Adducts of the ligand bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methane (tz(2)(CH(2))) of the form AgX:tz(2)(CH(2)):ER(3):MeCN (1:1:1:x) (X = NO(3), R = Ph, E = P, As, or Sb, x = 1 or 2; X = NO(2), ClO(4), O(3)SCF(3), E = P, R = Ph, x = 0, 1 or 2; X = NO(3), ClO(4), E = P, R = cy, x = 1; X = ClO(4), E = As, R = Ph, x = 2) and AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):P(o-tolyl)(3) (2:2:1) have been synthesized and characterized in the solid state and in solution by analyses, spectral (IR, far-IR, (1)H and (13)C NMR, ESI MS data) data, and conductivity measurements. In the one-dimensional polymers (characterized by X-ray studies) AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):PPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:1), AgClO(4):tz(2)(CH(2)):PPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):AsPh(3): CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), and AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):SbPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), the silver atom can be regarded as four-coordinate, the tz(2)(CH(2)) ligands behaving as bridging groups rather than chelates, with no pair of ligands being dominant, quasi-trans, in their interactions. The AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):P(o-tolyl)(3) (2:2:1) adduct is a two-dimensional polymer containing two independent silver atoms, one four-coordinated unsymmetrically by a pair of triazolyl rings, one P(o-tolyl)(3), and a unidentate nitrate and the second by a quasi-symmetrical O(2)NO chelate and a pair of equivalent triazolyl rings.  相似文献

We provide a comprehensive study of single- (ss) and double-strand (ds) oligonucleotides with either 25 or 10 bases or base pairs (bp) immobilized on polycrystalline and single-crystal Au(111) surfaces. The study is based on X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry, interfacial capacitance data, and electrochemical scanning tunnelling microscopy (in situ STM). The sequences used were the 25-bp sequence from the BRCA1 gene (25-mer), while the 10-bp oligonucleotides contained solely linear adenine and thymine sequences. The oligonucleotides were modified by the dimethoxytrityl group (DMT) via a disulfide group [DMT-S-S-ss25-mer and DMT-S-S-ds(AT)10], a pure disulfide group (A10-S-S-T10), or a thiol group [HS-ss25-mer and HS-ds-(AT)10], all via a hexamethylene linker. The overall pattern suggests strategies for controlled adsorption of DNA-based molecules and recognition of complementary strands or other molecules.  相似文献

Oligonucleotides modified by a hexamethylene linker group adsorb on gold electrodes via Au-S bond formation. We have obtained novel data for adsorption of thiol-modified (HS) single-strand HS-10A and double-stranded HS-10AT oligonucleotides and for analogous thiol-free 10A (A = adenine) and 10T (T = thymine) nonspecifically adsorbed as reference molecules. Mercaptohexanol has served as a second reference molecule. The data are based on cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry, interfacial capacitance data, and in situ scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) directly in an aqueous buffer solution, with electrochemical potential control of both the sample electrode and the tip. All the data are based on single-crystal, atomically planar Au(111)-electrode surfaces. The high sensitivity of such surfaces provides accurate HS-10A and HS-10AT electrode coverages on the basis of the reductive desorption of the Au-S bond. The coverage is high and in keeping with dense monolayers of adsorbed HS-10A and HS-10AT in an upright or tilted orientation, with the oligonucleotide backbone repelled from the strongly negatively charged electrode surface. Adsorbed thiol-free 10A only gives a Au(111)-reconstruction peak, while 10T shows a subtle pattern involving pronounced voltammetric adsorption peaks indicative of both nonspecific adsorption via single thymine units and potential-dependent structural reorganization in the surface layer. In situ STM supports these findings at the molecular level. In situ STM of HS-10A discloses large, highly ordered domains at strongly negative sample potentials. Reversible domain formation and disordering could, moreover, be controlled by an electrochemical potential variation in the negative and positive directions, respectively. 10A and 10T did not form ordered adsorbate domains, substantiating that domain formation rests on adsorption of thiol-modified oligonucleotide adsorption in an upright or tilted orientation. The comprehensive, high-resolution information reported may hold prospects for single-molecule electronic conduction and molecular-scale mapping of oligonucleotide hybridization.  相似文献

We report a mechanistic study of how flow and recirculation in a microreactor can be used to optimize the capture and release of stimuli-responsive polymer-protein reagents on stimuli-responsive polymer-grafted channel surfaces. Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) was grafted to polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) channel walls, creating switchable surfaces where PNIPAAm-protein conjugates would adhere at temperatures above the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) and released below the LCST. A PNIPAAm-streptavidin conjugate that can capture biotinylated antibody-antigen targets was first characterized. The conjugate's immobilization and release were limited by mass transport to and from the functionalized PNIPAAm surface. Transport and adsorption efficiencies were dependent on the aggregate size of the PNIPAAm-streptavidin conjugate above the LCST and also were dependent on whether the conjugates were heated in the presence of the stimuli-responsive surface or pre-aggregated and then flowed across the surface. As conjugate size increased, through the addition of non-conjugated PNIPAAm, recirculation and mixing were shown to markedly improve conjugate immobilization compared to diffusion alone. Under optimized conditions of flow and reagent concentrations, approximately 60% of the streptavidin conjugate bolus could be captured at the surface and subsequently successfully released. The kinetic release profile sharpness was also strongly improved with recirculation and helical mixing. Finally, the concentration of protein-polymer conjugates could be achieved by continuous conjugate flow into the heated recirculator, allowing nearly linear enrichment of the conjugate reagent from larger volumes. This capability was shown with anti-p24 HIV monoclonal antibody reagents that were enriched over 5-fold using this protocol. These studies provide insight into the mechanism of smart polymer-protein conjugate capture and release in grafted channels and show the potential of this purification and enrichment module for processing diagnostic samples.  相似文献

Novel [Rh(η-diene)Tp(x)] complexes of sterically encumbered Tp(x) ligands (Tp(x) = Tp(4Bo), diene = cod, 1; nbd, 2; Tp(x) = Tp(4Bo,5Me), diene = cod, 3; nbd, 4; Tp(x) = Tp(a,3Me), diene = cod, 5; nbd, 6; Tp(x) = Tp(a*,3Me), diene = cod, 7; nbd, 8) have been prepared by treatment of [Rh(η-diene)(μ-Cl)](2) with TlTp(x) (Tp(x) in general, in detail: Tp(4Bo) = hydrotris(indazol-1-yl)borate, Tp(4Bo,5Me) = hydrotris(5-methyl-indazol-1-yl)borate, Tp(a,3Me) = hydrotris(3-methyl-2H-benz[g]-4,5-dihydroindazol-2-y1)borate, Tp(a*,3Me) = hydrotris(3-methyl-2H-benz[g]indazol-2-yl)borate), and characterized by analytical and spectral data (IR, (1)H, (11)B, and (13)C NMR solution). The structures adopted by [Rh(nbd)Tp(4Bo)] 2, [Rh(cod)Tp(4Bo,5Me)] 3, [Rh(nbd)Tp(a,3Me)] 6, [Rh(nbd)Tp(a*,3Me)] 8, and [Rh(nbd)Tp(a*,3Me*)] 8* (incorporating a borotropomeric ligand), have been investigated. Low steric hindrance between the ligands in 2 and 3 permits κ(3) coordination of the pyrazolylborate while the high steric encumbrance present in 6, 8, and 8* results in κ(2) ligands. The coordination modes of the ligands to the metal have also been established by (15)N CPMAS studies of selected ligands and their corresponding Rh complexes. These spectroscopic data are in agreement with the (15)N chemical shifts obtained by using quantum-chemical methods to assist reliable assignments of the experimental values, affording new insights into the extraction of structural information concerning the hapticity (κ(2) or κ(3)) of the poly(pyrazolyl)borate ligands to the Rh metal.  相似文献

In this work, a new set of values for the solubility of carbon dioxide in aqueous mixture containing different concentrations of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP), a sterically-hindered amine, and piperazine (PZ), an activator, are presented. The results were carefully determined using a 1.0 dm3 stainless steel vapour-recirculation equilibrium cell at T = (313.2, 333.2, and 353.2) K, and pressures up to 152 kPa. The AMP concentrations in the ternary (solvent) mixture were (2 and 3) kmol · m?3; those of PZ’s were (0.5, 1.0, and 1.5) kmol · m?3. The measured equilibrium loading (solubility)/partial pressure pairs at different temperatures and concentration levels were generally consistent with the corresponding values correlated from the Kent–Eisenberg model that has been adapted for the system in the study, where the parameters of the models were determined using the results from this study and relevant data from literature.  相似文献

Whilst many metal–organic frameworks possess the chemical stability needed to be used as functional materials, they often lack the physical strength required for industrial applications. Herein, we have investigated the mechanical properties of two UiO‐topology Zr‐MOFs, the planar UiO‐67 ([Zr6O4(OH)4(bpdc)6], bpdc: 4,4′‐biphenyl dicarboxylate) and UiO‐abdc ([Zr6O4(OH)4(abdc)6], abdc: 4,4′‐azobenzene dicarboxylate) by single‐crystal nanoindentation, high‐pressure X‐ray diffraction, density functional theory calculations, and first‐principles molecular dynamics. On increasing pressure, both UiO‐67 and UiO‐abdc were found to be incompressible when filled with methanol molecules within a diamond anvil cell. Stabilization in both cases is attributed to dynamical linker disorder. The diazo‐linker of UiO‐abdc possesses local site disorder, which, in conjunction with its longer nature, also decreases the capacity of the framework to compress and stabilizes it against direct compression, compared to UiO‐67, characterized by a large elastic modulus. The use of non‐linear linkers in the synthesis of UiO‐MOFs therefore creates MOFs that have more rigid mechanical properties over a larger pressure range.  相似文献

We report a new class of frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) by the hydroboration of bulky isocyanates iPr2ArNCO (iPr2Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3) and Ph2tBuArNCO (Ph2tBuAr=2,6‐Ph2‐4‐tBuC6H2) with Piers’ borane (HB(C6F5)2). While hydroboration of smaller isocyanates such as iPr2ArNCO leads to isocyanate—N/B FLP adducts, hydroboration of the bulkier Ph2tBuArNCO allows isolation of the substrate‐free aminoborane with a short, covalent N?B bond. This confused FLP reversibly binds unsaturated substrates such as isocyanates and isocyanides, suggesting the intermediacy of a “normal” FLP along the reaction pathway, supported by high‐level DFT studies and variable‐temperature NMR spectroscopy. These results underscore the possibility of FLP behavior in systems that possess no obvious frustrated Lewis acid–base interaction.  相似文献

Lattice Monte Carlo simulations were performed to study the structure of hybrid organic-inorganic materials. Several cases were modeled where the composition corresponds to high surfactant concentration phases similar to that obtained from the synthesis of hybrid materials resulting from a phase separation. When using hybrid inorganic precursors, comparable to organosilicas, we observe that the organic segment is well mixed with the inorganic precursor and surfactant heads and no preferential location of the organic groups is observed. We show that the behavior of surfactant/hybrid precursor systems is analogous to those where co-surfactants or co-solvents are used, and that the lack of ordering in some cases can be explained by the change in solvent quality when using hybrid precursors. A comparison of structural characterization of the different phases using several tools, such as aggregate size distribution, density profiles, and pair radial distribution function is presented.  相似文献
