The efficient in‐situ reduction and cyclization reaction of aromatic aldehyde, 1,3‐cyclopentanedione (tetronic acid), and nitro‐compound under SnCl2·2H2O‐THF medium

An efficient in‐situ reduction and cyclization reaction for the synthesis of pyrazolo[4,3‐f]quinoline, pyrazolo[3,4‐f]quinoline, and pyrazolo[3,2‐f]quinoline derivatives directly form 5‐nitroindazole, 6‐nitroindazole and 5‐nitroindole in the presence of SnCl₂·2H₂O was reported. Compared to traditional synthetic methods, this approach has the advantages of stable reagents, easy obtaining raw material, and high yields. In this research, SnCl₂·2H₂O is the efficient reducing agent for the in‐situ reduction and cyclization reaction of nitro‐compound. In addition, this process provided an alternative approach for the synthesis of target compounds.     

Electrochemical Tri- and Difluoromethylation-Triggered Cyclization Accompanied by the Oxidative Cleavage of Indole Derivatives

Considering their unique roles in organic synthesis, and pharmaceutical and agrochemical applications, the development of fluoroalkylation, cyclization, and indole oxidative cleavage are important topics. Herein, an unprecedented electrochemical tri- and difluoromethylation/cyclization/indole oxidative cleavage process occurring in an undivided cell is presented. The protocol employs a readily prepared Langlois reagent as the fluoroalkyl source, affording a series of tri- or difluoromethylated 2-(2-acetylphenyl)isoquinoline-1,3-diones in good yields with excellent stereoselectivity. It is worth noting that this new methodology merges the fluoroalkylation/cyclization of N-substituted acrylamide alkenes with the oxidative cleavage of an indole C(2)=C(3) bond under external oxidant-free conditions.     

A Convenient and Effective Synthesis of Tris-Bridged Tricationic Azolophanes

Two new macrobicyclic imidazolium and benzimidazolium phanes were synthesized by direct quaternization of the corresponding tripodal azacycles with tribromide under high dilution condition in excellent yields. The cyclophanes were identified by ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, FAB-MS, IR, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis.     

海藻酸-磷脂微囊复合水凝胶的制备、表征及毒理学分析

采用薄膜分散法合成磷脂微囊,根据胶粒的双电层理论,通过在微囊中加入氯化锰、氯化钙和氯化镁电解质溶液,使微囊处于相对稳定的状态.研究发现加入氯化锰和氯化钙溶液,微囊胶体的粒径没有明显的变化,但加入一定浓度氯化镁溶液,其粒径明显变大.为了进一步增加磷脂微囊稳定性,将氯化锰、氯化钙、氯化镁磷脂微囊胶体分别与海藻酸钠(SA)溶液混合.结果表明,氯化镁与SA几乎不能形成水凝胶,氯化钙与SA形成水凝胶能力强于氯化锰.微囊胶体溶液中的磷脂酰丝氨酸(PS)可以与Ca~(2+)和Mg~(2+)键合形成PS-Ca~(2+)和PS-Mg~(2+),但不能与Mn~(2+)键合形成PS-Mn~(2+).对氯化钙磷脂微囊与海藻酸钠合成的复合水凝胶的形貌、溶胀率及细胞毒性进行了表征,结果表明,氯化钙与SA形成的水凝胶可以捕获胶体中磷脂微囊,且形貌规整,结构稳定,无细胞毒性.

Evolution of downsized crescent-shaped dune in wind tunnel experiment

The migration of a downsized crescent-shaped dune was investigated in a wind tunnel experiment.Quantified upwind influx and vertical oscillation of the sand bed were introduced to modulate the saturation level of the sand flux above the dune surface to affect dune evolution.The evolution was recorded by top-view photography and then abstracted as the evolution of self-defined characteristic quantities using a digital image processing algorithm.The results showed that,in contrast to the case for spanwise quantities,the evolution of streamwise quantities corresponds to a linear increase in the modulation magnitude more positively and in a monotonic and convergent manner.In contrast with quantities on the windward face,the changes in quantities with respect to the horns were nonmonotonic with time and almost uncorrelated with the variation in modulation strength,which reveals the distinctiveness of leeside evolution.     

Modeling on an ecological food chain with recycling

We propose two nutrient-phytoplankton models with instantaneous and time delayed recycling, investigate the dynamics and examine the responses to model complexities. Instead of the familiar specific uptake rate and growth rate functions, we assume only that the nutrient uptake and phytoplankton growth rate functions are positive, increasing and bounded above. We use geometrical and analytical methods to find conditions for the existence of none, one, or at most two positive steady states and analyze the stability properties of each of these equilibria. With the variation of parameters, the system may lose its stability and bifurcation may occur. We study the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation and the possibility of stability switching. Numerical simulations illustrate the analytical results and provide further insight into the dynamics of the models, biological interpretations are given.
