A new, vectorial approach to fast correlation attacks on binary memoryless combiners is proposed. Instead of individual input sequences or their linear combinations, the new attack is targeting subsets of input sequences as a whole thus exploiting the full correlation between the chosen subset and the output sequence. In particular, the set of all the input sequences can be chosen as the target. The attack is based on a novel iterative probabilistic algorithm which is also applicable to general memoryless combiners over finite fields or finite rings. We consider and compare four Hamiltonian formulations of thermostated mechanics, three of them kinetic, and the other one configurational. Though all four approaches "work" at equilibrium, their application to many-body nonequilibrium simulations can fail to provide a proper flow of heat. All the Hamiltonian formulations considered here are applied to the same prototypical two-temperature "phi4" model of a heat-conducting chain. This model incorporates nearest-neighbor Hooke's-Law interactions plus a quartic tethering potential. Physically correct results, obtained with the isokinetic Gaussian and Nose-Hoover thermostats, are compared with two other Hamiltonian results. The latter results, based on constrained Hamiltonian thermostats, fail to model correctly the flow of heat.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We develop a bit-reversible implementation of Milne's fourth-order predictor algorithm so as to generate precisely time-reversible simulations of irreversible processes. We apply our algorithm to the collision of two zero-temperature Morse-potential balls, which collide to form a warm liquid oscillating drop. The oscillations are driven by surface tension and damped by the viscosities. We characterise the ‘important’ Lyapunov-unstable particles during the collision and equilibration phases in both time directions to demonstrate the utility of the Milne algorithm in exposing ‘Time's Arrow’.  相似文献

Second-order nonlinear optical properties of newly designed and synthesized coumaromethacrylate side-chain polymers are reported. The optimum poling conditions were determined experimentally. The optimum poling temperature for these side-chain polymers is well above the glass transition temperature. The second harmonic coefficient of films poled by coronaonset at elevated temperature and the linear electro-optic coefficient of films poled by contact electrodes were measured. The stabilized value of the second harmonic coefficient, d 33, at 1064nm fundamental wavelength was found to be 13 pm/V. The linear electro-optic coefficient, r 33, exhibits strong dispersion ranging from 2 to 12pm/V in the wavelength range 477 to 1115 nm.  相似文献

Summary This paper proves some Skorokhod Convergence Theorems for processes with filtration. Roughly, these are theorems which say that if a family of processes with filtration (X n , n ),n, converges in distribution in a suitable sense, then there exists a family of equivalent processes (Y n , n ),n, which converges almost surely. The notion of equivalence used is that of adapted distribution, which guarantees that each (X n , n ) has the same stochastic properties as (X n , n ), with respect to its filtration, such as the martingale property or the Markov property. The appropriate notion of convergence in distribution is convergence in adapted distribution, which is developed in the paper. Fortunately, any tight sequence of processes has a subsequence which converges in adapted distribution. For discrete time processes, (Y n , n ),n, and their limit (Y, ) may be taken as all having the same fixed filtration n =. In the continuous time case, theY n , n may require different filtrations n , which converge to.
