We report on the femtosecond laser micromachining of photo-induced embedded diffraction grating in flexible Poly (Dimethly Siloxane) (PDMS) plates using a high-intensity femtosecond (130 fs) Ti: sapphire laser (λp = 800 nm). The refractive index modifications with diameters ranging from 2 μm to 5 μm were photo-induced after the irradiation with peak intensities of more than 1 × 1011 W/cm2. The graded refractive index profile was fabricated to be a symmetric around from the center of the point at which femtosecond laser was focused. The maximum refractive index change (Δn) was estimated to be 2 × 10−3. By the X-Y-Z scanning of sample, the embedded diffraction grating in PDMS plate was fabricated successfully using a femtosecond laser. 相似文献

In this Letter, we study the scattering dynamics of a pair of solitary waves in the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam model with interaction potential V(x)=alphax(2)/2+x(4)/4 and establish a quantitative connection between the scattering property and the energy transport behavior. The energy and momentum conservation laws are obtained and the scattering rates of solitary waves are calculated. Our studies suggest that the anharmonic limit model with alpha=0 can be taken as a paradigm model for studying lattice solitary waves. 相似文献

We investigate the adsorptions of Ar on Al (111) and Ir (111) surfaces at the four high symmetry sites,i.e.,top,bridge,fcc-and hcp-hollow sites at the coverage of 0.25 monolayer (ML) using the density functional theory within the generalized gradient approximation of Perdew,Burke and Ernzerhof functions.The geometric structures,the binding energies,the electronic properties of argon atoms adsorbed on Al (111) and Ir (111) surfaces,the difference in electron density between on the Al (111) surface and on the Ir (111) surface and the total density of states are calculated.Our studies indicate that the most stable adsorption site of Ar on the Al (111) surface is found to be the fcc-hollow site for the (2 × 2) structure.The corresponding binding energy of an argon atom at this site is 0.538 eV/Ar atom at a coverage of 0.25 ML.For the Ar adsorption on Ir (111) surface at the same coverage,the most favourable site is the hcp-hollow site,with a corresponding binding energy of 0.493 eV.The total density of states (TDOS) is analysed for Ar adsorption on Al (111) surface and it is concluded that the adsorption behaviour is dominated by the interaction between 3s,3p orbits of Ar atom and the 3p orbit of the base Al metal and the formation of sp hybrid orbital.For Ar adsorption on Ir (111) surface,the conclusion is that the main interaction in the process of Ar adsorption on Ir (111) surface comes from the 3s and 3p orbits of argon atom and 5d orbit of Ir atom. 相似文献

In this work, KrF excimer laser irradiation of n-type SiC is used to form Ohmic contacts at the interfaces between the irradiated SiC and various types of metals with different work functions without subsequent thermal annealing. Ohmic contacts are formed between laser-treated 6H-SiC and Ti at a laser fluence of 0.7 J/cm2. Moreover, in the fluence range of 0.7–1.3 J/cm2, Ohmic characteristics are also observed between irradiated 6H-SiC and Au, which is a representative inert metal. The laser-induced heavy doping effect reduces the thickness of the Schottky barrier between the metal and SiC, and the formation of graphene sheets on the irradiated SiC surface reduces the barrier height, resulting in the direct formation of Ohmic contacts. Our findings thus demonstrate the potential of this laser treatment method to achieve Ohmic contacts between n-type SiC and a broad range of metal electrodes without requiring high-temperature annealing. 相似文献

As a part of underwater acoustics, the study and development of Arctic Acoustics is later than underwater acoustics about several hundred years. After World War II, the study of Arctic Acoustics attracts many interests by some developed countries, especially U.S. and pre-Soviet Union. The research works obviously have some kinds of cold war brand. After the Cold War, with the gradual warming trend of Arctic area, the ocean acoustic environment in Arctic and its adjacent area have been considerably concerned. The 8 countries of Arctic rim organized exclusive "Arctic Council" in 1996. The white paper of "China Arctic Policy"was published in January 26, 2018, the Chinese government declared that China is a close Arctic country, and is the responsible stakeholder of Arctic interests. The new advances in Arctic research works axe introduced in this paper, including the results of scientific survey and studies about Arctic underwater acoustics of Chinese researchers. It is showed that the Arctic underwater acoustical research area is not only parallely copy the topics what traditional underwater acoustics covered, e.g. environment noise,reverberation,and propagation, but also the topics which is specifically based on the Arctic environment. Some of these research fields cannot be included in the traditional shallow water, deep water acoustics, e.g. the ice-water interface feature, ice covered semi-acoustic channel effect, the communication and navigation of UUV in the condition of under ice, and the adaptation of sonar technique, equipment in the ice-covered environment, etc. 相似文献

A THz band-reject filter is designed based on chiral four-fold rotational symmetry metamaterial. This filter was fabricated by laser micro-lens array lithography and characterized by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. The resonant frequencies at different twist angles are almost the same, which demonstrates the polarization independence of the structure. The electric field distribution is simulated to explain the physics mechanism behind the polarization independence. By stacking multiple metamaterial layers together, a THz broadband reject filter at a bandwidth of 0.461 THz is experimentally achieved. 相似文献

Anatase titanium dioxide nanowire arrays were prepared by hydrothermally oxidizing titanium foils in aqueous alkali and transferred onto fluorinated tin oxide(FTO)glass for use as the photoanodes of front side illuminated dye-sensitized solar cells(DSCs).Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)measurement was applied to compare the electron transport and recombination properties of DSCs using TiO2nanowire films and TiO2nanoparticle films as photoanodes.It was found that the nanowire array films possess smaller electron transport resistance(Rt)and larger electron diffusion length(Le)in the photoanodes,suggesting that the nanowire arrays can enhance the electron transport rate and have a potential to improve the charge collection efficiency of DSCs. 相似文献

Inorganic solid electrolytes have distinguished advantages in terms of safety and stability, and are promising to substitute for conventional organic liquid electrolytes. However, low ionic conductivity of typical candidates is the key problem. As connective diffusion path is the prerequisite for high performance, we screen for possible solid electrolytes from the 2004 International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD) database by calculating conduction pathways using Bond Valence (BV) method. There are 109846 inorganic crystals in the 2004 ICDD database, and 5295 of them contain lithium. Except for those with toxic, radioactive, rare, or variable valence elements, 1380 materials are candidates for solid electrolytes. The rationality of the BV method is approved by comparing the existing solid electrolytes’ conduction pathways we had calculated with those from experiments or first principle calculations. The implication for doping and substitution, two important ways to improve the conductivity, is also discussed. Among them Li2CO3 is selected for a detailed comparison, and the pathway is reproduced well with that based on the density functional studies. To reveal the correlation between connectivity of pathways and conductivity, α/γ-LiAlO2 and Li2CO3 are investigated by the impedance spectrum as an example, and many experimental and theoretical studies are in process to indicate the relationship between property and structure. The BV method can calculate one material within a few minutes, providing an efficient way to lock onto targets from abundant data, and to investigate the structure-property relationship systematically. 相似文献
