A direct ab initio molecular dynamics method has been applied to a water monomer and water clusters (H(2)O)(n) (n = 1-3) to elucidate the effects of zero-point energy (ZPE) vibration on the absorption spectra of water clusters. Static ab initio calculations without ZPE showed that the first electronic transitions of (H(2)O)(n), (1)B(1)←(1)A(1), are blue-shifted as a function of cluster size (n): 7.38 eV (n = 1), 7.58 eV (n = 2) and 8.01 eV (n = 3). The inclusion of the ZPE vibration strongly affects the excitation energies of a water dimer, and a long red-tail appears in the range of 6.42-6.90 eV due to the structural flexibility of a water dimer. The ultraviolet photodissociation of water clusters and water ice surfaces is relevant to these results.  相似文献

Dinuclear complexes [{Pt(trpy)}(2)(L)](PF(6))(2) (trpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine, L = 2-octylthio-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dithiolate ion (1), L = 2-octadecylthio-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dithiolate ion (2), L = 2-di-n-butylamino-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dithiolate ion (3)) and a trinuclear complex [{Pt(trpy)}(3)(L)](PF(6))(3) (L = 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-trithiolate ion (4)) have been synthesized and characterized. The single crystal X-ray analysis revealed that the two {Pt(trpy)}(2+) fragments in 1 and 3 adopt a syn-configuration. The PtPt distances are around 4.3 ?, suggesting no intramolecular PtPt interactions. Complexes 1-4 in acetonitrile show broad absorption bands at around 470 nm, assigned to mainly the ligand-to-ligand charge transfer ((1)LLCT) from triazine thiolates to trpy based on the comparison to the related complexes and the density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The red luminescence of 1-4 in acetonitrile is attributable to emission predominantly from (3)LLCT. Cyclic voltammograms of 1-3 exhibit four redox couples from -2.0 V to 0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. The two consecutive processes at around -0.70 V are assigned to the sequential reduction of two trpy ligands. This assignment was further supported by the observation of the anion radical of trpy in spectroelectrochemical experiments. The splitting of the redox potentials of two trpy ligands evidences the moderate electronic coupling interactions mediated by the triazine dithiolate bridges. Complex 2 formed a transparent red gel in CH(3)CN, whereas 4 produced a gel-like solid in the mixtures of CH(3)CN and other solvents. The interactions dominating the aggregative behaviours have been discussed based on the results of electronic absorption and emission spectroscopy.  相似文献

The direct arylation on the thienyl groups of a diarylethene with various aryl iodides efficiently provided arylated dithienylethenes under palladium catalysis. Unsymmetrically substituted dithienylethenes were also synthesized by this protocol. Highly regioselective and efficient borylation of a variety of porphyrins has been achieved by reaction with bis(pinacolato)diboron through C? H bond activation under iridium catalysis on the basis of the synthetic protocol developed by Miyaura, Hartwig, and Smith. A boryl group can be selectively introduced at sterically uncongested positions in the peripheral aryl groups of porphyrin substrates whose peripheral β‐positions are sterically hindered. Curiously, β substituents adjacent to the aryl group to be borylated have unexpectedly large effects on the regioselectivity, because the iridium catalyst can discriminate between subtle steric differences. Chemoselective borylation was also achieved for several functionalized porphyrins. This borylation protocol can be applied to various monomeric and oligomeric functional porphyrins, hence offering an efficient route to elaborate multiporphyrin‐based molecular constructs.  相似文献

The electronic structures at the ground and low-lying excited states of permethyloligosilane radical cations, Sin(CH3)2n+2+ (n = 4-7), have been investigated using DFT and ab initio calculations. The calculations showed that positive charge (hole) is delocalized along the Si-Si main chain at the ground and first excited states. On the other hand, the hole is transferred to the methyl side-chain at the second and higher excited states. From these results, it was concluded that hole can move along the Si-Si main chain at thermal conditions. Also, it was predicted that intermolecular hole hopping takes place by photo-irradiation to the permethyloligosilane radical cation. The mechanism of hole transfer was discussed on the basis of the results.  相似文献

Chlorophyll a was adsorbed onto smectite to form chlorophyll-smectite conjugate, which became photostable against light illumination. The chlorophyll-smectite conjugate caused the photoreduction of nitro blue tetrazolium, NBT, through the formation of superoxide anion, and the conjugate retained the photosensitive activity even after 20 hour illumination. Furthermore, the conjugate deposited on SnO2 electrode caused electron transfer under light illumination. The anodic photocurrent rose at ?200 mV versus Ag/AgCl electrode (KCl saturated) and reached a maximum level at approximately +100 mV. The photocurrent spectrum was in good agreement with the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll-smectite conjugate in an aqueous solution and the quantum efficiency was approximately 1% at 670 nm.  相似文献

Hyperbranched polyimides (HBPI)s with high glass‐transition temperatures and excellent thermal stability were synthesized through the reaction of commercially available carboxylic acid dianhydrides with tris[4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)phenyl]ethane (TAPE). In particular, hyperbranched polyimide HBPI(TAPE‐DSDA), prepared through the reaction of TAPE with 3,3′,4,4′‐diphenylsulfonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (DSDA), showed higher thermal stability and good solubility. Furthermore, alkaline‐developable, photosensitive HBPI(TAPE‐DSDA)‐MA‐CA was prepared through the reaction of HBPI(TAPE‐DSDA) with glycidyl methacrylate with tetrabutylammonium bromide as a catalyst in N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone (NMP) followed by the addition reaction of cis‐1,2,3,6‐tetrahydrophthalic anhydride with triphenylphosphine as a catalyst in NMP. The glass‐transition temperatures of HBPI(TAPE‐DSDA)‐MA‐CA were greater than 300 °C. A resist composed of 74 wt % HBPI(TAPE‐DSDA)‐MA‐CA, 22.2 wt % trimethylpropane triacrylate, and 3.8 wt % Irgacure 907 as a photoinitiator achieved a resolution of a 55‐μm line pattern and a 275‐μm space pattern by UV irradiation (1000 mJ/cm2). © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
