Summary An attractive and simple method has been developed for the preparation of ammonium [14C]thiocyanate from [14C]thiourea which eliminates the necessity of handling highly hazardous potassium [14C] cyanide. [14C]thiourea was isomerized to ammonium [14C]thiocyanate by heating the aqueous solution of thiourea (12%) in a sealed tube at 160 °C for 24 hours. The product formed was purified by silica-gel column chromatography. A radiochemical yield of 92.7% was obtained based on [14C]thiourea. The specific activity of the product obtained was 53.3 mCi/mmol (1.97 GBq/mmol) and the radiochemical purity was greater than 99%. This method has not been reported so far for the production of this labeled compound.  相似文献

CdSe:In films were prepared by electron beam evaporation technique using CdSe and In2Se3 (purity ∼99.9%) pellets. The crystal structure of the films with and without Indium, measured by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), showed a typical wurtzite structure, higher Indium doping shifts the peak angle to higher side along with the broadening of the peaks. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) studies indicated binding energies corresponding to 54 eV (Se3d5/2), 444 eV (In 3d5/2), 411 eV (Cd 3d3/2), (Cd 3d5/2). Atomic force microscope (AFM) studies indicated a uniform surface.The grain size decreases with increase of In doping. A decrease in the band gap was observed with increase of dopant concentration. Resistivity of the films is in the range of 10‐3 Ωcm. Carrier density was in the range of 1021 cm‐3 for the films. The photolumineasenec spectra (PL) spectra indicated three peaks. Quaternary ammonium salts were synthesized in moderate to good yields through double oxidative C−H bond activation on azobenzenes. The mechanism of the highly regioselective reaction of 2-azobiaryls with alkenes to give orange-red-fluorescent cinnolino[2,3-f]phenanthridin-9-ium salts and 15H-cinnolino[2,3-f]phenanthridin-9-ium-10-ide is proposed to involve ortho C−H olefination of the 2-azobiaryl compound with the alkene, intramolecular aza-Michael addition, concerted metalation–deprotonation (CMD), reductive elimination, and oxidation.  相似文献

The phase transfer catalyzed synthesis of 2-Mercaptobenzimidazole derivatives using the new active phase transfer reagent namely, 2-benzilidine-N,N,N,N',N',N'-hexaethyl propane-1,3-dimonium dibromide (Dq-Br) have been described. An efficient and convenient method for the synthesis of highly substituted polycyclic pyridinium salts from the reaction of various 2‐aryl‐pyridines and 2‐aryl‐sp2‐nitrogen‐atom‐containing heterocycles with alkynes through rhodium(III)‐catalyzed C? H activation and annulation under an O2 atmosphere is described. A possible mechanism that involves the chelation‐assisted C? H activation of the 2‐aryl‐pyridine substrate, insertion of the alkyne, and reductive elimination is proposed. This mechanism was supported by the isolation of a five‐membered rhodacycle ( I′ ). In addition, kinetic isotope studies were performed to understand the intimate reaction mechanism.  相似文献

The fermentative production of rhamnolipid biosurfactant from Pseudomonas aeruginosa MTCC 2297 was carried out by submerged fermentation using various cost-effective waste materials such as orange peelings, carrot peel waste, lime peelings, coconut oil cake, and banana waste. The orange peel was found to be the best substrate generating 9.18 g/l of rhamnolipid biosurfactant with a surface tension reduction up to 31.3 mN/m. The production was growth independent, and optimum conditions were standardized. The emulsifying activity was highest against kerosene (73.3%). Rhamnolipid components were purified and separated by ethyl acetate extraction, preparative silica gel column chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography and thin-layer chromatography. The major rhamnolipid components were characterized, by fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry, as a mixture of dirhamnolipids and monorhamnolipids.  相似文献

Alcaligenes sp. d2 isolated from soil was earlier reported as a potent phenol-degrading organism. In the Fourier transform/infrared spectroscopic analysis of the biodegraded sample, the aromatic stretching was missing and the spectrum gave evidence for the presence of polyhydroxybutyric acid along with its depolymerized products. In the gas chromatogram of the biodegraded sample, the peak of phenol at 14.997 min was absent and there were many peaks after 20 min. The organism could carry out 100% degradation of phenol in 32 h and could progressively result in early accumulation of polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) intracellularly from 8 h onwards. The various conditions optimized for the maximum accumulation of intracellular PHB were pH 7.0, incubation time 24 h, phenol concentration 15 mg/100 ml, and ammonium sulfate concentration 25 mg/100 ml.  相似文献

ITO thin films were deposited on quartz substrates by the rf sputtering technique using various rf power keeping the substrates at room temperature. The influence of rf power on the structural, electrical, optical and morphological properties was studied by varying the rf power in the range 50–350 W. X-ray diffraction results show an amorphous – crystalline transition with nano grains. At a power of 250 W, the ITO film showed preferential orientation along (4 0 0) peak. It is observed from the optical transmission studies that the optical band gap increased from 3.57 to 3.69 eV when the rf power was increased from 50 to 250 W. The resistivity value is minimum and grain size is maximum for the ITO film deposited at 250 W. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and Atomic force microscopy AFM results confirm that the ITO films are stoichiometric and the surface contained nano-sized grains distributed uniformly all over the surface. It can be concluded that the ITO film deposited at room temperature with 250 W rf power, can provide the required optical and electrical properties useful for developing optoelectronic devices at lower temperatures.  相似文献
