We have devised and experimentally verified a method for observation of the optical Kerr effect in microcavities at room temperature. The technique discriminates against the much larger and typically dominant thermal component of nonlinearity by using its relatively slow frequency response. Measurement of the Kerr coefficient or equivalently of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility of the cavity material is demonstrated for a silica microcavity. With this approach, useful information about the characteristic thermal response time in microresonators can also be acquired.  相似文献

Electro membrane extraction (EME) as a new microextraction method was applied for extraction of sodium diclofenac (SDF) as an acidic compound from wastewater, urine, bovine milk and plasma samples. Under applied potential of 20 V during the extraction, SDF migrated from a 2.1 mL of sample solution (1 mM NaOH), through a supported liquid membrane (SLM), into a 30 μL acceptor solution (10 mM NaOH), exist inside the lumen of the hollow fiber. The negative electrode was placed in the donor solution, and the positive electrode was placed in the acceptor solution. 1-octanol was immobilized in the pores of a porous hollow fiber of polypropylene as SLM. Then the extract was analyzed by means of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV-detection for quantification of SDF. Best results were obtained using a phosphate running electrolyte (10 mM, pH 2.5). The ranges of quantitation for different samples were 8–500 ng mL−1. Intra- and inter-day RSDs were less than 14.5%. Under the optimized conditions, the preconcentration factors were between 31 and 66 and also the limit of detections (LODs) ranged from 2.7 ng mL−1 to 5 ng mL−1 in different samples. This procedure was applied to determine SDF in wastewater, bovine milk, urine and plasma samples (spiked and real samples). Extraction recoveries for different samples were between 44–95% after 5 min of extraction.  相似文献

A new chemically modified carbon paste electrode for Cd(II) ions based on 3,5-dinitro-N-(tri-2-pyridyl methyl) benzamide (DNTPMBA) as an ionophore was prepared. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian response for Cd(II) ions over a wide concentration range (2.16 × 10?7–1.00 × 10?1 mol L?1) with a slope of 30 ± 1 mV per decade. It has a response time of about 50 s and can be used for a period of 3 months with good reproducibility. Detection limit obtained in the optimal conditions was 1.82 × 10?7 mol L?1. The electrode was successfully used for potentiometric determination of Cd(II) in well water. The pH influence and interference of some cations were also studied.  相似文献

In this paper, phase synchronization and the frequency of two synchronized van der Pol oscillators with delay coupling are studied. The dynamics of such a system are obtained using the describing function method, and the necessary conditions for phase synchronization are also achieved. Finding the vicinity of the synchronization frequency is the major advantage of the describing function method over other traditional methods. The equations obtained based on this method justify the phenomenon of the synchronization of coupled oscillators on a frequency either higher, between, or lower than the highest, in between, or lowest natural frequency of the aggregate oscillators. Several numerical examples simulate the different cases versus the various synchronization frequency delays.  相似文献

A novel polypyrole/graphene oxide coating was made by the electrochemical polymerization of pyrrole in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate and graphene oxide on a platinum wire. The prepared fiber has shown a good thermal stability up to 300°C. The fiber was applied to the direct solid‐phase microextraction and gas chromatographic analysis of four phthalate esters. The effect of four parameters on gas chromatography peak area including extraction temperature, extraction time, injection temperature, and ionic strength were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the detection limits were between 0.042 and 0.26 μg/L. The intraday and interday relative standard deviations obtained at 55 μg/L, using a single fiber, were 8.2–16% and 17.3–25.6%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of phthalate esters in two real samples of boiling water in cheap disposable clear plastic drinking cups showing recoveries from 83 to 120%.  相似文献

A novel sensitive chromogenic reagent, N,N′-bis(3-methylsalicylidene)-ortho-phenylene diamine (MSOPD), has been synthesized and used in the spectrophotometric determination of nickel. At pH 8, MSOPD can react with nickel ion at room temperature to form a 1:1 complex. The apparent molar absorptivity is 9.5 × 104 l mol−1 cm−1 at 430 nm. Beer's low is obeyed over the range 0-1.0 × 10−5 M of nickel with a detection limit of 1.36 × 10−8 M. The relative standard deviation for measurement of 3.41 × 10−6 M nickel is 1.3% (n = 10). The method has successfully been applied to determination of trace amounts of nickel in some natural food samples.  相似文献

The first field data, collected over an 11 year period, are presented which indicate the possible effect of asphalt precipitation on the permeability and injectivity index of a fractured carbonate oil reservoir. The asphalt aggregates were formed during enhanced oil recovery by injection of a rich gas into the reservoir. The data indicate that, while at the initial stages of the operations the permeability and injectivity index decrease, at later times they appear to oscillate with the process time, with apparent oscillations' periods that depend on the heterogeneity of the reservoir. Two classes of plausible mechanisms that give rise to such oscillatory behavior are discussed. One relies on the changes in the structure of the reservoir's fractures, while the other one is based on asphalt precipitation in the reservoir. Computer simulations of flow and precipitation of asphalt aggregates in a pore network model of the reservoir are carried out. The results appear to support our proposition that asphalt formation and precipitation in the reservoir are the main mechanism for the observed behavior of the injectivity index. We also develop a stochastic continuum model that accurately predicts the time-dependence of the reservoir's permeability and injectivity index during the gas injection process.  相似文献
