimer increased in the order dodecanethiol SAM相似文献

Micrometer-sized, hemispherical polystyrene (PS) particles were successfully prepared by microsuspension polymerization of homogeneous styrene/hexadecane (HD) droplets dispersed in polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether (Emulgen 931) aqueous solution, followed by rapid removal of HD from formed PS/HD particles with a “Janus” structure. It was important for the formation of the morphology of Janus particles in thermodynamically stable state to carry out the polymerization slowly. The formation of by-product small PS particles by emulsion polymerization was suppressed by the additions of CuCl2 as a water-soluble inhibitor and NaCl to decrease the solubility of styrene in the aqueous phase.  相似文献

A novel synthesis of "hairy urchin"-shaped polyaniline (PAni) and its surface coverage with nanospikes was achieved from a simple microemulsion polymerization technique in the presence of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD). The rodlike micelle phase was characterized, and the key factors affecting the formation of PAni nanostructures were systematically examined. Ferric chloride (FeCl(3)) has played a role as a structural directing agent to fabricate the polymer as hairy urchin-like structure/nanorods via a cooperative interaction between FeCl(3) and DoTAC in an aqueous medium. Host-guest inclusion complex of β-cyclodextrin with aniline was used as a monomer. It has been revealed that the formation of the supramolecular complexes of polyaniline with β-CD due to host-guest interaction is indispensable for the fabrication of these unique PAni nanostructures, and a suitable β-CD to aniline molar ratio is essential to their exclusive formation. Different varieties of PAni nanostructures such as hairy urchin, branched particles consisting of rodlike branches, and regular rodlike particles were obtained in the presence of FeCl(3). Also, in the absence of FeCl(3), a predominant product of regular spherical particles and wirelike aggregation exhibiting faceted surfaces were obtained. The structures of polyaniline hairy urchin-like nanorods were analyzed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The synthesized polymer was characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction technique. Additionally, the relationship between the morphology and the conductivity of the PAni nanostructures was investigated as well.  相似文献

Local interaction imaging of cleaved InAs surface (110) using a high aspect ratio (HAR) SiGe quantum dot (QD) probe was demonstrated by frequency-modulation mode noncontact atomic force microscopy under atmospheric pressure. The local contrast image with pronounced brightness is mainly attributed to no contact potential difference between the HAR SiGe-QD probe apex and the sample surface, and low frequency-change of the HAR SiGe-QD probe.  相似文献

The unprecedented synthesis of regioregular head‐to‐tail‐type poly(1,4‐arylene)s bearing different substituents at the 2‐ and 5‐positions is described. They were prepared by the polymerization of 2,5‐disubstituted bromo(chloro)arylenes by selective halogen–metal exchange with a Grignard reagent and subsequent cross‐coupling polymerization with a nickel catalyst [NiCl2(dppp)]. Formation of the regioregular poly(1,4‐arylene)s were confirmed by NMR spectroscopy, and showed remarkable differences to those polymers having uncontrolled regioregularity. Polymerization of bromo(chloro)arylenes with a chiral alkoxy substituent also led to the regioregular head‐to‐tail‐type polyarylene, which demonstrated circular dichroism, thus suggesting formation of a structure with higher‐order regularity.  相似文献

The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of three kinds of poly(methyl methacrylate)-based copolymer emulsions having wide polymer compositions, which were prepared by emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerizations of methyl methacryalate with ethyl acrylate, n-buthyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid, were measured with a power compensation-type highly sensitive differential scanning calorimeter. The Tg values of the copolymers in their emulsion state (Tg E) were always lower than those in their dry states (Tg D), and the difference between Tg E and Tg D increased with an increase in copolymer hydrophilicities.Part CCLIII of the series Studies on Suspension and Emulsion  相似文献
