The acrylamide‐based terpolymers (PADB) with 4‐butylstyrene (BST) as the hydrophobic monomer and dimethyldiallyammonium chloride (DMDAAC) were synthesized by the micellar free radical technique. The polymer was determined by UV, FT‐IR and 1HNMR, and the hydrophobic microblock structure of PADB was characterized successfully by the conventional DSC measurement. The use of DMDAAC improves the water solubility and intermolecular association of terpolymers. The feed amount of BST affects greatly the apparent viscosity of PADB solution. The polymer exhibits good viscosification property, salt resistance, temperature‐thickening, thixotropy, pseudoplastic behavior and shear‐thickening at low shear rate. The apparent viscosities of PADB solution remarkably increase by the addition of a small amount of surfactant. AFM measurements show that hydrophobic aggregates have been formed in 0.1 g dL?1 PADB aqueous solution, indicative of strong associations of hydrophobic groups, which are reinforced with increasing PADB concentration. The microstructures of PADB are disrupted by the addition of small amounts of salt, resulting in the decrease in solution viscosity. However, with increasing NaCl concentration, the tree‐like associating structures are formed, leading to the increase in the solution viscosity of PADB. The AFM results reveal that the solution properties of PADB are due to the associating structures in the aqueous solution and brine solution. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 4 new model, phase equilibrium-kinetics model (PEKM), for estimation of diffusioncoefficient was proposed in this paper. Kinetic experiments of phenol desorption on NKAII resin inthe presence and the absence of ultrasound were separately conducted, and diffusion coefficients ofphenol within an adsorbent particle were estimated by means of proposed PEKM and classicsimplified model. Results show that the use of ultrasound not only changes the phase equilibriumstate of NKAll resin/phenol/water system which had been equilibrium at normal condition, but alsoenhances diffusion of phenol within the resin. The diffusion coefficient of phenol in the resin in thefield of ultrasound increases in an order of magnitude in comparison with the diffusion coefficientdetermined under no ultrasound Experimental results also indicated that the diffusion coefficientsestimated by PEKM were more accurate than that estimated by the classic simplified model.  相似文献

利用能量为75—95MeV19F束流,通过反应128Te(19F,5nγ)142Pm研究了双奇核142Pm的高自旋态能级结构.实验中进行了γ射线的激发函数、γ射线单谱和γγ符合测量.建立了激发能达7030.0keV的142Pm的能级纲图,其中包括新发现的25条γ射线和13个新能级.基于实验测量的γ跃迁各向异性度,建议了142Pm能级的自旋值.  相似文献

Sodium 2,2′‐methylene‐bis(4,6‐di‐tert‐butylphenyl) phosphate (NA40) and N,N‐dicyclohexylterephthalamide (NABW) are high effective nucleating agents for inducing the formation of α‐isotactic polypropylene (α‐iPP) and β‐iPP, respectively. The isothermal crystallization kinetics of iPP nucleated with nucleating agents NABW, NA40/NABW (weight ratio of NA40 to NABW is 1:1) and NA40 were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Avrami equation was adopted to analyze the experimental data. The results show that the addition of NABW, NA40/NABW and NA40 can shorten crystallization half‐time (t1/2) and increase crystallization rate of iPP greatly. In these three nucleating agents, the α nucleating agent NA40 can shorten t1/2 of iPP by the largest extent, which indicates that it has the best nucleation effect. While iPP nucleated with NA40/NABW compounding nucleating agents has shorter t1/2 than iPP nucleated with NABW. The Avrami exponents of iPP and nucleated iPP are close to 3.0, which indicates that the addition of nucleating agents doesn't change the crystallization growth patterns of iPP under isothermal conditions and the crystal growth is heterogeneous three‐dimensional spherulitic growth. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
