A survey of several electrophilic ammonia reagents for the N-amination of indole- and pyrrole-containing heterocycles revealed that monochloramine (NH(2)Cl) is an excellent reagent for this transformation. Pyrroles and indoles containing a variety of substitution were aminated on nitrogen with isolated yields ranging from 45% to 97%.  相似文献

The connection between diffusion and solvent exchanges between first and second solvation shells is studied by means of molecular dynamics simulations and analytic calculations, with detailed illustrations for water exchange for the Li(+) and Na(+) ions, and for liquid argon. First, two methods are proposed which allow, by means of simulation, to extract the quantitative speed-up in diffusion induced by the exchange events. Second, it is shown by simple kinematic considerations that the instantaneous velocity of the solute conditions to a considerable extent the character of the exchanges. Analytic formulas are derived which quantitatively estimate this effect, and which are of general applicability to molecular diffusion in any thermal fluid. Despite the simplicity of the kinematic considerations, they are shown to well describe many aspects of solvent exchange/diffusion coupling features for nontrivial systems.  相似文献

A formalism developed for the treatment of chainlike models of reaction dynamics is applied to simple reacting systems and generalized to treat a reaction with a branching process. A pulsed laser photolysis-pulsed laser induced fluorescence technique has been employed to study the recombination of mercury and bromine atoms, Hg + Br + M --> HgBr + M (1) and the self-reaction of bromine atoms, Br + Br + M --> Br2 + M (2). Rate coefficients were determined as a function of pressure (200-600 Torr) and temperature (243-293 K) in nitrogen buffer gas and as a function of pressure (200-600 Torr) in helium buffer gas at room temperature. For reaction 1, kinetic measurements were performed under conditions in which bromine atoms were the reactant in excess concentration while simultaneously monitoring the concentration of both mercury and bromine. A temperature dependent expression of (1.46 +/- 0.34) x 10(-32) x (T/298)(-(1.86+/-1.49)) cm6 molecule(-2) s(-1) was determined for the third-order recombination rate coefficient in nitrogen buffer gas. The effective second-order rate coefficient for reaction 1 under atmospheric conditions is a factor of 9 smaller than previously determined in a recently published relative rate study. For reaction 2 we obtain a temperature dependent expression of (4.31 +/- 0.21) x 10(-33) x (T/298)(-(2.77+/-0.30)) cm6 molecule(-2) s(-1) for the third-order recombination rate coefficient in nitrogen buffer gas. The rate coefficients are reported with a 2sigma error of precision only; however, due to the uncertainty in the determination of absolute bromine atom concentrations and other unidentified systematic errors we conservatively estimate an uncertainty of +/-50% in the rate coefficients. For both reactions the observed pressure, temperature and buffer gas dependencies are consistent with the expected behavior for three-body recombination.  相似文献

A theoretical study of charge transfer (CT) characteristics in nitrate (NO3(-)) anion-water complexes is presented, together with those for the halides, F-, Cl-, and Br-, for comparison. The relation between the vibrational frequency red shifts of the hydrogen (H)-bonded OH stretches and CT from the anion to the water molecule, established in previous work for the one-water complexes of the halides, is studied for both the one- and six-water nitrate complexes and is extended to the six-water case for the halides. In NO3(-) x H2O, the water molecule receives about as much charge as that in Br- x H2O. In a result consistent with aqueous phase infrared experiments [Bergstr?m, P. A.; Lindgren, J.; Kristiansson, O. J. Phys. Chem. 1991, 95, 8575-8580], the CT and OH red shift in NO3(-) x 6 H2O are found to be smaller than those for all of the six-water halide complexes, despite the presence of three H-bonding sites. The inability of the nitrate anion to effect substantial CT lies in the preservation of the pi-system being energetically favored over charge localization and enhancement of the strengths of the multiple H-bonds.  相似文献

Absolute room temperature (294 ± 2 K) absorption cross sections for the ?(1)A(2)-X?(1)A(1) electronic transition of formaldehyde have been measured over the spectral range 30,285-32,890 cm(-1) (304-330 nm) using ultraviolet (UV) laser absorption spectroscopy. Accurate high-resolution absorption cross sections are essential for atmospheric monitoring and understanding the photochemistry of this important atmospheric compound. Absorption cross sections were obtained at an instrumental resolution better than 0.09 cm(-1), which is slightly broader than the Doppler width of a rotational line of formaldehyde at 300 K (~0.07 cm(-1)) and so we were able to resolve all but the most closely spaced lines. Comparisons with previous data as well as with computer simulations have been made. Pressure broadening was studied for the collision partners He, O(2), N(2), and H(2)O and the resulting broadening parameters have been measured and increase with the strength of intermolecular interaction between formaldehyde and the collision partner. The pressure broadening coefficient for H(2)O is an order of magnitude larger than the coefficients for O(2) and N(2) and will contribute significantly to spectral line broadening in the lower atmosphere. The kinetics and mechanisms of the reactions of aluminium(III) with pentane-2,4-dione (Hpd), 1,1,1-trifluoro pentane-2,4-dione (Htfpd) and heptane-3,5-dione (Hhptd) have been investigated in aqueous solution at 25°C and ionic strength 0.5 mol dm−3 sodium perchlorate. The kinetic data are consistent with a mechanism in which aluminium(III) reacts with the β-diketones by two pathways, one of which is acid independent while the second exhibits a second-order inverse-acid dependence. The acid-independent pathway is ascribed to a mechanism in which [Al(H2O)6]3+ reacts with the enol tautomers of Hpd, Htfpd, and Hhptd with rate constants of 1.7(±1.3)×10−2, 0.79(±0.21), and 7.5(±1.6)×10−3 dm3 mol−1 s−1, respectively. The inverse acid pathway is consistent with a mechanism in which [Al(H2O)5(OH)]2+ reacts with the enolate ions of Hpd, Htfpd, and Hhptd with rate constants of 4.32(±0.18)×106, 5.84(±0.24)×103, and 1.67(±0.05)×107 dm3 mol−1 s−1, respectively. An alternative formulation involves a pathway in which [Al(H2O)4(OH)2]+ reacts with the protonated enol tautomers of the ligands. This gives rate constants of 2.79(±0.12)×104, 3.86(±0.16)×105, and 8.98(±0.25)×103 dm3 mol−1 s−1 for reaction with Hpd, Htfpd, and Hhptd, respectively. Consideration of the kinetic data reported here together with data from the literature, suggest that [Al(H2O)5(OH)]2+ reacts by an associative or associative-interchange mechanism. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
