We study the relation between perturbative knot invariants and the free energies defined by topological string theory on the character variety of the knot. Such a correspondence between SL(2;C)SL(2;C) Chern–Simons gauge theory and the topological open string theory was proposed earlier on the basis of the volume conjecture and AJ conjecture. In this paper we discuss this correspondence beyond the subleading order in the perturbative expansion on both sides. In the computation of the perturbative invariants for the hyperbolic 3-manifold, we adopt the state integral model for the hyperbolic knots, and the factorized AJ conjecture for the torus knots. On the other hand, we iteratively compute the free energies on the character variety using the Eynard–Orantin topological recursion relation. We discuss the correspondence for the figure eight knot complement and the once punctured torus bundle over S1S1 with the monodromy L2RL2R up to the fifth order. For the torus knots, we find trivial the recursion relations on both sides.  相似文献

We experimentally investigate the dynamic behavior of the combustion instability in a lean premixed gas-turbine combustor from the viewpoint of nonlinear dynamics. A nonlinear time series analysis in combination with a surrogate data method clearly reveals that as the equivalence ratio increases, the dynamic behavior of the combustion instability undergoes a significant transition from stochastic fluctuation to periodic oscillation through low-dimensional chaotic oscillation. We also show that a nonlinear forecasting method is useful for predicting the short-term dynamic behavior of the combustion instability in a lean premixed gas-turbine combustor, which has not been addressed in the fields of combustion science and physics.  相似文献

In this report, we describe design, synthesis, evaluation and molecular dynamics simulations of synthetic multifunctional pores with pi-acidic naphthalenediimide clamps. Experimental evidence is provided for the formation of unstable but inert, heterogeneous and acid-insensitive dynamic tetrameric pores that are sensitive to base and ionic strength. Blockage experiments reveal that the introduction of aromatic electron donor-acceptor interactions provides access to the selective recognition of pi-basic intercalators within the pore. This breakthrough is important for the application of synthetic pores as multianalyte sensors.  相似文献

It′s what′s on the inside that counts : In some cases, the metallic impurities within residual catalyst metallic nanoparticle impurities, which remain in carbon nanotubes even after their purification, are responsible for the “electrocatalytic” properties of carbon nanotubes. This is demonstrated by using double‐walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs) containing cobalt residual catalyst nanoparticle impurities, which themselves contain iron‐based impurities.

Coherent control of a charge-lattice coupled oscillation associated with the neutral (N)-ionic (I) transition was successfully demonstrated for a charge-transfer (CT) compound, tetrathiafulvalene-p-chloranil, with use of double femtosecond laser pulses. By changing the interval of the two laser pulses, amplitude of the oscillation in the reflectivity for the intramolecular transition band sensitive to the degree of CT was periodically changed. With increase of the pump intensity, the oscillation amplitude was dramatically enhanced. Such an enhancement is discussed in terms of the cooperative nature of the N-I transition.  相似文献

To confirm the superiority of newly developed electrocatalyst layer (ECL) for polymer electrolyte fuel cells, three-dimensional dispersion states of Nafion ionomer in Pt/carbon black agglomerates were analyzed by electron tomography based on multiple TEM images taken at different tilt angles. Uniform distribution of the ionomer has been first observed, proving the high catalyst utilization in the new ECL distinctive from that of the conventional one.  相似文献

EB (electron beam) irradiation of sulfonamide within a beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) inclusion complex in the solid state induced the solvent-free Fries rearrangement, which proceeded at a shorter reaction time with reversed regioselectivity by inclusion into the beta-CD, compared with that of sulfonamide crystals; the beta-CD as a restricted nanospace had a large effect on the reactivity and regioselectivity of the solvent-free EB-Fries rearrangement.  相似文献
