Defect clusters in several rare-earth-doped ceria (doped with Y, Sm, Gd, Dy and Yb) containing up to four oxygen vacancies and eight dopant cations have been simulated and compared. In all doped ceria systems, the binding energy of the clusters increases with increasing cluster size and the oxygen vacancies tend to form curved chains in the clusters. Moreover, the capability of the growth of defect cluster is affected by dopant type, which can explain the dopant type dependency of domain development with increasing doping concentration in heavily doped ceria.  相似文献

采用旋转锥板式剪切力测试系统,测试了人工构建的具有五次、八次、十次、十二次对称性的二维准晶结构对甘油和水混合液的减阻性能,并与随机排列结构和周期排列结构的流阻进行了对比.对比试验发现:准晶结构具有显著的减阻效果,其中具有十二次对称性的二维准晶结构减阻效应最大,在剪切率为200—2000 s-1时,剪切力减小的幅度从15%—9%,其最大减阻量可达到15.4%.进一步在所构建的大尺度二维准晶结构的表面,再复合制备微/纳米粗糙结构,这两种尺度的结构协和作用,可实现减阻效果明显提高. 关键词: 准晶结构 粗糙结构 十二次对称性 减阻  相似文献

Different multicasting schemes in optical packet switched networks are discussed, including the parallel mode, serial mode, and hybrid mode multicasting schemes. Simulated modeling technique is applied to compare the network-level performance of the three multicasting schemes. A conclusion can be drawn from the results that since the hybrid-mode multicasting scheme can increase the multicast success ratio and reduce the packet retransmission times compared with the other two schemes, it is the best choice for delivering multicasting sessions in the optical packet switched networks.  相似文献

A simple and cost-effective multi-wavelength fiber ring laser based on a chirped Moire fiber grating (CMFG) and a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is proposed. Stable triple-wavelength lasing oscillations at room temperature are experimentally demonstrated. The measured optical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) reaches the highest value of 50 dB and the power fluctuation of each wavelength is less than 0.2 dB within a 1-h period. To serve as a wavelength selective element, the CMFG possesses excellent comb-like filtering characteristics including stable wavelength interval and ultra-narrow passband, and its fabrication method is easy and flexible. The lasing oscillation shows a narrower bandwidth than SOA-based multi-wavelength fiber lasers utilizing some other kinds of wavelength selective components. Methods to optimize the laser performance are also discussed.  相似文献

This paper reports that amorphous magnetic microwires(Fe79Si16B5) have been fabricated by a melt-extraction technique and have been annealed at 600°C and 750°C respectively.Differential scanning calorimeter measurements show that nanocrystalline magnetic phase(α-Fe) has been formed in the amorphous matrix when it was annealed at 600°C.Hard magnetic phase(Fe2B) was formed in the microwires annealed at 750°C,which increases the magnetic coercivity.Microwave permittivity and permeability are found to be dependent on the microstructures.The permittivity fitting results show that multi Lorentzian dispersion processes exist.For microwires annealed at 750°C,their resonance peaks due to the domain wall movements and natural resonance are found higher than those of microwires annealed at 600°C.The microwave absorption performance of microwires annealed at 600°C is found better than microwires annealed at 750°C.  相似文献

A quantified focal plane testing method, termed phase-shifting grating-slit test, is demonstrated by utilizing a micro liquid crystal display. In contrast to the setup in the Ronchi Test, an incoherent illuminating grating is used and an optical slit is located at the image plane of the tested lens to modulate the aberrated wavefront. With the micro liquid crystal display generating and phase shifting the incoherent illuminating grating with variable frequency, a higher measurement dynamic range can be achieved on demand.  相似文献

Light emitting diode (LED) has more advantages compared with a traditional incandescent light bulb and a fluorescent lamp, such as small size, low quantity of heat, long life, low power consumption, fast response, plain packaging and ease of develop ment of a frivolous short product. A methodology is proposed to improve the uniformity of the LED illumination system. As a light source in a backlight unit (BLU), the requirement for optical characteristics of a LED is different from highly directional conventional ones. New diffused-type LEDs need to be developed to fulfill the requirement of the BLU industry. A non-spherical lens is designed to optimize uniformity, and a great improvement in uniformity from 28.4 to 64% is demonstrated. In the future, it may used in an LED display to improve the unevenness of illumination.  相似文献

A novel method to produce a flat-topped laser beam by using a double-clad rectangular waveguide laser with high-index inner cladding is presented. The waveguide dispersion equation for cosine mode was deduced, the condition for the flattened mode was given out, relative gains for guided modes were calculated numerically and analyzed. Results indicate that a gain advantage for the flattened mode is clear, a flat-topped laser beam can be achieved when the optical confinement factor, the gain intensity and the output coupler are chosen suitably.  相似文献

A wavelength-selective coupler constructed with two parallel long-period fiber gratings (LPFGs) was investigated thoroughly. Both the numerical and experimental results verified that the filter response could be improved by adjusting the UV refractive modulation of the gratings and by controlling the external surrounding. And an add/drop channel filter with high efficiency and good spectral characteristic was achieved even though the claddings of the two gratings were not processed. This feature is very favorable to simplify the fabrication process.  相似文献

Static optimization is a widely used technique for solving the redundant problem of muscle-force determination for given inverse dynamics. There are different cost functions, such as minimal metabolic energy, minimal forces, minimal fatigue, which lead to different results. One problem in this setting is that the resulting time histories of the ensuing equilibrium forces may not be feasible with respect to the muscle dynamics, i.e., the resulting force gradients at the muscle cannot be reproduced by the dynamics of the corresponding muscle. In this paper, a combined method is presented which takes into account the limitations induced by the muscle dynamics by applying static optimization techniques at each time step and prescribing minimal and maximal constraints for the forces by extrapolating the force values from previous steps using feasible muscle activation values. Thus, both the advantages of fast static optimization and the guarantee of feasible time histories of the muscle forces can be achieved.
