The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the taste and smell of Tulobuterol Dry Syrup (TB-DS) in its original form (formulation A) and generic form (formulations B and C) by means of gustatory sensation tests and taste and smell sensors. In addition, the physicochemical properties of the syrups in a solid state were compared. Evaluation of sweetness with a powdered sample revealed significant differences between formulation A and formulation B and between formulation B and formulation C. In contrast, the results of principal component analysis (PCA) with a taste sensor revealed differences in principal component 1 (PC 1) among formulations A, B, and C. Smell sensor measurement of powdered samples revealed differences in products in terms of only PC 1, but these results were not related to the results of gustatory sensation testing with a smell sensor. Measurement of particle size distribution and scanning electron microscopy revealed differences in the particle diameter and particle surface shape for each product. Formulation B had the strongest absorption in the near-infrared spectrum, followed by formulation A and then formulation C. Accordingly, differences in preparations were presumably caused by variations in manufacturing specifications, such as types of additives and their content and coating methods used. In other words, the characteristics of each product were revealed by evaluation of their physical properties, sensing of taste and smell, and human gustatory sensation tests.  相似文献

(±)-8-Deisopropyladunctin B, the deisopropyl form of adunctin B, which was isolated from the leaves of Piper aduncum (Piperaceae) collected in Papua New Guinea, was synthesized in 0.77% overall yield in 17 steps from 5,7-dimethoxycoumarin-3-carboxylate. The key step was our original stereoconvergent skeleton transformation from 1,2,2a,8b-tetrahydro-3H-benzo[b]cyclobuta[d]pyran-3-one to 1,2,4a,9b-tetrahydrodibenzofuran-4-ol with dimethylsulfoxonium methylide.  相似文献

A commercial scale plant using electron beam irradiation was constructed to clean the flue gas from a coal fired thermal power plant at Chengdu in China. Operations began in September 1997 and the plant achieved its design performance with the satisfactory recovery of by-product fertilizer for agricultural use. Another commercial plant is now under construction at Nagoya, Japan and the operation will be started in November, 1999.  相似文献

Fiber-packed sample preparation device was applied to the simultaneous derivatization/preconcentration of ethylene oxide (EO) in air samples. The polymer-coated filaments were packed longitudinally into the needle, and hydrogen bromide (HBr) was loaded onto the filaments in the preconditioning process. Simultaneous derivatization with HBr in the needle was made during the sampling process of the gaseous EO, and the corresponding derivatized analyte, 2-bromoethanol, was desorbed by passing a small amount of methanol through the extraction needle in the heated gas chromatograph (GC) injector. The basic extraction/desorption parameters for EO have been evaluated. The limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ) and the relative standard deviation (RSD) of run-to-run repeatability were 1.8 ng/L, 5.4 ng/L and less than 4%, respectively, with an extraction time of about 10 min. Satisfactory storage performance for three days at room temperature was also confirmed.  相似文献

Let it flow, let it flow : A procedure to generate the first solid‐supported mercuric salt, silaphenylmercuric triflate, is described. Silaphenylmercuric triflate showed remarkable catalytic activity for an indole synthesis, furanoyne cyclization, arylyne cyclization, and tandem carbocyclizations. An efficient flow reaction system for indole synthesis and arylyne cyclization is also described (see figure).

A laser flash photolysis-laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) technique has been employed to study the relaxation kinetics of vibrationally excited O2(X 3sigma(g)-. The time-resolved LIF excited B 3sigma(u)(-)-X 3sigma(g)- system has been recorded and analyzed by the integrated-profiles method. The rate coefficient for vibrational relaxation of O2(X 3sigma(g)-, nu = 8) by collisions with CF(4), [1.4 +/- 0.3(2sigma)] x 10(-11) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1), indicates that CF4 is an efficient relaxant of O2(X 3sigma(g)- and that the propensity rule for O2 relaxation suggested by Mack et al. (J. A. Mack, K. Mikulecky and A. M. Wodtke, J. Chem. Phys., 1996, 105, 4105) has been observed experimentally.  相似文献

A new process has been developed for the iridium(I)‐catalyzed vinylic C?H borylation of α,β‐unsaturated esters with bis(pinacolato)diboron (B2pin2). These reactions proceeded in octane at temperatures in the range of 80–120 °C to afford the corresponding alkenylboronic compounds in high yields with excellent regio‐ and stereoselectivities. The presence of an aryl ester led to significant improvements in the yields of the acyclic alkenylboronates. Crossover experiments involving deuterated substrates as well as a mixture of stereoisomers confirmed that this reaction proceeds via a 1,4‐addition/β‐hydride elimination mechanism. Notably, this reaction was also used to develop a one‐pot borylation/Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling procedure.  相似文献

Electronic structure of carbon nanowalls (CNW) was measured by ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) in comparison with highly oriented pyrolitic graphite (HOPG). While the interlayer band of CNWs was observed at same energy of that in HOPG, the σ and π bands were observed as are in carbon nanotubes. Electronic effects by deuterium adsorption were investigated by combination of UPS and temperature programmed desorption (TPD) measurements. Deuterium adsorption preferably occurred in the boundary regions between crystallites in CNWs and enhanced the density of states associated with them.  相似文献

Bats can form a fine acoustic image of an object using frequency-modulated echolocation sound. The acoustic image is an impulse response, known as a reflected-intensity distribution, which is composed of amplitude and phase spectra over a range of frequencies. However, bats detect only the amplitude spectrum due to the low-time resolution of their peripheral auditory system, and the frequency range of emission is restricted. It is therefore necessary to restore the acoustic image from limited information. The amplitude spectrum varies with the changes in the configuration of the reflected-intensity distribution, while the phase spectrum varies with the changes in its configuration and location. Here, by introducing some reasonable constraints, a method is proposed for restoring an acoustic image from the echo. The configuration is extrapolated from the amplitude spectrum of the restricted frequency range by using the continuity condition of the amplitude spectrum at the minimum frequency of the emission and the minimum phase condition. The determination of the location requires extracting the amplitude spectra, which vary with its location. For this purpose, the Gaussian chirplets with a carrier frequency compatible with bat emission sweep rates were used. The location is estimated from the temporal changes of the amplitude spectra.  相似文献

A convenient method for the synthesis of 3-acyl-1,2-benzisoxazoles, which are unstable toward bases, is described. Base-catalyzed cyclization of 2-alkyl- and aryl-1,3-dithian-2-yl o-chlorophenylketoximes 4a-1 gave 3-(2-alkyl- and aryl-1,3-dithian-2-yl)-1,2-benzisoxazoles 8a-1 , which were converted into the corresponding 3-acyl-1,2-benzisoxazoles 1a-1.  相似文献
