Momentum transfer from vacuum field to anisotropic electromagnetic media

It is demonstrated that many novel vacuum effects will be caused if an anisotropic electromagnetic environment, which can break the universal symmetry of vacuum, is achieved. It is thus possible for the momentum to be transferred from the vacuum zero-point field to the anisotropic electromagnetic media. In addition to the effect considered by Feigel more recently [A. Feigel, Phys. Rev. Lett. 92 (2004) 020404], there may exist another vacuum-fluctuation contribution to the momentum of a medium. Such an effect has a relativistic origin (resulting from the relativistic transformation of the optical constants), which, however, was not taken into account by Feigel.     

航线优化的随机动态规划模型

航空公司在给定的运力和机队配置条件下,如何适应航线需求的不断变化而合理地分配运力,使航空公司的经营效益最大化是我国航空经营管理的一个重大课题.根据航班效益分析,在一定的经营时间,航行班次的条件下,建立一个航线贡献最大化的含有随机变量的动态规划模型.求解方法是先用M ON TE C ARLO方法计算机仿真把模型转化为非线性的整数规划.再用动态规划中资源分配算法求出模型的最优解,编排最优各航线规划.     

Polymerization of cyclopentadiene initiated by methylaluminoxane

The polymerization of cyclopentadiene (CPD) was effectively initiated by methylaluminoxane (MAO) to generate poly(cyclopentadiene) (polyCPD). The effects on the polymerization of some reaction parameters such as the monomer concentration, the initiator concentration, and solvents were investigated. The conversion of CPD was monitored with gas chromatography to investigate the reaction kinetics. The polymerization rate was proportional to the concentrations of MAO in the first order and of the CPD monomer in the second order, and a reasonable cationic polymerization mechanism was suggested on the basis of the kinetic study. PolyCPD obtained at a low temperature could be dissolved in toluene or chloroform, and this indicated lower cross‐coupling during the polymerization reaction. ¹H NMR and IR analysis of the polymer indicated that there were almost equal amounts of 1,2‐enchainment and 1,4‐enchainment in the polymer chain. The measurement of polyCPD showed its unique properties as a potential candidate for stable wrappings or electronic packaging materials. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Spatially Inhomogeneous Gain Modification in Photonic Crystals

The electric and magnetic energy distributions in photonic crystals （PC） are calculated by using the plane wave expansion （PWE） method. Even though the total electric and magnetic energy in each unit cell of photonic crystals are equal to each other, the ratio of electric and magnetic energy densities varies depending on the local position. Based on Fermi＇s golden rule, the optical gain is analysed in the full quantum framework that takes the nonuniform energy density ratio into account. This nonuniform energy density ratio in photonic crystals, defined in an equal form as gain modification factor, leads to spatially inhomogeneous modification of optical gain. Results reported in the paper provide a new perspective for analysing gain characteristics, as well as the lasing properties, in photonic crystals.

喷雾干燥-高温固相法制备纳米LiFePO4与LiFePO4/C材料及性能研究

采用喷雾干燥-高温固相法制备纳米LiFePO₄与LiFePO₄/C正极材料，用X-射线衍射，扫描电镜等对合成材料进行了表征，并对以LiFePO₄为正极的电池进行了电化学性能测试。结果表明:材料合成最佳煅烧温度为600 ℃;合成过程中由于碳对LiFePO₄晶型的生长有一定的抑制作用，相对于纯LiFePO₄材料，LiFePO₄/C材料粒径更小;并且，在此最佳合成温度下合成的LiF
