The coefficient of normal restitution in an oblique impact is theoretically studied. Using a two-dimensional lattice model for an elastic disk and an elastic wall, we demonstrate that the coefficient of normal restitution can exceed unity and has a peak against the incident angle in our simulation. An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), bearing octadecyl acrylate, methyl acrylate and acrylic acid groups, and crosslinked by aluminum acetylacetonate (AlACA), displayed behavior unique among acrylic PSAs in that its adhesion, which decreases with an increase in temperature, began to increase again from around 150 °C. In order to understand this behavior, the structure and thermal properties of the PSA were investigated in detail, along with another PSA crosslinked by a covalent crosslinking agent (Az). From thermal mechanical analysis, the PSA with ionic crosslinks (AlACA) showed three softening points at 20, 60, and 160 °C. In comparison, the PSA covalently crosslinked by Az only exhibited two softening points (at 20 and 60 °C). The softening point at 160 °C is clearly related to ionic chelate crosslinking. DSC measurements indicated that the softening point at 20 °C resulted from melting of the ordered octadecyl group, and the softening point at 60 °C was due to an increase in the mobility of the main chain. The temperature dependence of viscoelastic measurements revealed that the viscosity of the PSA crosslinked by AlACA increased at around 160 °C. From these results, we considered that the distinctive adhesion of the PSA crosslinked by AlACA could be due to ligand exchange at the aluminum crosslinking points, which are chelated by carboxy groups built in the main chain.  相似文献

2-Hydroxypropyl-??-cyclodextrin (HP-??-CyD) includes all-trans retinoic acid (RA), covering the double-bond area of RA with substituted hydroxypropyl groups on CyD ring, as proved by the nuclear Overhauser effect (NOE) between methylene protons on the hydroxypropyl groups and the proton on RA. The formation of an inclusion complex results in hydrophilicity and stability. The effect of RA/HP-??-CyD and that of RA without HP-??-CyD on wrinkle scores and skin elasticity during skin treatment were identical, and the cutaneous stimulus was reduced comparing with RA. The results indicated that the RA/HP-??-CyD complex should help to realize new approaches in skin rejuvenation therapy.  相似文献

The acetyl esterified calixarene (CA) derivatives were prepared from calix[4]resorcinarene (CRA), and ptert‐butylcalixarene (BCA[n], n = 4, 6, 8), respectively. Using these CA derivatives as curing agents, the thermal curing reactions of two multifunctional epoxy resins (jER 828, 186 g/equiv., and ESCN, 193.7 g/equiv.) were investigated. The temperatures of glass transition (Tg) and decomposition (T) were measured by DSC and TGA, respectively. Based on the yields, Tgs, and Tds of the thermal cured jER 828 epoxy resin with CRA‐E100, the curing conditions were optimized to be tetrabutylphosphonium bromide (TBPB) as catalyst in NMP at 160 °C for 15 h. Under this curing condition, the cured materials of jER 828 or ESCN using various CA derivatives as curing agents were prepared. Except for BCA4 derivatives, the yields of thermal curing reaction were higher than 90%. Tgs and Ts of the resultant cured materials were in the range of 113–248 °C and 363–404 °C, respectively. These results mean that the cured epoxy resins with excellent Tgs were successfully formed by using CA derivatives as curing agents. It was also found that the Tgs of cured epoxy resins were strongly affected by the degree of esterification of CA derivatives. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Fluorine‐containing polyethers with pendant hydroxyl groups were synthesized by the polyaddition of fluorine‐containing bis(epoxide)s with certain fluorine‐containing diols with quaternary onium salts as catalysts. When the polyaddition was performed with 2,2′,6,6′‐tetrafluoro‐4,4′‐biphenol diglycidiyl ether and 2,2′,6,6′‐tetrafluoro‐4,4′‐biphenol, the corresponding polyether with pendant hydroxyl groups was successfully obtained in good yield. The polyaddition of certain fluorine‐containing bis(epoxide)s with diols also proceeded in bulk to provide the corresponding fluorine‐containing polyethers with high molecular weights. These polyethers were highly transparent at 157 nm for 0.1 μm thickness, with their transmittance of 14–75% at 157 nm. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Treatment of antiaromatic nickel(II) norcorrole with potassium cyanide provided nickel(II) 3‐cyanonorcorrole with perfect regioselectivity without the help of a catalyst. The reaction of the nickel(II) norcorrole with phenol or thiophenol in the presence of a base also yielded substitution products. The antiaromatic 16π conjugation system in the norcorrole core was preserved in the functionalized products. Introduction of phenylthio groups significantly decreased the HOMO–LUMO gap and enhanced the near IR absorption property.  相似文献

In this paper the photocontrolled manipulation of solid materials on the surface of a liquid crystalline thin film is described. Three different types of films namely cholesteric liquid crystal (ChLC), compensated nematic liquid crystal (NLC) and nematic LC were used. The rotational and translational manipulation of the microscale solid object was induced by irradiation of light and mode of manipulation (either translational or rotational) was changed by changing the isomer of the azobenzene compound used to make the film. Rotational motion of the object was observed on the ChLC and compensated NLC films containing chirally pure azobenzene compound. The direction of rotational motion was controlled either by changing the optical isomer of the chiral azobenzene or by changing the irradiating light (from ultraviolet to visible). When racemic mixture of the chiral azobenzene compound was used, a translational motion of the object was observed. Even though the direction of the translational motion can be controlled by controlling irradiation position, more facile and precise manipulation of the objects was possible by spatially controlled irradiation of Ar(+) laser and diode UV laser.  相似文献

Treatment of perylene bisimides (PBIs) with bis(pinacolato)diboron in the presence of an iridium catalyst provides tetraborylated PBIs at 2,5,8,11-positions in good yields with perfect regioselectivity. The planar structure of the perylene core has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Oxidation of tetraborylated PBI with hydroxylamine hydrochloride affords tetrahydroxy PBI in excellent yield, which exhibits a substantially blue-shifted absorption spectrum due to an intramolecular hydrogenbonding interaction between carbonyl and hydroxy groups.  相似文献
