The microwave-assisted acid-digestion for the determination of metals in coal by ICP-AES was investigated, especially focusing on the necessity of adding HF. By testing five certified reference materials, BCR-180, BCR-040, NIST-1632b, NIST-1632c, and SARM-20, it was found that the two-stage digestion without HF (HNO3 + H2O2 was used) was very effective for the pretreatment of ICP-AES measurement. Both major metals (Al, Ca, Fe, and Mg) and minor or trace metals (Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn) in coal gave good recoveries for their certified or reference values. The possibility of ‘HF-memory effect’ was cancelled by the use of a set of vessels which had been never contacted with HF. Twenty-four Japanese standard coals (SS coals) were analyzed by the present method, and the concentrations of major metals measured by the present method provided very high accordance with those from the authentic JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) method. 相似文献

The effect of the surface covering of lactose carrier particles on the dry powder inhalation properties of salbutamol sulfate was investigated. Lactose carrier surfaces were covered with sucrose tristearate (J-1803F) by a high-speed elliptical-rotor-type powder mixer (Theta-Composer). In the present study, drug/carrier powder mixtures were prepared consisting of micronized salbutamol sulfate and lactose carriers with various particle surface conditions prepared by surface covering. These powder mixtures were aerosolized by a Jethaler), and the in vitro inhalation properties of salbutamol sulfate were evaluated by a twin impinger. Compared with the powder mixed with uncovered lactose carrier, the in vitro inhalation properties of the powder mixture prepared using the surface covering lactose carrier were significantly different, showing that the in vitro inhalation properties of salbutamol sulfate were improved. In vitro inhalation properties increased with the percentage of J-1803F added. A model chemistry for the evaluation of intermolecular interaction between aromatic molecules (AIMI Model) has been developed. The CCSD(T) interaction energy at the basis set limit has been estimated from the MP2 interaction energy near the basis set limit and the CCSD(T) correction term obtained by using a medium size basis set. The calculated interaction energies of the parallel, T-shaped,and slipped-parallel benzene dimers are -1.48, -2.46, and -2.48 kcal/mol, respectively. The substantial attractive interaction in benzene dimer, even where the molecules are well separated, shows that the major source of attraction is not short-range interactions such as charge-transfer but long-range interactions such as electrostatic and dispersion. The inclusion of electron correlation increases attraction significantly. The dispersion interaction is found to be the major source of attraction in the benzene dimer. The orientation dependence of the dimer interaction is mainly controlled by long-range interactions. Although electrostatic interaction is considerably weaker than dispersion interaction, it is highly orientation dependent. Dispersion and electrostatic interactions are both important for the directionality of the benzene dimer interaction. 相似文献

An amperometric enzyme electrode for the determination of hypoxanthine in fish meat is described. The hypoxanthine sensor was prepared from xanthine oxidase immobilized by covalent binding to cellulose triacetate and a carbon paste electrode containing hydroxymethylferrocene. The xanthine oxidase membrane was retained behind a dialysis membrane at a carbon paste electrode. The sensor showed a current response to hypoxanthine due to the bioelectrocatalytic oxidation of hypoxanthine, in which hydroxymethyiferrocene served as an electron-transfer mediator. The limit of detection is 6 × 10?7 M, the relative standard deviation is 2.8% (n=28) and the response is linear up to 7 × 10?4 M. The sensor responded rapidly to a low hypoxanthine concentration (7 × 10?4 M), the steady-state current response being achieved in less than 1 min, and was stable for more than 30 days at 5 ° C. Several beta-secretase inhibitors were designed based on hydroxyethylamine dipeptide isostere (HDI) structures and were synthesized by a methodology using the aza-Payne rearragement and O,N-acyl transfer reactions to study their structure-activity relationships.
