Photoactivated chemotherapy (PACT) has appealing merits over traditional chemotherapy as well as photodynamic therapy (PDT) by virtue of its spatial and temporal control on drug activity and oxygen-independent mechanisms of action. However, the short photoactivation wavelengths, e.g., visible light–activated Ru(II)-based PACT agents, limit the clinical application severely. In this work, a facile construction of supramolecular nanoparticles from a poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)-modified [Ru(dip)2(py-SO3)]+ (abbreviated as Ru-PEG, dip = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, py-SO3 = pyridine-2-sulfonate) and 1,3-phenylenebis(pyren-1-ylmethanone) (BP) is shown. While Ru-PEG may undergo photoinduced ligand dissociation and release anticancer species of [Ru(dip)2(H2O)2]2+, BP has extremely large two-photon absorption cross sections (δ2) in the NIR region and intense fluorescence over the wavelengths where Ru-PEG has strong absorption. Thus, two-photon excitation of BP followed by an efficient Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) from BP to Ru-PEG may lead to a potent inactivation against cisplatin-resistant cancer cells and 3D multicellular tumor spheroids (MCTSs). The residue fluorescence of BP also allows the cellular uptake of the particles to be visualized. It is believed that there are more fundamental gauge symmetries beyond those described by the Standard Model of particle physics. The scales of these new gauge symmetries are usually too high to be reachable by particle colliders. Considering that the phase transition (PT) relating to the spontaneous breaking of new gauge symmetries to the electroweak symmetry might be strongly first order, we propose considering the stochastic gravitational waves (GW) arising from this phase transition as an indirect way of detecting these new fundamental gauge symmetries. As an illustration, we explore the possibility of detecting the stochastic GW generated from the PT of begin{document}$ {bf{B}}-{bf{L}}$end{document} ![]()

水下移动观测平台的机动航路对纯方位目标运动分析方法的使用性能具有重要的影响。针对此问题,提出了一种利用信号自相关函数warping变换的浅海水下移动观测平台机动优化方法。该方法利用warping变换从接收信号自相关函数中提取与目标距离相关的简正波相干项的特征频率,进而估计距离特征量,再根据预估的目标初始距离范围估计目标运动态势范围。针对观测平台机动方式为匀速转弯运动的情况,以目标方位变化率为评价指标得到了观测平台在所估计的目标运动态势范围下的最优转弯角速率。在浅海Pekeris波导环境下的数值仿真结果和实验数据处理结果表明:方位变化率与纯方位扩展卡尔曼滤波算法的性能密切相关;利用warping变换可以有效地估计距离特征量;观测平台根据以方位变化率为评价指标得到的最优转弯角速率进行机动可以获得较好的目标跟踪性能,收敛时间较短,目标位置估计误差较小。 相似文献

AbstractPolyacrylamide grafted cellulose nanocrystals (CNC-g-PAM) were incorporated into poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) by a solution casting method to fabricate nanocomposite films with enhanced thermal and tensile properties. The microstructure and the thermal and tensile properties of the PVA/CNC-g-PAM nanocomposite films were investigated as a function of CNC-g-PAM content. Infrared spectroscopy corroborated the presence of hydrogen bonds between PVA and the PAM on the surface of the CNC. Polarized optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy revealed good dispersion of the CNC-g-PAM in the PVA matrix and good interfacial compatibility. Accordingly, the initial degradation temperature of the nanocomposite films was elevated slightly compared to pristine PVA film. The glass transition temperature, melting temperature, and crystallinity of the PVA also varied slightly after the incorporation of the CNC-g-PAM. At both 0% and 50% RH, the nanocomposite films showed an obvious increase of elastic modulus, no apparent change of breaking strength and a drastic reduction of elongation at break with increasing CNC-g-PAM content. 相似文献

本文应用分子场理论,研究暴露于水蒸气中的亲水性两性离子聚合物(HP)刷的构象与结构.理论模型考虑HP-水(P-W)氢键和水-水(W-W)氢键效应,以及HP单体之间的偶极-偶极相互作用.研究发现,P-W与W-W氢键决定着HP的水合性,P-W氢键形成,会诱导HP刷溶胀.我们通过考察HP单体间的偶极-偶极相互作用发现,随着偶极-偶极相互作用增强,HP链在垂直培基表面沿着链方向,形成了结节状结构.这是由于HP单体之间的偶极-偶极静电吸引作用导致单体间汇聚结节,这种结节在刷内产生了较强的排斥体积作用,因此,这种HP刷具有抗污性能.在较高的接枝密度环境下,由于HP链间单体之间的偶极-偶极静电吸引作用,会形成链间单体-单体的结节,在刷内形成结节网络状凝胶结构,这种结构的出现,会使得HP刷呈现极强的抗污性.另外,当体系中水蒸气浓度增加、水合相互作用增强时,增加的P-W氢键将平衡HP单体之间的偶极-偶极相互作用,使得结节解开,聚合物链伸展.我们的理论结果符合实验观测,由此表明,P-W氢键效应,以及HP单体之间的偶极-偶极相互作用决定着HP刷的构象转变和结构特性,刷内出现的两性离子聚合物链内单体间的结节和链间单体结节状凝胶结构,是两性离子聚合物刷呈现较强抗污性的本质特性. 相似文献

A common glass plate has been shown to be an adaptable and effective tool for use in speckle-shearing interferometry. Analyses of both the imaging system and the optical-filtering arrangement have been developed. Experiments were performed successfully. Quartz crystal resonators (QCRs) with circular electrodes have been widely used for various liquid and gas sensing applications. In this work,quartz crystal resonators with elliptical electrodes were studied and tested for liquid property measurement. Mindlin’s theory was used to optimize the dimension and geometry of the electrodes and a 5-MHz QCR with minimum series resistance and without any spurious modes was obtained. A series of AT-cut QCRs with elliptical electrodes of different sizes were fabricated and their sensing performances were compared to devices with circular electrodes. The experimental result shows that the device with elliptical electrodes can obtain lower resonance impedance and a higher Q factor,which results in a better loading capability. Even though the sensitivities of devices with elliptical and circular electrodes are found to be similar,the sensor with elliptical electrodes has much higher resolution due to a better frequency stability. The study indicates that the performance of QCRs with elliptical electrodes is superior to that of traditional QCRs with circular electrodes. 相似文献

通过对合成金刚石的原材料和合成产物——石墨、Ni70Mn25Co5触媒、普通人造金刚石、黑色人造金刚石、NiMnCoC熔体的磁化率测试,以及对黑色人造金刚石和普通人造金刚石破碎断面扫描电镜的对比分析,认为黑色人造金刚石形成低磁性的原因是由于合成过程中温度偏高、压力偏低,生长的金刚石质量差、裂纹多。晶体内夹杂了很多石墨与触媒包裹体,同时金刚石表面与金刚石晶体内的触媒包裹体之间形成贯穿性的裂纹。在金刚石化学提纯处理过程中,金刚石晶体内的铁磁性触媒包裹体杂质被通过裂纹进入的酸除去。因而在检测金刚石磁性时,黑色金刚石的磁性很小,呈弱磁性。 相似文献
