[structure: see text] Using chiral auxiliaries, 2-methoxy-2-(1-naphthyl)propionic acid (MalphaNP acid) (S)-(+)-1 and its deuterium-labeled enantiomer (R)-(-)-1-d(n)() (n = 3 or 6), we have developed a new diastereomer method for determining enantiomeric excess (% ee) of chiral alcohols by (1)H NMR and/or MS spectrometry, where the kinetic resolution effect is completely excluded. The data of % ee determined by this method agree well with those calculated by weight, the average error being ca. +/-1.08% ee.  相似文献

Treatment of the acetylene-coordinated tetrairon cluster, [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(HCCH)2]+, with N-bromosuccinimide led to stepwise bromination of two acetylene ligands to form [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(HCCBr)(HCCH)]+, [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(HCCBr)2]+, [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(BrCCBr)(HCCBr)]+, and [(eta5-C5H4Me)4Fe4(BrCCBr)2]+. (pi-Allyl)palladium triflate bearing a 1,2-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-3,4-bis(2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenylphosphinidene)cyclobutene ligand (DPCB-OMe), [Pd(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(DPCB-OMe)]OTf, efficiently catalyzes deallylation of a variety of allyl ethers in aniline to give corresponding alcohols in high yields under mild conditions. The reactions can be performed in air without loss of a variety of functionalities including vinyl, alkynyl, hydroxy, acetoxy, silyloxy, and acetal groups. Allyl 2-allyloxybenzoate selectively undergoes deallylation of the allyloxy group to give allyl salicylate in quantitative yield.  相似文献

The structures of B2H5·, B2H5CO·, and B2H5N2· radicals are investigated using the 6–31G* basis set. Both double H-bridged and single H-bridged isomers are found to be local minima on the potential energy surface. The effects of electron correlation are taken into account using single point MP4/6–31G* calculations and, for the diboryl radicals, complete MP3/6–31G* optimizations. In all cases the single H-bridged isomers are found to be more stable than the corresponding double H-bridged isomers.The transition state for the double H-bridged to single H-bridged B2H5· isomerization reaction is calculated to be 2.54 kcal mol–1 above the double H-bridged radical at the MP4SDTQ/6-31G*//UHF/ 6–31 G* level when corrected for zero point energy. Barrier tunneling increased the reaction rate by a factor of 2.5–3.0, strongly suggesting the system is fluxional at this temperature.The addition of CO and N2 to the diboryl radicals leads to relocation of the unpaired electron and rehybridization of the C and N atoms adjacent to the boron atoms. The isomers of B2H5CO· and B2H5N2· are different and should be distinguishable experimentally. While the CO moiety is bound to the diboryl radicals isomers by over 19 kcal mol–1, no binding energy is evident for N2.  相似文献

A series of Cu(I) complexes formulated as [Cu(2)(mu-X)(2)(PPh(3))(L)(n)] were prepared with various mono- and bidentate N-heteroaromatic ligands (X = Br, I; L = 4,4'-bipyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, 1,5-naphthyridine, 1,6-naphthyridine, quinazoline, N,N-dimethyl-4-aminopyridine, 3-benzoylpyridine, 4-benzoylpyridine; n = 1, 2). Single-crystal structure analyses revealed that all the complexes have planar {Cu(2)X(2)} units. Whereas those with monodentate N-heteroaromatic ligands afforded discrete dinuclear complexes, bidentate ligands formed infinite chain complexes with the ligands bridging the dimeric units. The long Cu...Cu distances (2.872-3.303 A) observed in these complexes indicated no substantial interaction between the two Cu(I) ions. The complexes showed strong emission at room temperature as well as at 80 K in the solid state. The emission spectra and lifetimes in the microsecond range were measured at room temperature and at 80 K. The emissions of the complexes varied from red to blue by the systematic selection of the N-heteroaromatic ligands (lambda(em)(max): 450 nm (L = N,N-dimethyl-4-aminopyridine) to 707 nm (L = pyrazine)), and were assigned to metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) excited states with some mixing of the halide-to-ligand (XL) CT characters. The emission energies were successfully correlated with the reduction potentials of the coordinated N-heteroaromatic ligands, which were estimated by applying a simple modification based on the calculated stabilization energies of the ligands by protonation.  相似文献

The cloud point extraction behavior of iron(III) and vanadium(V) using 8-quinolinol derivatives (HA) such as 8-quinolinol (HQ), 2-methyl-8-quinolinol (HMQ), 5-butyloxymethyl-8-quinolinol (HO4Q), 5-hexyloxymethyl-8-quinolinol (HO6Q), and 2-methyl-5-octyloxymethyl-8-quinolinol (HMO8Q) and Triton X-100 solution was investigated. Iron(III) was extracted with HA and 4% (v/v) Triton X-100 in the pH range of 1.70-5.44. Above pH 4.0, more than 95% of iron(III) was extracted with HQ, HMQ, and HMO8Q. Vanadium(V) was also extracted with HA and 4% (v/v) Triton X-100 in the pH range of 2.07-5.00, and the extractability increased in the following order of HMQ < HQ < HO4Q < HO6Q. The cloud point extraction was applied to the determination of iron(III) in the riverine water reference by a graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy. When 1.25 × 10−3 M HMQ and 1% (v/v) Triton X-100 were used, the found values showed a good agreement with the certified ones within the 2% of the R.S.D. Moreover, the effect of an alkyl group on the solubility of 5-alkyloxymethyl-8-quinolinol and 2-methyl-5-alkyloxymethyl-8-quinolinol in 4% (v/v) Triton X-100 at 25 °C was also investigated.  相似文献

Various 6,7-dihydro-5H-benzo[6,7]cyclohepta[1,2-d][pyrimidines bearing amino acid group at the 4-position of the skeleton were synthesized by the reaction of 4-chloro-6,7-dihydro-5H-benzo[6,7]cyclohepta[1,2-d]-pyrimidine with some amino acid, which were cyclized to 5,6-dihydro-4H-benzo[3,4]cyclohept[1,2-e]imidazo-[1,2-c]pyrimidines, corresponding to B-homo-11,13,15-triazasteroids. π–π stacking interaction is well-known to be one of the weak interactions. Its importance in the stabilization of protein structures and functionalization has been reported for various systems. We have focused on a single copper oxidase, galactose oxidase, which has the π–π stacking interaction of the alkylthio-substituted phenoxyl radical with the indole ring of the proximal tryptophan residue and catalyzes primary alcohol oxidation to give the corresponding aldehyde. This stacking interaction has been considered to stabilize the alkylthio-phenoxyl radical, but further details of the interaction are still unclear. In this review, we discuss the effect of the π–π stacking interaction of the alkylthio-substituted phenoxyl radical with an indole ring.  相似文献
