Investigation of the formation of complex reaction products in the gas-phase system O3/NO2/(Z)-2-butene by combination of linear reactors with IR. matrix and microwave Stark Spectroscopy is reported. Besides the polyatomic products observed earlier in the gas-phase ozonolysis of (Z)-2-butene, the following products were identified; N2O5, HNO3, HNO4, CH3NO2, CH3ONO, CH3COONO2 and CH3COO2NO2 (peroxyacetyl nitrate, PAN). Matrix IR. spectra of N2O5, HNO3. CH3COONO, CH3COONO2 required for reference purposes are presented. It is shown that PAN-formation occurs already in the absence of light. A reaction scheme is proposed for explanation of the observed complex NOx-containing products, which assumes methyldioxirane as a central intermediate. Particular reaction steps of the scheme will be discussed, including thermochemical estimates of reaction enthalpies.  相似文献

Fifteen new photochromic hybrid materials were synthesized by gas phase loading of fluorinated azobenzenes, namely ortho-tetrafluoroazobenzene (tF-AZB), 4H,4H′-octafluoroazobenzene (oF-AZB), and perfluoroazobenzene (pF-AZB), into the pores of the well-known metal-organic frameworks MOF-5, MIL-53(Al), MIL-53(Ga), MIL-68(Ga), and MIL-68(In). Their composition was analysed by elemental (CHNS) and DSC/TGA. For pF-AZB0.34@MIL-53(Al), a structural model based on high-resolution synchrotron powder diffraction data was developed and the host-guest and guest-guest interactions were elucidated from this model. These interactions of O−H⋅⋅⋅F and π⋅⋅⋅π type were confirmed by significant shifts of the O−H frequencies in loaded and unloaded MOFs of the MIL-53 and MIL-68 series. Most remarkably, all of the synthesized F-AZB@MOF systems can be switched with visible light, and some of them show almost quantitative (>95 %) photo-isomerization between its E and Z forms with no significant fatigue after repeated switching cycles.  相似文献

Soil and vehicle parameters have significant effects on soil rut formation. A randomized design was used to investigate the effects of five treatments: soil texture, soil moisture, vehicle type, turning radius and velocity, on rut depth, rut width and rut index, which measure the degree of soil disturbance. This vehicle rutting study was conducted on four off-road military vehicles under two soil moisture conditions and two soil texture conditions at Fort Riley, Kansas. A GPS-based vehicle tracking system was used to track the vehicle dynamics, and rut measurements were taken manually. SAS 9.1 was used to investigate the effects of soil and vehicle parameters on rut formation. Results show that all the vehicle parameters (vehicle type, weight, velocity and turning radius) and soil parameters (soil texture and moisture) are statistically significant to affect rut formation.  相似文献

The regioisomers (sn-ABA/sn-AAB) of four triacylglycerols (TAGs), 18:2/18:2/18:1 (LLO), 18:2/18:1/18:1 (LOO), 16:0/18:1/18:1 (POO), and 16:0/16:0/18:1 (PPO), were quantified in lard, rapeseed oil, and sunflower seed oil by three different mass spectrometric methods using liquid chromatography (LC) and two different mass spectrometers. The ionization methods used were positive ion atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI), positive ion electrospray ionization (ESI), and negative ion chemical ionization (NICI) with ammonia as the reagent gas. The LC/APCI-MS results with two different instrumentation types, LC/ESI-MS/MS and direct inlet ammonia NICI-MS/MS, were compared. The LC/APCI-MS method is based on the preferential formation of diacylglycerol (DAG) fragment ions during ionization by loss of sn-1/3 fatty acids from [M+H]+ ions. Similar formation of the DAG ions from [M+NH4]+ ions by collision-induced dissociation (CID) in the LC/ESI-MS/MS method and the [M-H--RCOOH-100]- ions from [M-H]- ions by CID in the direct inlet ammonia NICI-MS/MS method is observed. These methods were found to be useful and reliable in determining the regioisomeric structure of TAGs. No statistically significant differences were found between the results obtained with these methods. For LLO, LOO, and POO the proportions of sn-ABA isomer calculated from the results from all four methods were in rapeseed oil 7.7 +/- 6.5, 57.9 +/- 3.3, and 4.5 +/- 6.1%, respectively, and in sunflower seed oil 12.2 +/- 6.9, 34.0 +/- 5.2, and 1.4 +/- 2.8%, respectively. The proportions of ABA of POO and PPO in lard were 95.3 +/- 3.2 and 4.9 +/- 5.6%, respectively. This study also proved that the LC/APCI-MS/MS method examined is not applicable in the quantification of TAG regioisomers because the formation of DAG ions is not clearly dependent on the positional distribution of the fatty acids.  相似文献

It is known that information contained within the filter skirts can provide cues important to speech intelligibility. However, the role of filter slope during temporal smoothing has received little attention. In experiment 1, smoothing filter slope angle was found to have a large effect on the intelligibility of sentences represented by three amplitude-modulated sinusoids. In experiment 2, the use of temporal cues above 16 Hz was examined across various regions of the spectrum. When increases in rate were presented to individual spectral bands, intelligibility only increased when presented in the higher spectral region. This result suggests a greater reliance on higher-rate cues in this region. However, intelligibility was greatest when these cues were distributed across the spectrum, indicating that their effective use is not restricted solely to this region.  相似文献

A single-labeled peptide probe for measuring peptide phosphorylation status was developed by using a phosphate sensitive terbium chelate. The activity of Abl protein tyrosine kinase and T-cell protein Tyrosine phosphatase (TC PTP) was monitored in real time. To study the probe design in detail, variable substrate peptide sequences, where the enzyme target site was located from two to five amino acids apart from the nearest tyrosine residue, were synthesized. The maximum change observed in fluorescence intensity after phosphorylation was up to 320%, when the phosphorylated tyrosine was located two amino acids from the lysine coupled to the phosphate sensitive terbium chelate, demonstrating an excellent performance for a homogeneous assay. Also the longer distance of five amino acids between the phosphorylated tyrosine residue and terbium chelate resulted up to 260% change in fluorescence intensity.

A principle of the short peptide probe (EAI?\Y?\AAPFAK) with phosphate sensitive terbium chelate attached to the lysine side chain is described, which is proved applicable to measure in real time Abl protein tyrosine kinase and T?\cell protein tyrosine phosphatase activities. Enhancement of the terbium fluorescence could be measured upon addition of a phosphor residue to the nearby tyrosine side chain. Oocyte cryopreservation has become an essential tool in the treatment of infertility by preserving oocytes for women undergoing chemotherapy. However, despite recent advances, pregnancy rates from all cryopreserved oocytes remain low. The inevitable use of the cryoprotectants (CPAs) during preservation affects the viability of the preserved oocytes and pregnancy rates either through CPA toxicity or osmotic injury. Current protocols attempt to reduce CPA toxicity by minimizing CPA concentrations, or by minimizing the volume changes via the step-wise addition of CPAs to the cells. Although the step-wise addition decreases osmotic shock to oocytes, it unfortunately increases toxic injuries due to the long exposure times to CPAs. To address limitations of current protocols and to rationally design protocols that minimize the exposure to CPAs, we developed a microfluidic device for the quantitative measurements of oocyte volume during various CPA loading protocols. We spatially secured a single oocyte on the microfluidic device, created precisely controlled continuous CPA profiles (step-wise, linear and complex) for the addition of CPAs to the oocyte and measured the oocyte volumetric response to each profile. With both linear and complex profiles, we were able to load 1.5 M propanediol to oocytes in less than 15 min and with a volumetric change of less than 10%. Thus, we believe this single oocyte analysis technology will eventually help future advances in assisted reproductive technologies and fertility preservation.  相似文献

Too often microclimate studies in the field of cultural heritage are published without any or scarce information on sampling design, sensors (type, number, position) and instrument validation. Lacking of this fundamental information does not allow an open discussion in the scientific community. This work aims to be an invitation for a different approach.Three main parameters (temperature, humidity, luminance) were monitored in a selected part of a complex construction by an inexpensive self-assembled system along some horizontal and vertical vectors. All data was then processed and analyse by chemometric methods. Some measurements of oxygen, carbon monoxide and dioxide and pressure were also performed.Correlation of some indoor and outdoor data was shown for temperature and humidity. In case of outdoor changes the indoor environment reacted with a certain delay which is position-dependent and more evident for humidity data. The two observed rooms (Carcer and Tullianum) behave differently and the hypogean one is less influenced by the outdoor environment. Instrument validation before and after the campaign, allows to consider detected variations as significant.The fundamental importance of Sampling Design and of instrument validation before and after the monitoring campaign was enhanced. The choice of two main and two minor vectors allowed detection of different behaviour for the two rooms, also permitting to detect for both rooms a trend towards a spontaneous microclimate necessary for a conservation project. In the next campaign we will focus on the choice of the best sampling frequency to use more sophisticated statistical methods.  相似文献
