The present study was conducted to develop a simple and versatile method to prepare carboxylated bamboo fibers which can be applied as potential bio-adsorbent for metal ions removal due to the high content of carboxyl groups. The chemical modification of bamboo fibers with citric acid (CA) was carried out by friendly semi-dry oven method. The resulting products with carboxyl group content between 1.99 and 4.13 mmol/g were accessible by changing ultrasonic pretreatment time, reaction temperature, reaction time and the amounts of catalyst and citric acid in order to minimize cross-linking reaction and thereby maximize carboxyl groups content. The characterization of the resulting products confirmed that carboxyl groups were successfully grafted onto surface of bamboo fibers. Moreover, the carboxylated bamboo fibers could be applied as bio-adsorbent for the removal of lead(II) ions from aqueous solution. Results showed that the adsorption capacity of Pd2+ could reach 127.1 mg/g for carboxylated bamboo fibers with 4.13 mmol/g carboxyl group content prepared under the ultrasonic pretreatment for 20 min at the CA/bamboo fibers weight ratio of 4.0 in the catalyst amount of 30 wt% at 120 °C for 90 min and the carboxylated bamboo fibers exhibited highly efficient regeneration with no significant loss of adsorption capacity of lead ion after five repeated adsorption/desorption cycles. 相似文献

Bioleaching is a technology for the recovery of metals from minerals by means of microorganisms, which accelerate the oxidative dissolution of the mineral by regenerating ferric ions. Bioleaching processes take place at the interface of bacteria, sulfide mineral and leaching solution. The fundamental forces between a bioleaching bacterium and mineral surface are central to understanding the intricacies of interfacial phenomena, such as bacterial adhesion or detachment from minerals and the mineral dissolution. This review focuses on the current state of knowledge in the colloidal aspect of bacteria–mineral interactions, particularly for bioleaching bacteria. Special consideration is given to the microscopic structure of bacterial cells and the atomic force microscopy technique used in the quantification of fundamental interaction forces at nanoscale. 相似文献

The aim of the present study was to label EGCG with 125I and to determine its radiopharmaceutical potential in mice. EGCG was labeled with 125I using the iodogen method. The labeling yield and the radiochemical purity of 125I–EGCG were determined by radio thin-layer chromatography (RTLC). The Labeling yield was approximately 89.4 %. The radiochemical purity was approximately 96.4 %. The biodistribution studies of the labeled compound (specific activity; 0.47 TBq/μg) were performed in male Kunming mice. The uptakes of 125I–EGCG in some organs were determined at different time after injection to the mice. The radioactivity in each organ was counted and the percentage of injected activity per gram of tissue weight (%ID/g) for each organ and blood was calculated. Incorporation of radioactivity in the various tissue/organ was confirmed by microautoradiography. 125I–EGCG uptake in the stomach and salivary gland was higher than other organ/tissue. The black silver grains was concentrated in the nucleus, cytoplasm, intercellular substance and capillaries of that various organs, and its unevenly distributed. Thus, 125I–EGCG may be radiopharmaceutical for the imaging of the stomach and salivary gland. 相似文献

Humic acid, a natural ionic molecule, is rapidly being recognized as one of the crucial elements in our modern diets of the new century. A biophysical protocol utilizing circular dichroism (CD), steady state and time-resolved fluorescence for the investigation of the complexation of the humic acid to the staple in vivo transporter, human serum albumin (HSA), as a model for protein-humic substances, is proclaimed. The alterations of CD and three-dimensional fluorescence suggest that the polypeptide chain of HSA partially folded after complexation with humic acid. The data of fluorescence emission displayed that the binding of humic acid to HSA is the formation of HSA-humic acid complex with an association constant of 104 M−1; this corroborates the fluorescence lifetime measurements that the static mechanism was operated. The precise binding domain of humic acid in HSA has been verified from the denaturation of albumin, hydrophobic ANS displacement, and site-specific ligands; subdomain IIA (Sudlow's site I) was earmarked to possess high-affinity for humic acid. The observations are relevant for other albumin-humic substance systems when the ligands have analogous configuration with humic acid. 相似文献

A 40-Gb/s optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) return-to-zero (RZ) transmission experiments in cluding a dynamic polarization mode dispersion (PMD) compensation was reported. The dynamic PMD compensator is made up of two-stage four degrees of freedom (DOF). The first stage adopts polarization controller and fixed time-delayed line. The second stage is variable differential group delay (DGD) element. The PMD monitoring technique is based on degree of polarization (DOP) as error signal. A novel practical adaptive optimization algorithm was introduced in dynamic adaptive PMD compensation. The experimental results show that the performance of the PMD compensator is excellent for 40-Gb/s RZ transmission systems with the large DGD. With this compensator, a significant improvement of system performance can be achieved in the eye pattern of a received signal. The first-order compensating ability of the compensator is greater than 30 ps. The second-order compensating ability is greater than 200 ps2.The first-order optimum compensating time is within 10 ms. We present a non-uniform granular system in one-dimensional case, whose granularity distribution has the fractal characteristic. The particles are subject to inelastic mutual collisions and obey Langevin equation between collisions. By Monte Carlo simulation we study the dynamic actions of the system. Far from the equilibrium, i.e., τ 〉〉 τe, the results of simulation indicate that the inhomogeneity of the system and the inelasticity of the particles have great influences on the dynamic properties of the system, and correspondingly the influence of the inhomogeneity is more significant. 相似文献

A set of a-SiOx:H (0.52 <x< 1.58) films are fabricated by plasma-enhanced-chemical-vapor-deposition (PECVD) method at the substrate temperature of 250°C. The microstructure and local bonding configurations of the films are investigated in detail using micro-Raman scattering, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). It is found that the films are structural inhomogeneous, with five phases of Si, Si2O:H, SiO:H, Si2O3:H and SiO2 that coexist. The phase of Si is composed of nonhydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si) clusters that are spatially isolated. The average size of the clusters decreases with the increasing oxygen concentration x in the films. The results indicate that the structure of the present films can be described by a multi-shell model, which suggests that a-Si cluster is surrounded in turn by the subshells of Si2O:H, SiO:H, Si2O3:H, and SiO2. 相似文献

采用microRaman散射、傅里叶变换红外吸收谱和光致发光谱研究了快速热退火及氢等离子体处理对等离子体增强化学气相沉积法200℃衬底温度下生长的富硅氧化硅(SRSO)薄膜微结构和发光的影响.研究发现,在300—600℃范围内退火,SRSO薄膜中非晶硅和SiOx∶H两相之间的相分离程度随退火温度升高趋于减小;而在600—900℃范围内退火,其相分离程度随退火温度升高又趋于增大;同时发现SRSO薄膜发光先是随退火温度的升高显著加强,然后在退火温度达到和超过600℃后迅速减弱;发光峰位在300℃退火后蓝移,此后随退火温度升高逐渐红移.对不同温度退火后的薄膜进行氢等离子体处理,发光强度不同程度有所增强,发光峰位有所移动,但不同温度退火样品发光增强的幅度和峰位移动的趋势不同.分析认为退火能够引起薄膜中非晶硅颗粒尺度、颗粒表面结构状态以及氢的存在和分布等方面的变化.结果表明不仅颗粒的尺度大小,而且颗粒表面的结构状态都对非晶硅颗粒能带结构和光生载流子复合机理发挥重要影响
