This paper presents a three-dimensional characterization of oxygen defects in Czochralski-silicon (CZ) by 3D-SIMS using a camera based imaging system. Different manufacturing processes yielding a variation in size and distribution of oxygen precipitates are monitored by imaging SIMS and conventional depth profiling. Emphasis is laid on the characterization of the precipitation behavior governed by different annealing processes. The limitations of 3D SIMS for oxygen defect imaging are studied. Sputter induced microroughening of the crater bottom, investigated by SEM, is shown to be strongly correlated with defect densities caused by oxygen precipitates.  相似文献

We start with the observation that the quantum groupSL q (2), described in terms of the algebra of functions has a quantum subgroup, which is just a usual Cartan group. Based on this observation, we develop a general method of constructing quantum groups with similar property. We also develop this method in the language of quantized universal enveloping algebras, which is another common method of studying quantum groups. We carry out our method in detail for root systems of typeSL(2); as a byproduct, we find a new series of quantum groups-metaplectic groups ofSL(2)-type. Representations of these groups can provide interesting examples of bimodule categories over monoidal category of representations ofSL q (2).  相似文献

This paper continues a series of studies on the plane flow of a pile of cohesionless granular material down a rough inclined plane. Internal and basal friction laws are assumed to obey the Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion but in contrast to previous investigations the angle of friction at the bottom of the pile is considered to depend on the position or on the velocity or on both. Similarity, i.e. shape preserving solutions are constructed. The depth of the pile and the profile of the total minus the centre of mass velocity are determined analytically, but the total length and the position of the centre of mass are calculated numerically. If the basal friction angle is constant, the centre of mass moves with constant acceleration and the length of the pile extends monotonically. These motions change, when the angle of friction varies along the pile — the length of the pile may extend, contract or remain stationary and the centre of mass motion may decelerate or even reach steady state. Eight special cases are exhibited which demonstrate the influence of the friction law on the speed and spread of the pile.  相似文献

The time development of the surface concentration of impurities such as sulphur and nitrogen in high-purity polycrystalline α-iron samples has been investigated by means of Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) and Scanning Auger Microscopy (SAM) during linearly increasing the temperature from about 100 to 850°C. The subsequent segregation of N and S revealed strong differences in the segregation kinetics of these elements — especially with respect to the contribution of the dominating transport mechanism (grain boundary diffusion and bulk diffusion). Calculating the effective diffusion coefficient of S from two subsequent segregation runs, strongly differing values were found. An interpretation of the change in the diffusion properties of sulphur is given based on SIMS (Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy) investigations performed before and after the thermal treatment.  相似文献

Membrane proteins require lipid bilayers for function. While lipid compositions reach enormous complexities, high-resolution structures are usually obtained in artificial detergents. To understand whether and how lipids guide membrane protein function, we use single-molecule FRET to probe the dynamics of DtpA, a member of the proton-coupled oligopeptide transporter (POT) family, in various lipid environments. We show that detergents trap DtpA in a dynamic ensemble with cytoplasmic opening. Only reconstitutions in more native environments restore cooperativity, allowing an opening to the extracellular side and a sampling of all relevant states. Bilayer compositions tune the abundance of these states. A novel state with an extreme cytoplasmic opening is accessible in bilayers with anionic head groups. Hence, chemical diversity of membranes translates into structural diversity, with the current POT structures only sampling a portion of the full structural space.  相似文献

We report efficient cascaded Raman scattering of near-IR nanosecond pulses in large-core (65 μm diameter) As?S? and As?Se? optical fibers. Raman scattering dominates other spectral broadening mechanisms, such as four-wave mixing, modulation instability, and soliton dynamics, because the fibers have large normal group-velocity dispersion in the spectral range of interest. With ~2 ns pump pulses at a wavelength of 1.9 μm, four Stokes peaks, all with peak powers greater than 1 kW, have been measured.  相似文献
