We experimentally demonstrate a Raman fiber laser based on multiple point-action fiber Bragg grating reflectors and distributed feedback via Rayleigh scattering in an ~22-km-long optical fiber. Twenty-two lasing lines with spacing of ~100 GHz (close to International Telecommunication Union grid) in the C band are generated at the watt level. In contrast to the normal cavity with competition between laser lines, the random distributed feedback cavity exhibits highly stable multiwavelength generation with a power-equalized uniform distribution, which is almost independent on power.  相似文献

The aim of IMEP is to present objectively the quality of chemical measurements. Participants in IMEP compare their reported measurement results with independent external certified reference values with demonstrated traceability and uncertainty, as evaluated according to international guidelines. IMEP-19 focused on measurements of trace elements in rice aiming to support the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 466/2001 on maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuff. Measurement results for the elements Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn were reported by 267 field laboratories involved in food analysis from 43 countries. Performance criteria for the evaluation of the reported measurement results in IMEP-19 are suggested. The chosen performance indicators not only take into account the deviation of the reported measurement value from the certified reference value, but also set criteria for maximum and minimum acceptable uncertainty. The IMEP-19 participants' performance is reviewed by means of using new simple graphical tools, called "Naji plots".  相似文献

Presence of unresolved ion mobility (IM) profiles limits the efficient utilization of IM mass spectrometry (IM-MS) systems for isomer differentiation. Here, we introduce an automated ion mobility deconvolution (AIMD) computer software for streamlined deconvolution of overlapped IM-MS profiles. AIMD is based on a previously reported post-IM/collision-induced dissociation (CID) deconvolution approach [J. Am. Soc. Mass Spectrom. 23, 1873 (2012)] and, unlike the previously reported manual approach, it does not require resampling of post-IM/CID data. A novel data preprocessing approach is utilized to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the deconvolution process. Results from AIMD analysis of overlapped IM profiles of data from (1) Waters Synapt G1 for a binary mixture of isomeric peptides (amino acid sequences: GRGDS and SDGRG) and (2) Waters Synapt G2-S for a binary mixture of isomeric trisaccharides (raffinose and isomaltotriose) are presented. The self‐diffusion coefficients of each component in mixtures of 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide ([Bmim][N(SO2CF3)2]) and acetonitrile were determined. The results suggest that the hydrodynamic boundary conditions change from “stick” to “slip” as the solvent composition transitions from “ionic liquid dissolved in acetonitrile” (χIL<0.4) to “acetonitrile dissolved in ionic liquid” (χIL>0.4). At higher χIL, the acetonitrile species are affected by “cage” and “jump” events, as the acetonitrile molecules reside nearer to the charged centre on the ions than in the “non‐polar” regions. The self‐diffusion coefficients of hexan‐1‐amine, dipropylamine, 1‐hexanol and dipropylether in mixtures of [Bmim][N(SO2CF3)2] and acetonitrile were determined. In general, the nitrogen‐containing solutes were found to diffuse slower than the oxygen‐containing solutes; this indicates that there are greater ionic liquid–N interactions than ionic liquid–O interactions. This work demonstrates that the self‐diffusion coefficients of species can provide valuable information about solvent–solvent and solvent–solute interactions in mixtures containing an ionic liquid.  相似文献

We study convolution operators on weighted Lebesgue spaces and obtain weight characterisations for boundedness of these operators with certain kernels. Our main result is Theorem 3 which enables us to obtain results for certain kernel functions supported on bounded intervals; in particular we get a direct proof of the known characterisations for Steklov operators in Section 3 by using the weighted Hardy inequality. Our methods also enable us to obtain new results for other kernel functions in Section 4. In Section 5 we demonstrate that these convolution operators are related to operators arising from the Weiss Conjecture (for scalar-valued observation functionals) in linear systems theory, so that results on convolution operators provide elementary examples of nearly bounded semigroups not satisfying the Weiss Conjecture. Also we apply results on the Weiss Conjecture for contraction semigroups to obtain boundedness results for certain convolution operators.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a discrete version of the Weiss Conjecture. In Section 1 we discuss the Reproducing Kernel Thesis and in Section 2 we introduce the operators which concern us. Section 3 shows how to relate these operators to Carleson embeddings and weighted composition operators, so that we can apply the Carleson measure theorem to obtain conditions for boundedness and compactness of many weighted composition operators. Section 4 contains Theorem 4.4 which is a discrete version of the Weiss Conjecture for contraction semigroups, and finally Section 5 shows how the usual (continuous time) Weiss Conjecture is related to the discrete version studied here; in fact they are equivalent (for scalar valued observation operators). The main advantage of the discrete version is that it is technically simpler – the observation operators are automatically bounded and the functional calculus can be achieved using power series.  相似文献
