A sensitive, versatile, and reproducible automatic analyzer for highly polar carboxylic acids based on a fluorescence derivatization–liquid chromatography (LC) method was developed. In this method, carboxylic acids were automatically and fluorescently derivatized with 4‐(N,N‐dimethylaminosulfonyl)‐7‐piperazino‐2,1,3‐benzoxadiazole (DBD‐PZ) in the presence of 4‐(4,6‐dimethoxy‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)‐4‐methylmorpholinium chloride by adopting a pretreatment program installed in an LC autosampler. All of the DBD‐PZ‐carboxylic acid derivatives were separated on the ODS column within 30 min by gradient elution. The peak of DBD‐PZ did not interfere with the separation and the quantification of all the acids with the exception of lactic acid. From the LC‐MS/MS analysis, we confirmed that lactic acid was converted to an oxytriazinyl derivative, which was further modified with a dimethoxy triazine group of 4‐(4,6‐dimethoxy‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)‐4‐methylmorpholinium chloride (DMT‐MM). We detected this oxytriazinyl derivative to quantify lactic acid. The detection limits (signal‐to‐noise ratio = 3) for the examined acids ranged from 0.19 to 1.1 µm , which correspond to 95–550 fmol per injection. The intra‐ and inter‐day precisions of typical, highly polar carboxylic acids were all <9.0%. The developed method was successfully applied to the comprehensive analysis of carboxylic acids in various samples, which included fruit juices, red wine and media from cultured tumor cells. We developed a new type of three-layered skin tissue phantom using silicone material. This phantom maintains its optical properties in a certain period of time, typically about three months, which is much longer than about 30 min with our previous agar-type phantom. Experiments on spectral reflectance measurements and color analysis indicate the possibility of silicone-type skin tissue phantom.  相似文献

Abstract

Substituting metallic or rare-earth atoms or removing O in the superconductor YBa2Cu3O7 usually has a strong effect on the superconducting properties. We have made extensive XAFS studies on Co, Fe, Ni, Zn, Gd, and Pr substituted materials including some thin film samples. In nearly all cases, significant distortions are found. Although the lattice constant change is small (< 0.05 Å) the local distortions can be significant larger (~ 0.1 to 0.3 Å). The observed large local distortions of the lattice together with a change in the charge distribution at a site indicate that the interior of the unit cell is easily distorted. The correlation of a strong Tc suppression with large local distortions suggests that distortions of the nearby layers must play a significant role in models for superconductivity in high Tc materials.  相似文献

We describe the first total synthesis and structural determination of akaterpin, an inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase C (PI-PLC). The key features of the synthetic strategy include a regio- and stereoselective C-alkylation at the angular C1′ position and an exo-selective intermolecular Diels-Alder reaction. The relative stereochemistry was determined by a comparison of the NMR spectra of synthetic akaterpin with those of natural akaterpin.  相似文献

In view of the great importance of two geometrical parameters such as void fraction and interfacial area concentration to the accurate two-phase flow analysis at microgravity conditions, axial developments of flow parameters such as void fraction, interfacial area concentration, bubble Sauter mean diameter, and bubble number density were measured in bubbly flow at microgravity and low liquid Reynolds number conditions where the gravity effect on the flow parameters were pronounced. A total of seven data sets were acquired in the flow range of the void fraction from 1.01% to 3.36% and the liquid Reynolds number from 1,400 to 4,750. The measurements were also performed in the similar flow range at normal gravity conditions. The transport mechanisms of the flow parameters are discussed in detail based on the data measured at normal and microgravity conditions, and the drift-flux model developed at microgravity conditions are compared with the measured data.An erratum to this article can be found at  相似文献
