A design of polarization-maintaining retro-reflectors(PMRRs) for folded-path applications is proposed and analyzed.The prism-based scheme enables the output light,which is parallel to the input,to have an identical state of polarization.The principle of the design is theoretically verified,and the related error is analyzed due to possible manufacturing imperfection.The maximum spatial angle error is ±2.75°.The effect on the extinction ratio and insertion loss is also discussed,which further proves the design’s feasibility in practical applications. 相似文献

Abstract— 3-Azidopyridine adenine dinucleotide, an azide analog of NAD+ , has been synthesized as a potentially general photochemical labeling reagent for the active sites of NAD-dependent dehydrogenases. The analog is a competitive inhibitor of NAD reduction by yeast alcohol dehydrogenase (YADH). Upon photolysis of the 3 H-analog in the presence of YADH, 7% of the label becomes covalently bound. The in situ high P-T X-ray diffraction experiments were conducted at pressures up to 17 GPa and temperatures up to 1273 K to study the phase transformations and equations of state for two grades of zirconium metals. At ambient temperature, our results reveal significant differences in both the transition pressure and kinetics of the α-ω phase transformation between the ultra-pure Zr (35 ppm Hf and <50 ppm O) and impure Zr (1.03 at% Hf and 4.5 at% O). These observations indicate that impurities, particularly oxygen ions, play important roles in the transformation mechanisms as well as crystal stability. On the other hand, impurities have no measurable effects on either the elastic bulk moduli of both α and ω phases or the volume change across the α-ω phase transformation. At elevated temperature, both impure and ultra-pure Zr show similar transition temperatures for the ω-β phase boundary over a pressure range of 6-16 GPa, suggesting that impure oxygen and hafnium ions can only be an α-Zr stabilizer; they do not seem to significantly increase the stability of the ω-Zr relative to the β-Zr. 相似文献

The total structure factor S(Q) and the radial distribution function G(r) of liquid Y3Al5O12 (YAG) were measured at 1770-2230 K by x-ray scattering from samples under containerless conditions in Ar and O2. Nominal coordination numbers are 4 for Al3+ and 6 for Y3+ ions. The G(r) has peaks at r approximately 1.8 A for Al-O, r approximately 2. 25 A for Y-O, and r approximately 3.3-3.6 A assigned to metal ions in adjacent AlO5-4 and YO9-6 polyhedral ions. Relative to the pure oxides, G(r) for molten YAG has smaller half-widths for the Al-O and Y-O peaks, and an increased sensitivity to temperature and the ambient gas composition. 相似文献
