The irradiation of the title compounds [(Z)-1] having (S)-(+)-sec-butyl, (−)-mentyl and related chiral auxiliaries in methanol and 1,2-dichloroethane containing 2-(diethylamino)ethanol afforded chiral auxiliary-substituted (4S,5S)-, (4R,5R)-, (4R,5S)- and (4S,5R)-4,5-dihydrooxazole derivatives (2) along with (E)-1. It was found that the photoinduced electron transfer-initiated cyclization of 1 gives either of the two diastereomers for cis-2 and trans-2 in diastereomeric excess whose value varies from 6% to 81% depending on solvent and chiral auxiliary.  相似文献

A novel method for the simultaneous detection of ingredients in pharmaceutical applications such as creams and lotions was developed. An ultrasonic atomizer has been used to produce a mist containing ingredients. The analyte molecules in the mist can be ionized by using direct analysis in real time (DART) at lower temperature than traditionally used, and we thus solved the problem of normal DART-MS measurement using a high-temperature gas. Thereby, molecular-related ions of heat-unstable components and nonvolatile components became detectable. The deprotonated molecular ion of glycyrrhizic acid (m/z 821), which is unstable at high temperatures, was detected without pyrolysis by ultrasonic mist–DART-MS using unheated helium gas, although it was not detected by normal DART-MS using heated helium gas. The cationized molecular ions of derivatives of polyethylene glycol fatty acid monoesters, which are nonvolatile compounds, were also detected as m/z peaks observed from 800 to 2300. Although the protonated molecular ion of tocopherol acetate was not detected in ionization by ultrasonic mist, it was detected by ultrasonic mist–DART-MS even in the emulsion. It was not necessary to dissolve a sample completely to detect its ions. This method enabled us to obtain the composition of pharmaceutical applications simply and rapidly.

Vibrational sum frequency generation (SFG) spectroscopy was applied to study the phase transitions of the mixed monolayers of l-alpha-distearoyl phosphatidylethanolamine (DSPE) and DSPE covalently coupled with poly(ethylene oxide) at the amino head group (DSPE-EO(45), DSPE with 45 ethylene oxide monomers) at the air-water interface. The SFG spectra were measured for the mixed monolayers with the mole fractions of DSPE-EO(45) of 0, 1.3, 4.5, 9.0, 12.5, and 16.7% at the surface pressures of 5, 15, and 35 mN/m. The monolayer compression isotherms indicated that the mixed monolayers at 5, 15, are 35 mN/m are mainly in the so-called "pancake", "mushroom", and "brush" states, respectively. The SFG spectra in the OH stretching vibration region give rise to SFG bands near 3200 and 3400 cm(-1). The mean molecular amplitude of the former band due to the OH stretching of the "icelike" water molecules associated mainly with the hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) chains, exhibits appreciable decrease on compression of the mixed monolayers from 5 to 15 mN/m. The result corroborates the model for the pancake-mushroom transition, which presumes the dissolution of the PEO chains from the air-water interface to the water subphase. Further compression of the mixed monolayers to 35 mN/m causes a slight decrease of the line amplitude, which can be explained by considering a squeezing out of water molecules from the hydrophilic groups of DSPE-EO(45) in the brush state, where the PEO chains strongly interact with each other to form a tight binding state of the hydrophilic groups. The relative intensities of the SFG bands due to the CH3 asymmetric and symmetric vibrations were used to estimate the tilt angles of the terminal methyl group of DSPE, indicating that the angle increases with increasing the mole fraction of DSPE-EO(45). The angles almost saturate at the mole fraction larger than 10%, the saturation angle being nearly 90 degrees at 5 mN/m, ca. 60 degrees at 15 mN/m, and ca. 47 degrees at 35 mN/ m. Then, the introduction of the hydrophilic PEO head group causes a large tilting of the alkyl groups of DEPE in the mixed monolayers.  相似文献

Imagining a medium composed of an arbitrary distribution of point-like heterogeneities, we study the reconstruction of scattered waves in Green's function derived from the cross-correlation function of waves excited by random noise sources of which the distribution is stationary and homogeneous. We show that the reconstruction process is intimately related to generalized forms of the optical theorem. The role of absorption in the formulation of the theorem is discussed. The reconstruction of multiply-scattered arrivals from the cross-correlation of two random wavefields is demonstrated to all orders of scattering for the simple case of two point scatterers, through application of the optical theorem for a single scatterer. In the case of N point scatterers, the cross-correlation of two Green's functions is expressed in the form of Feynman-like diagrams. The wavepaths that contribute to the reconstruction of an arbitrary multiply-scattered arrival of Green's function are identified. Repeated application of the generalized optical theorem, formulated as a diagrammatic rule, demonstrates the destructive interference between all spurious multiply-scattered arrivals.  相似文献

Sialic acids are electronegatively charged C9-sugars and are considered to play important roles in higher animals and some microorganisms. Denoting their significance, understanding and exploiting the complexity of the sialic acids has been referred to as the "the third language of life". In essence, "sialic acid derivatives possess a harmonious shape and good balance between two opposing hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts, meaning that they should display various kinds of potentially unique and possibly conflicting physiological activities (glycolipoids)". Consequently, there are good omens that unprecedented 'miracle' medicines could be developed from sialic acid derivatives. In this review, the first problem, the preparation of sialic acids, is covered, the synthesis of sialic acid derivatives and confirmation of their structures obviously being of critical significance. In addition we needed to confirm their precise stereochemistry and a hydrolysis method has been developed for confirmation of the anomeric position. Several of the compounds have already demonstrated interesting bioactivity.  相似文献

Single enantiomers of 1,8-di(1-adamantyl)naphthalenes were synthesized by the [4+2]cycloaddition reaction of 6-adamantylbenzyne and 2-adamantylfuran. The enantiomers were resolved by conversion into diastereomeric ketopinic acid esters. The absolute configuration was determined by X-ray analysis. Kinetic studies by CD revealed an enantiomerization barrier of 29 kcal mol(-1) for 1,8-(1-adamantyl)naphthalenes.  相似文献

Efficient pulse sequences for measuring long-range C-H coupling constants (J(C-H)) and proton-proton spin coupling constants (J(H-H)), named BIRD-J-resolved HMBC and BIRD-high-resolution HMBC, respectively, have been developed. In spin systems possessing a secondary methyl group positioned between protonated carbons (e.g. -CH(2)-CH(CH(3))-CH(2)-), the methine proton splits in a complicated fashion, resulting in difficulty in the determination of its spin coupling constants. For easy and accurate measurements of the long-range J(C-H) and J(H-H) in such a spin system, the BIRD pulse [90°x(H)-180°x (H/C)- 90° (-x)(H)] or [90°x(H)-180°x(H/C)-90° (-x)(H)180°x(C)] is incorporated into the J-resolved portion of the pulse sequence. As a result, the above secondary methyl group can be selectively decoupled, providing simplified cross-peak patterns, which are suitable for the accurate measurements of the long-range J(C-H) and J(H-H).  相似文献

Visible‐light‐driven H2 evolution based on Dye/TiO2/Pt hybrid photocatalysts was investigated for a series of (E)‐3‐(5′‐{4‐[bis(4‐R1‐phenyl)amino]phenyl}‐4,4′‐(R2)2‐2,2′‐bithiophen‐5‐yl)‐2‐cyanoacrylic acid dyes. Efficiencies of hydrogen evolution from aqueous suspensions in the presence of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid as electron donor under illumination at λ>420 nm were found to considerably depend on the hydrophilic character of R1, varying in the order MOD (R1=CH3OCH2, R2=H)≈ MO4D (R1=R2=CH3OCH2)> HD (R1=R2=H)> PD (R1=C3H7, R2=H). In the case of MOD /TiO2/Pt, the apparent quantum yield for photocatalyzed H2 generation at 436 nm was 0.27±0.03. Transient absorption measurements for MOD ‐ or PD ‐grafted transparent films of TiO2 nanoparticles dipped into water at pH 3 commonly revealed ultrafast formation (<100 fs) of the dye radical cation (Dye.+) followed by multicomponent decays, which involve minor fast decays (<5 ps) almost independent of R1 and major slower decays with significant differences between the two samples: 1) the early decay of the major components for MOD is about 2.5 times slower than that for PD and 2) a redshift of the spectrum occurred for MOD with a time constant of 17 ps, but not for PD . The substituent effects on H2 generation as well as on transient behavior have been discussed in terms substituent‐dependent charge recombination (CR) of Dye.+ with electrons in bulk, inner‐trap, and/or interstitial‐trap states, arising from different solvent reorganization.  相似文献

Five SNPs in the human DNase II gene have been reported to be associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Genotype and haplotype analysis of 14 SNPs, nine SNPs of which reported in the NCBI dbSNP database in addition to these five SNPs, was performed in healthy subjects. The enzymatic activities of the amino acid substituted DNase II corresponding to each SNP and serum DNase II in healthy Japanese, and promoter activities derived from each haplotype of the RA‐related SNPs were measured. Significant correlations between genotype in each RA‐related SNP and enzymatic activity levels were found; alleles associated with RA exhibited a reduction in serum DNase II activity. Furthermore, the promoter activities of each reporter construct corresponding to predominant haplotypes in three SNPs in the promoter region of the gene exhibited significant correlation with levels of serum DNase II activity. These findings indicate these three SNPs could alter the promoter activity of DNASE2, leading to a decline in DNase II activity in the serum through gene expression. Since the three SNPs in the promoter region of the DNase II gene could affect in vivo DNase II activity through reduction of the promoter activity, it is feasible to identify these SNPs susceptible to RA.  相似文献
