Polarography and chronopotentiometry are used to study the primary processes of the reduction of 2,2′-bipyridine at mercury electrodes in aqueous solutions (12 < pH < 14). Bipyridine and its first reduction product are strongly adsorbed. The reduction is preceded by a complex equilibrium between bipyridine and the cation of the supporting electrolyte (Li, Na, K, Ba). Due to the great excess of the cations, the equilibrium is shifted completely to the side of the complex, which exists as cis- and trans-isomer. The cis-form is more stable, forming a chelate, the trans-form however is more easily reducible. The kinetic and thermodynamic data of the isomerization are determined. The first reduction product reacts irreversibly giving a substance which can be reoxidized to bipyridine via a radical intermediate.  相似文献

The CD spectra of 16 naturally occurring sesquiterpene-umbelliferone ethers, including the complete set of farnesiferol A isomers with all acetates and 6-oxoderivatives, are reported over the significant wavelength range of 350–200 nm. 11 compounds were isolated from an Asa Foetida sample and 5 further derivatives, already known as natural products, were obtained by acetylation orJones oxidation. In addition, a new compound — kamolonol (14) — was isolated. Its structure is characterized by twofold methyl migration in the drimenol derived sesquiterpene moiety.1H-NMR, MS, IR, UV, and CD data of the new compound are discussed.Herrn Prof. Dr.K. Summary Various possibilities for the determination of trace impurities in high-purity iron by atomic spectrometry were investigated in detail. For Ba, Bi, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Ti and V, flame AAS, furnace AAS and ICP-OES were firstly evaluated in terms of their power of detection. Detection limits in the g/g-range could be achieved by direct determination. For determination in the ng/g-range a removal of iron by a solvent extraction technique prior to the instrumental measurement was required. The power of detection of direct determination, and of combined procedures were compared with regard to routine applicability and a minimization of systematic errors.  相似文献

Liquid chromatography in combination with spectroscopic methods like matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOFMS) or nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful method to characterize silsesquioxanes and silsesquioxane mixtures. As new examples, the formation of silsesquioxyl-substituted silsesquioxanes [(n-octyl)(7)(SiO(1.5))(8)](2)O and [(n-octyl)(7)(SiO(1.5))(8)O](2)[(n-octyl)(6)(SiO(1.5))(8)] as well as the cage rearrangement of octa-[(n-heptyl)silsesquioxane] to larger structures [(n-heptyl)SiO(1.5))](n) up to n=28 are shown.  相似文献

This paper deals with the separation of alkanes, naphthenes, and aromatic compounds in naphtha and reformate, on a newly developed apolar high resolution GC column. The selectivity of this apolar phase has been compared with those of squalane, DB-1, and SE-30. A total of 95 hydrocarbons were reliably identified, mostly by GC-MS. Repeated measurements of Kováts retention indices are presented as evidence for the reproducible manufacture of fused silica columns coated with this phase.  相似文献

NMR studies indicate that the (p → d)π bond components of the element-nitrogen bonds steadily decrease from silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur toward their higher homologs. Because of the differences in the polarities of the element-nitrogen bonds, these substances can be used for selective insertion and cleavage reactions. The reaction of metalated N-silylaminoarsines with methyl chloride as well as the reaction of metalated N-trimethyl(IVa)-element-substituted amino-tert-butylphosphines with halogenotrimethyl(IVa) element compounds open new, simple routes for the conversion of elemento-organic amine systems into imine systems. The problem of reversible and irreversible (CH3)3 El ligand migration (1,3 shift) is discussed for trimethyl(IVa)element-substitued benzamidines, diaminophosphines, aminoiminophosphoranes, sulfinamides, and aminosulfimines.  相似文献

    Synthesis and Reactions of the Bicyclo[6.4.0]dodecane-3-carboxylic Acid Derivatives The synthesis and some consecutive reactions of the compounds 5-8 , derivatives of bicyclo[6.4.0]dodecane-3-carboxylic acid ( 1 ), are described. The esters 7 and 8 can be obtained by Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of 2-hydroxy-8-methyltricyclo[7.3.1.02,7]tridecan-13-one ( 4 ) and subsequent hydrolysis of the lactone 5 . The structure and configuration of these compounds has been evaluated by spectroscopic techniques (mainly 2D-NMR methods). The formation of 7 via 1,2-H shift and subsequent isomerization to 8 has been studied. The esters 11 and 13 are formed stereospecifically from 7 and 8 .  相似文献

    A method for performing neutron radiography and locally resolved impedance spectroscopy simultaneously in situ in an operating polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) is presented. The new method provides concurrently spatially resolved information about the local cell performance, the locally limiting processes, and the liquid water distribution. Information about the impact of water on cell performance and limiting processes can be gained in situ on a local scale in an operating PEFC. The method was applied to a PEFC operated on pure H2/O2 in co-flow mode under low humidity operating conditions. The results show that in co-flow mode strong flooding and severe drying can occur at the very same time in different sections of a PEFC.  相似文献
