In the present work 2-formylpyridine-para-chloro-phenyl hydrazone (H2FopClPh) and 2-formylpyridine-para-nitro-phenyl hydrazone (H2FopNO2Ph) were obtained, as well as their copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes [Cu(H2FopClPh)Cl2] (1), [Cu(2FopNO2Ph)Cl] (2), [Zn(H2FopClPh)Cl2] (3) and [Zn(H2FopNO2Ph)Cl2] (4). Upon re-crystallization in DMSO:acetone conversion of 2 into [Cu(2FopNO2Ph)Cl(DMSO)] (2a) and of 4 into [Zn(2FopNO2Ph)Cl(DMSO)] (4a) occurred. The crystal structures of 1, 2a, 3 and 4a were determined.  相似文献

N4-Methyl-4-nitrobenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (H4NO2Fo4M), N4-methyl-4-nitrobenzophenone thiosemicarbazone (H4NO2Bz4M) and their ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(4NO2Fo4M)2(PPh3)2] (1), [Ru(4NO2Bz4M)2(PPh3)2] (2), [Ru(4NO2Fo4M)2(dppb)] (3) and [Ru(4NO2Bz4M)2(dppb)] (4) (dppb = 1,4-bis(diphenylphospine)butane) were obtained and characterized. The crystal structure of H4NO2Fo4M has been determined. Electrochemical studies have shown that the nitro anion radical, one of the proposed intermediates in the mechanism of action of nitro-containing anti-trypanosomal drugs, is formed at approximately −1.00 V in the free thiosemicarbazones as well as in their corresponding ruthenium(II) complexes, suggesting their potential to act as antitrypanosomal drugs. The natural fluorescence of H4NO2Fo4M, H4NO2Bz4M and complexes (1)–(4) provides a way to identify and to monitor their concentration in biological systems.  相似文献

Incoherent inelastic neutron scattering experiments were performed on Na0.7CoO2 and Na0.28CoO2.1.3H2O in order to understand how the dynamics of the hydrogen-bond network of water is modified in the triangular crystalline lattice NaxCoO2.yH2O. Using quasi-elastic neutron scattering (QENS), we were able to differentiate between two types of proton dynamics: a fast process (due to water strongly bound into the sodium cobalt oxyhydrate structure during the hydration process) and a slow process (likely attributable to a collective motion). High-resolution QENS experiments, carried out on Na0.28CoO2.1.3H2O, show that, at temperatures above 310 K, the water dynamics can be well-described by a random jump diffusion model characterized by a diffusion constant equal to 0.9 x 10(-9)m2/s, which is significantly lower than the rate of diffusion for bulk water. Furthermore, our results indicate that, at room temperature, the sodium ions have no influence on the rotational dynamics of the "fast" water molecules.  相似文献

Incoherent inelastic neutron scattering spectra for the three crystalline polymorphs (alpha- P2(1)/n, beta- P2(1), gamma- P3(1)) of glycine (C2H5NO2) at temperatures between 5 and 300 K (using the time-of-flight (ToF) spectrometer NEAT at HMI) and at pressures from ambient up to 1 GPa (using the ToF spectrometer IN6 at the ILL) were measured. Significant differences in the band positions and their relative intensities in the density of states (DoS) were observed for the three polymorphs, which can be related to the different intermolecular interactions. The mean-squared displacement, (T), dependence reveals a change in dynamic properties at about the same temperature (150 K) for all the three forms, which can be related to the reorientation of the NH3 group. Besides, a dynamic transition in beta-glycine at about 230-250 K on cooling was also observed, supporting previously obtained adiabatic calorimetry data. This behavior is similar to that already observed in amorphous solids, on approaching the glass transition temperatures, as well as in biological systems. It suggests the onset of degrees of freedom most likely related to transitions between slightly different conformational orientations. The DoS obtained as a function of pressure has confirmed the stability of the alpha-form with respect to pressure and also depicted a sign of the previously reported reversible beta-beta' glycine phase transition in between 0.6 and 0.8 GPa. Moreover, a remarkable kinetic effect in the pressure-induced phase transition in gamma-glycine was revealed. After the sample was kept at 0.8 GPa for an hour in the neutron beam, an irreversible transition into a high-pressure form (different from the beta'-form) occurred, although previously in X-Ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy experiments a gamma- to delta-glycine phase transition was observed above 3.5 GPa only.  相似文献

This work reports neutron diffraction and incoherent neutron scattering experiments on N-methylacetamide (NMA), which can be considered the model building block for the peptide linkage of polypeptides and proteins. Using the neutron data, we have been able to associate the onset of a striking negative thermal expansion (NTE) along the a-axis with a dynamical transition around 230 K, consistent with our calorimetric experiments. Observation of the NTE raises the question of possible proton transfer in NMA, which, from our data alone, still cannot be settled. We can only speculate that intermolecular repulsive forces increase as the O...H distance decreases upon cooling, and that around 230 K the lattice relaxes without observation of an actual proton transfer. However, the existence of a nonharmonic potential, reflected by the behavior of the phonon vibrations together with the observation of NTE, could be justified by the "vibrational" polaron theory in which a dynamic localization of the vibrational energy is created by coupling an internal molecular mode to a lattice phonon. More generally, this work shows that neutron powder diffraction techniques can be very powerful for investigating structural deformations in small peptide systems.  相似文献

Three imidazole hydrazone compounds, namely 2‐(4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)‐N′‐[1‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)ethylidene]acetohydrazide, C12H12N6O3, ( 1 ), 2‐(2‐nitro‐1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)‐N′‐[1‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)ethylidene]acetohydrazide, C12H12N6O3, ( 2 ), and 2‐(2‐nitro‐1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)‐N′‐[(phenyl)(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]acetohydrazide, C17H14N6O3, ( 3 ), were obtained and fully characterized, including their crystal structure determinations. While all the compounds proved not to be cytotoxic to J774.A1 macrophage cells, ( 1 ) and ( 3 ) exhibited activity against Leishmania chagasi, whereas ( 2 ) was revealed to be inactive. Since both ( 1 ) and ( 3 ) exhibited antileishmanial effects, while ( 2 ) was devoid of activity, the presence of the acetyl or benzoyl groups was possibly not a determining factor in the observed antiprotozoal activity. In contrast, since ( 1 ) and ( 3 ) are 4‐nitroimidazole derivatives and ( 2 ) is a 2‐nitroimidazole‐derived compound, the presence of the 4‐nitro group probably favours antileishmanial activity over the 2‐nitro group. The results suggested that further investigations on compounds ( 1 ) and ( 3 ) as bioreducible antileishmanial prodrug candidates are called for.  相似文献

A comparative study of commercial C18 chemically immobilized on silica and homemade C18, as sorbents for Pb complexed with O,O-diethyl-dithiophosphate (DDTP) in a flow injection preconcentration system is reported. The homemade C18 sorbent was obtained by sorption of poly(methyloctadecylsiloxane) (PMODS) on the silica support followed by immobilization using thermal treatment. The method follows the concept of green chemistry, since there are no toxic residues after synthesis. The complexed Pb was formed in 1.0molL–1 HCl medium and retained on the minicolumn filled with the sorbents. The elution was carried out using ethanol, and the richest 210µL fraction was collected and analyzed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Chemical and flow variables were optimized for each sorbent. The results demonstrated that the performance of the proposed homemade C18 sorbent for preconcentration of Pb complexed with DDTP is very similar to commercial C18 chemically bonded on silica. By processing 25mL, the enrichment factors were 129 and 125 for commercial C18 and homemade C18, respectively. The limit of detection for commercial and homemade C18 was 0.2µgL–1 and 0.6µgL–1, respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was lower than 1.2% for both sorbents for a Pb concentration of 100µgL–1. The method was also applied successfully to the analysis of water samples, and the accuracy was tested by recovery measurements on spiked samples and biological reference material.  相似文献

The cytotoxicity of two nitroheterocyclic compounds (NHCD), Nitracrine, 1-nitro-9(3-3-dimethylaminopropylamino) acridine and Quinifuryl, 2-(5'-nitro-2'-furanyl) ethenyl-4-[N-[4-(N,N-diethylamino)-1'-methylbutyl] carbamoyl] quinoline, towards two lines of leukaemic cells and a line of non-transformed cells, was measured in comparison, on the dark and under illumination with visible light (350-450 nm). Both drugs showed highly elevated cytotoxicity when illuminated with LC(50) values 7-35 times lower after 1 h illumination compared to 1 h incubation of cells incubation with drug on the dark. Cytotoxicity of Nitracrine toward all cell lines studied exceeded that of Quinifuryl, both on the dark and under illumination, so that approximately 10 times lower concentration of former drug was needed to reach the same toxicity as the latter. General toxic effect was calculated as a direct cell kill and a cell proliferation arrest. The effect >80% for both drugs was achieved after 1 h cell illumination with as low drug concentrations as 0.2 microM for Quinifuryl and 0.02 microM for Nitracrine.  相似文献
