This study aimed to investigate effects of the thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD) size and type on the absorbed dose value by using of Monte Carlo calculations. The options in creating conditions to establish the kerma approximation were also studied. The Monte Carlo N-Particle (MCNPX 2.4.0) transport code was used to design simulations. Results of this work indicate that if common mineral materials of TLDs are replaced by air and a huge volume is applied for the TLD, the accurate assessment of absorbed doses is possible while the photon energy fluence in the TLD cell is convoluted with mass energy absorption coefficients of the real TLD material. The hydrazide obtained from furan-2(3H)-one integrated with a quinolin-2(1H)-one core reported previously by our research group was utilized as a building block synthon to obtain some pyrrolone, pyridazinone, oxadiazole, and triazole derivatives through treating with some carbon electrophilic reagents, for example, chloroacetyl chloride, benzoyl chloride, acetic anhydride, carbon disulfide, 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, and 2-oxoquinolin-3-carbaldehyde to achieve the target heterocycles. The newly synthesized compounds were evaluated as immunomodulator against highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (H5N8). A highly sensitive method is proposed to determine copper(II) ions by forming a stable complex through their interaction with
4-(2′-benzothiazolylazo)-salicylic acid (BTAS) at room temperature and pH of about 5.0. The complex gave a maximum absorption
at λ = 485 nm with a molar absorptivity coefficient of 2.35·104 l/(mol·cm). The linear range for the copper determination is 0.63–5.04 mg/l. The method can be applied to determine copper

A family of 3,4-dihydropyrano[3,2-c]chromenes were synthesized from 4-hydroxycoumarin and malononitrile via a one-pot reaction under solvent-free conditions at 100 °C catalyzed by Ni@Imine-Li+-MMT. This methodology tolerates most of the substrates and has the merits of lower loading of the catalyst, absence of solvents, excellent yields and reusability of the catalyst. A reasonable mechanism is also proposed. This catalytic system can be reused for at least five times with a negligible loss of activity. A new optical chemical sensor has been developed for the selective determination of copper(II) ions in aqueous solutions. The reversible sensing system was prepared by incorporating 1-hydrpxy-2-(prop-2'-enyl)-4-(prop-2'-enyloxy)-9,10-anthraquinone (AQ) as a neutral Cu2+-selective fluoroionophore in the plasticized PVC membrane with potassium tetrakis(p-chlorophenyl borate) as an anionic additive. The response of the sensor is based on the fluorescence quenching of AQ by Cu2+ ions. At a pH 5.5, the proposed sensor displays a calibration response for Cu2+ over a wide concentration rang of 1.0 x 10(-2) to 1.0 x 10(-6) M, with a relatively fast response of less than 40 s. In addition to high stability and reproducibility, the sensor shows a unique selectivity towards Cu2+ ion with respect to common co-existing cations. The proposed fluorescence optode was applied successfully to the determination of copper(II) in black tea samples. 相似文献

Facilitated transport of silver ion across a supported liquid membrane (SLM) by calix[4]pyrroles, as selective ion carriers, dissolved in kerosene has been investigated. The influences of fundamental parameters affecting the transport of silver ion including ion carrier concentration in the membrane phase, thiosulfate concentration in strip phase, picric acid concentration in the feed phase, stirring speed of aqueous phases, type of membrane solvent and time of transport have been studied. In the presence of thiosulfate as a suitable metal ion acceptor in the strip phase and picrate ion as ion pairing agent in the source phase, transport of silver occurs almost quantitatively after 75 min. The selectivity and efficiency of silver transport from aqueous solution containing Cu2+, Mg2+, Ni2+, Ca2+, Zn2+, Pb2+, Co2+, Al3+, Hg2+, Cd2+, Fe3+, Fe2+ and Cr3+ were investigated. 相似文献

We report on the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles (PNPs) containing a tetrakis(3-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin, and their use for the separation of mercury(II) ion. The PNPs were prepared by bulk polymerization from methacrylic acid (the monomer), ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (the cross-linker), 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile (the radical initiator) and the mercury(II) complex of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-hydroxyphenyl)-porphyrin. The Hg(II) ion was then removed by treatment with dilute hydrochloric acid. The PNPs were characterized by colorimetry, FT-IR spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. The material is capable of binding Hg(II) from analyte samples. Bound Hg(II) ions can be eluted with dilute nitric acid and then quantified by cold vapor AAS. The extraction efficiency, the effects of pH, preconcentration and leaching times, sample volume, and of the nature, concentration and volume of eluent were investigated. The maximum adsorption capacity of the PNPs is 249 mg g?1, the relative standard deviation of the AAS assay is 2.2 %, and the limit of detection (3σ) is 8 ng.L?1. The nanoparticles exhibit excellent selectivity for Hg(II) ion over other metal ions and were successfully applied to the selective extraction and determination of Hg(II) ion in spiked water samples. Reaction of 6‐amino‐2‐thiouracil 1 with ethyl bromoacetate yielded ethyl 2‐(7‐amino‐2,5‐dioxo‐3,5‐dihydro‐2H‐thiazolo[3,2‐a]pyrimidin‐6‐yl)acetate 2 . Reaction of 2 with sodium ethoxide afforded the pyrrolothiazolopyrimidine derivative 3 . Compound 2 reacted with hydrazine hydrate to give 7‐amino‐thiazolopyrimidine‐carbohydrazide 4 . The latter compound 4 reacted with carbon disulphide to form 7‐amino‐6‐(oxadiazolylmethyl) thiazolopyrimidine 5 . Compound 5 was heated in methanol to yield 9‐thioxotriazolopyrrolothiazolopyrimidine 6 . Also, the reaction of 3 with aromatic aldehydes afforded the diarylmethylenepyrrolothiazolopyrimidine derivatives 7a‐c . The latter compounds 7a‐c underwent cyclocondensation with hydroxylamine to give diaryldioxazolopyrrolothiazolopyrimidine derivatives 8a‐c .
