An accurate, simple, fast, and cheap spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of lisinopril in pharmaceutical pure and dosage forms. The method is based on the reaction of ninhydrin with primary amine present in the lisinopril in the presence of DMF. This reaction produces a greenish blue colored product which absorbs maximally at 600 nm. Beer's law was obeyed in the range of 10–150 μg/mL with molar absorptivity of 4.083 × 103 L mole?1 cm?1. The effects of variables such as temperature, heating time, concentration of color producing reagent, and stability of color were investigated to optimize the procedure. The results are validated statistically. The proposed method was applied to commercially available tablets, and the results were statistically compared with the official potentiometric method.  相似文献

Stereoselective synthesis of (1S,3R,5R,7S)-(+)-sordidin, the natural male-produced aggregation pheromone of the banana weevil Cosmopolites sordidus (Germar) starting from 5-benzyloxy-(2E)-pentene-1-ol is described. Bis-thiobarbiturate derivatives 1–15 have been synthesized, characterized by1 HNMR and EI-MS and screened for urease inhibition. All compounds showed various degree of urease inhibitory activity with IC_(50) values ranging 7.45 0.12 74.24 0.81 mmol/L while the standard thiourea behaved normally(IC_(50) = 21.10 0.12). Compounds 1(IC_(50) = 7.45 0.12 μmol/L), 9(IC_(50) = 18.17 1.03 μmol/L) and 13(IC_(50) = 8.61 0.45 μmol/L) showed excellent urease inhibitory activity in the series. Molecular modeling studies were performed to understand the binding site with the bimetallic nickel center of the enzyme.Structure-activity relationship has also been established for these compounds. This study identified bisthiobarbiturate as a novel class of urease inhibitors.  相似文献

Salinity is one of the major threats faced by the modern agriculture today. It causes multidimensional effects on plants. These effects depend upon the plant growth stage, intensity, and duration of the stress. All these lead to stunted growth and reduced yield, ultimately inducing economic loss to the farming community in particular and to the country in general. The soil conditions of agricultural land are deteriorating at an alarming rate. Plants assess the stress conditions, transmit the specific stress signals, and then initiate the response against that stress. A more complete understanding of plant response mechanisms and their practical incorporation in crop improvement is an essential step towards achieving the goal of sustainable agricultural development. Literature survey shows that investigations of plant stresses response mechanism are the focus area of research for plant scientists. Although these efforts lead to reveal different plant response mechanisms against salt stress, yet many questions still need to be answered to get a clear picture of plant strategy to cope with salt stress. Moreover, these studies have indicated the presence of a complicated network of different integrated pathways. In order to work in a progressive way, a review of current knowledge is critical. Therefore, this review aims to provide an overview of our understanding of plant response to salt stress and to indicate some important yet unexplored dynamics to improve our knowledge that could ultimately lead towards crop improvement.  相似文献

The current study was aimed for the study of piperidine-based triazole compounds for their biological potential against various enzymes. A novel library of compounds, 9a-r , having piperidine, 1,2,4-triazole, and propanamides was synthesized through consecutive steps including the formation of sulfonamide, hydrazide, 1,2,4-triazole, and thio-ether. Initially, 4-methoxybenzenesulfonyl chloride ( 1 ) and ethyl isonipecotate ( 2 ) were utilized to develop ethyl 1-(4-methoxyphenylsulfonyl)-4-piperidinecarboxylate ( 3 ). The product 3 was converted into respective hydrazide ( 4 ) which was further cyclized into 1,2,4-triazole ( 5 ) nucleus. A series of propanamides, 8a-r , were synthesized from different amines, 6a-r . These electrophiles, 8a-r , were reacted with compound 5 under conventional and microwave-assisted protocols to acquire the library of hybrids, 9a-r . The structural confirmations were availed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and IR techniques. The whole series was evaluated for biological potential against acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and α-glucosidase enzymes. The biological evaluation ranges low to high in potential for different compounds based on the structural variations of synthesized compounds. Almost all the compounds remained active against both the enzymes except a few ones. The bovine serum albumin (BSA) binding study demonstrated the flow of drug in the body, and the docking study explained the interactions responsible for active behavior of synthesized compounds.  相似文献

The Ammi majus seeds oil constituents of methyl ester derivatives of fatty acids were analyzed using Gas Chromatography coupled to mass spectrometer. The results obtained containing the saturated as well as unsaturated fatty acids of majus seeds oils. A total of 18 different components were identified and quantified. Methyl ester of linoleic acid was found in high concentration 9.00%, among the identified analytes of interest. In addition methyl ester of Oleic acid 5.60%, Palmitic acid 3.98% Linolenic acids 1.42% were found. Concentration of the rest of identified fatty acids analytes were less than 1%. Thus from the results it is apparent that due to the presence of high percentage of valuable analytes concentrations detected in the fatty acid of A. majus, has increased its importance for the consumption in the pharmaceuticals as well as its applications in the new formulations for various skin diseases to prevent and cure from different infections.  相似文献

The thermal behavior of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) was studied in the presence of AlBr3 using TG-DTA-DTG, IR and Py-GC-MS techniques. Degradation products were identified. It was found that PMMA started degrading at a lower temperature due to the generation of free radicals (Br), being the product of decomposition of AlBr3. Despite early destabilization of the system, stabilization zone was also highlighted. Flammability test was conducted to check the affectivity of AlBr3. Degradation mechanism has been proposed. Pyrolysis of the system (PMMA–AlBr3) was also monitored by heating it at different temperatures.  相似文献

The translocation of α-helix chains through a nanopore is studied through Langevin dynamics simulations. The α-helix chains exhibit several different characteristics about their average translocation times and the α-helix structures when they transport through the nanopores under the driving forces. First, the relationship between average translocation times τ and the chain length N satisfies the scaling law, τ~N(α), and the scaling exponent α depends on the driving force f for the small forces while it is close to the Flory exponent (ν) in the other force regions. For the chains with given chain lengths, it is observed that the dependence of the average translocation times can be expressed as τ~f(-1/2) for the small forces while can be described as τ~f in the large force regions. Second, for the large driving force, the average number of α-helix structures N(h) decreases first and then increases in the translocation process. The average waiting time of each bead, especially of the first bead, is also dependent on the driving forces. Furthermore, an elasticity spring model is presented to reasonably explain the change of the α-helix number during the translocation and its elasticity can be locally damaged by the large driving forces. Our results demonstrate the unique behaviors of α-helix chains transporting through the pores, which can enrich our insights into and knowledge on biopolymers transporting through membranes.  相似文献

The adsorption behavior of iron phthalocyanine (FePc) on the Cu(100) surface at the initial stage has been investigated by combining scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. At low coverage, FePc molecules deposited on the sample surface at room temperature tend to adsorb dispersedly with their molecular planes parallel to the crystallographic directions of the substrate. Another interesting STM observation for the sub-monolayer coverage is that the molecular axes of FePc are aligned along [037] (as well as 03¯7) azimuth. At the monolayer coverage and elevated temperature, two types of ordered structures are observed. The FePc adsorption sites for the experimentally observed two distinct ordered domains have been revealed through DFT calculations. With further increasing the coverage, molecular clusters are formed particularly near the step edges.  相似文献

The aim of this present paper is to construct exact solutions corresponding to the motion of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) fluid in the presence of Hall current, due to cosine and sine oscillations of a rigid plate as well as those induced by an oscillating pressure gradient. A uniform magnetic field is applied transversely to the flow. By using Fourier sine transform steady state and transient solutions are presented. These solutions satisfy the governing equations and all associated initial and boundary conditions. The results for a hydrodynamic second grade fluid can be obtained as a limiting case when B 0 → 0 and for a Newtonian fluid when α 1 → 0.  相似文献
