Three new binuclear vanadium(V) complexes of bis(aryl)adipohydrazones (H4L1 = bis((2-hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)adipohydrazide, H4L2 = bis(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)adipohydrazide, and H4L3 = bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)adipohydrazide) were synthesized by direct reaction of [VO(acac)2] with the hydrazone ligands. The ligands and complexes were characterized by FT–IR, UV–Vis, and NMR spectroscopic methods.
The crystal structures of the complexes of L1 and L3 were determined by X-ray analyses. The solid-state structure of the complex of L1 features a 1D hydrogen-bonded chain from N⋯H–O hydrogen bonding. The catalytic activities of these complexes have been tested
in the oxidation of various hydrocarbons using H2O2 as the terminal oxidant. Generally, good to excellent conversions have been obtained. 相似文献

Thymus vulgaris, (Lamiaceae), essential oils composition and yield, were found to be greatly influenced by water stress and growth enhancers. Therefore, three controlled cultivation conditions were applied to achieve the highest essential oil productivity of T. vulgaris. The essential oils obtained by hydro-distillation of the aerial parts were analyzed using (GC-MS). The tested plant subjected to drought showed a 66% increase in the essential oil yield, while those subjected to drought stress and foliar spray showed 57.1% increase and the regularly irrigated group with foliar spraying showed 23.8% increase relative to the control group. The cytotoxic activity of T. vulgaris essential oils was evaluated against lung (A-549), colon (HCT-116), intestinal (CACO2) and breast (MCF-7) carcinoma using the cell viability assay. The lowest IC50 values 0.44 and 0.33 μg/mL were seen against (HCT-116) and (CACO2) cells respectively. These IC50 values were lower than that of doxorubicin used as reference drug. 相似文献

In this paper we report the construction of a hollow microtubular triazine‐ and benzobisoxazole‐based covalent organic framework (COF) presenting a sponge‐like shell through a template‐free [3+2] condensation of the planar molecules 2,4,6‐tris(4‐formylphenyl)triazine (TPT‐3CHO) and 2,5‐diaminohydroquinone dihydrochloride (DAHQ‐2HCl). The synthesized COF exhibited extremely high crystallinity, a high surface area (ca. 1855 m2 g?1), and ultrahigh thermal stability. Interestingly, a time‐dependent study of the formation of the hollow microtubular COF having a sponge‐like shell revealed a transformation from initial ribbon‐like crystallites into a hollow tubular structure, and confirmed that the hollow nature of the synthesized COF was controlled by inside‐out Ostwald ripening, while the non‐interaction of the crystallites on the outer surface was responsible for the sponge‐like surface of the tubules. This COF exhibited significant supercapacitor performance: a high specific capacitance of 256 F g?1 at a current density of 0.5 A g?1, excellent cycling stability (98.8 % capacitance retention over 1850 cycles), and a high energy density of 43 Wh kg?1. Such hollow structural COFs with sponge‐like shells appear to have great potential for use as high‐performance supercapacitors in energy storage applications. 相似文献

The influence of coating of 5.0 (w/w%) Cu/γ‐Al2O3 catalyst by different ratios of polystyrene on the physicochemical and textural properties was studied. The physicochemical and textural properties of polystyrene‐`Cu/γ‐Al2O3 catalysts were investigated by N2 adsorption, O2 chemisorption, FTIR, XRD, TEM, and SEM. In addition, the kinetics of H2O2 decomposition as a model redox reaction over polymer coated and uncoated catalysts was investigated. The highest activity was achieved by 0.06 wt% polystyrene‐5.0Cu/γ‐Al2O3 catalyst. The parent 5.0Cu/γ‐Al2O3 catalyst showed auto‐catalytic first order mechanism, which was subjected to a pronounced modification to a simple first order one upon coating by polystyrene. This modification in the mechanism was accompanied with an increase in the apparent activation energy of the reaction. The observed high activity of 0.06 wt% polystyrene‐5.0Cu/γ‐Al2O3 catalyst was attributed to the role of polymer in enhancement of the degree of dispersion of the surface copper. However, the modification in kinetics of the reaction was attributed to the difference in the nature of Cu active sites namely, the polymer protected the metallic copper species on the surface of γ‐Al2O3 support against possible oxidation to copper sub‐oxides and/or that polymer might change the hydrophilic properties of the reaction media. 相似文献

An efficient Hantzsch four-component condensation reaction for the synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives was reported under two conditions: solvent-free conventional heating and energy-saving microwave irradiation. A one-pot, multicomponent reaction of aldehydes, dimedone, and β-naphthols is described for the preparation of 12-aryl- or 12-alkyl-8,9,10,12-tetrahydrobenzo[α]xanthen-11-one derivatives using ammonium chloride as a mild, inexpensive, and environmentally benign catalyst under solvent-free conditions. Different types of aldehyde and β-naphthol derivatives are used in the reaction, and in all cases the products were synthesized successfully.

The electrochemical behaviour of hydrazine at a 1‐benzyl‐4‐ferrocenyl‐1H‐[1,2,3]‐triazole‐triazole/carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode has been studied. The modified electrode shows an excellent electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of hydrazine and accelerates electron transfer rate. The electrocatalytic current increases linearly with hydrazine concentration in the range 0.5–700.0 μm and the detection limit for hydrazine was 33.0 ± 2.0 nm . The diffusion coefficient (D = 2.5 ± 0.1 × 10?5 cm2 s?1) and kinetic parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient, (α = 0.52) and the heterogeneous rate constant (k′ = 5.5 ± 0.1 × 10?3 cm s?1) for hydrazine were determined using electrochemical approaches. Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) is an organic compound thatis used to increase the gasoline octane number. At the beginning of 1980s, by discovering the undesirable effects of tetra ethyl lead usage in fuel, MTBE began to be used worldwide. But gradually the undesirable effects of MTBE on environment had been revealed. Adsorption is the most conventional and economical technology for MTBE removal from polluted water. In this research, some experiments have been done for studying the adsorption of MTBE on different solid adsorbent in continuous processes. In continuous experiments, the water polluted with known initial MTBE concentration passes through an adsorption column containing two kinds of adsorbent including granular activated carbon (GAC), powdered activated carbon (PAC). By measuring MTBE concentration in exit flow at different times the effect of different operating parameters such as temperature, pH, and flow rate have been studied and the optimum condition have been determined. The batch experimental results have been used to calculate the constant parameters of Langmuir adsorption isotherm equations. A dynamic simulation of MTBE adsorption on activated carbon in an adsorption column has been proposed. The comparison of the experimental data with the values given by the proposed model for similar operating conditions, verifies the accuracy of the proposed mathematical model. 相似文献
